About: For the past 40 years, dogs have been the heart of my home and my greatest joy. I’ve lovingly cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds , from small purebreds like Pekingese to medium and large dogs including Chow Chows, Dobermans, Rottweilers, and various lovable mix breeds. Each dog has brought unique happiness and taught me so much about giving them the care, routine, exercise, and affection they need. I only take one dog at a time so I can give your pup my complete attention. When you leave your furry family member with me, they’ll be treated like my own showered with love in a calm, safe environment in my San Antonio home. Your dog will never be just another guest, they’ll be treated like family. First, I try to know more about your dog , normal schedule, favorite toys, commands, what they fear and what they like. Building trust is going to be essential so my focus would be to create a bond with your pet. Consistency, patience, and love is what’s going to get us there. Your dog will have their potty breaks, morning walk or play time I have a two bedroom condo, one bedroom is mostly used as an office, I also have a large living room with a large balcony with views of large mature trees where we have visits of birds and squirrels.

“Faith watched our 2 dogs for an extended period this summer (2024) as we were out of the country, she was a life saver for us, we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our boys were well taken care of. Faith constantly checked in and shared pictures of our dogs. Coming back we saw the dogs were happy, clean and well fed. “David & Jennifer met us at our car in front of the house. Although we did not get to see the inside of the property or the fenced in yard, I think it is easier on the pets to not have the owners lingering about for drop off and pick up. I feel it is less stressful on the pets to have a quick drop off. I also did not have time to chat with them very much, but they were wonderful at sending lots of pictures, so I know that they were very well taken care of. My two dogs stayed for one night and they are going back next week for 3 nights. I know my dogs will look forward to spending time with David and Jennifer again. I am happy that I found such wonderful sitters in San Antonio!”

About: My dog of 14 years just passed this year, and I am really missing the daily walks and time with him. I'm not ready for a new dog, but want to help others and spend time with their pups! I had my dog from when he was 8 weeks old all the way through his senior years (and health challenges!). I love all dogs! I work from home and have a super flexible schedule. I can come by during work days at many different times! I do have a toddler who is at daycare from 730am-5pm, it would be very unlikely for her to meet the dogs. If you want to do doggy daycare at my house, I am home all day and we can take lots of walks together. I have a small fenced patio, and then a quiet street for leash walks. In my house, I have a large crate if needed and dog gates at the top and bottom of the stairs.

“This was the second time we've had Rocio take care of Charm and we're so happy about it! Charm is a "senior citizen" and is easily stressed in her old age, but Rocio and her husband are so calm and sweet with her. It's the perfect place for her to be! They also sent me regular photos where we could see that all was well--much appreciated! I highly recommend Rocio!!”
