Pet care experience
With me, they’re family!
Hi there! I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I grew up surrounded by pets of all kinds - dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and even lizards. Most recently, I raised my sweet girl, Paisley, from a playful puppy until she passed away last spring. While I’m not quite ready for another pet of my own, I miss the joy animals bring and would love to share my care and attention with yours. I know pets are family and I treat them that way - with patience, attention, structure, and plenty of belly rubs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just a good cuddle, I’ll make sure your baby feels safe and loved while you’re away. With years of hands on experience in all stages of their life, you can trust that your pet will be in caring and capable hands.

Ratings and reviews
This was Rosie's seconds time with Janelle, and it is such a relief to know that she is getting so much love and care while I'm away!

Janelle was so amazing! I have never left my dog with anyone besides family or friends before, and especially not in a brand new environment. But Janelle made My dog feel right at home!

Awesome service!

Janelle was amazing with Max! She kept me updated with pictures, which really gave me peace of mind. You could tell Max was comfortable and in great hands the whole time. She’s super kind and easy to work with! I’d definitely book with her again.

Had a great booking with Janelle, Thank you!

We want to give a huge thank you to Janelle for taking such great care of Luna while we were out of town. She was amazing, especially with the cold front that came through Texas. Janelle was super communicative, very attentive, and gave Luna so much love—just like we do every day. We really appreciate how well she cared for her and would absolutely love to have Janelle watch Luna again in the future.

Schedule
I work a routine Monday-Friday 9-5 job, which leaves my evenings and weekends wide open. I’d love to dedicate this time to your pet and giving them the care they deserve while you’re away.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
When caring for your pet in my home, I aim to make them feel as comfortable and happy as they are in their own. I have a secure fenced yard for safe play and sunning, a beautiful walkable neighborhood for daily strolls, and plenty of plush beds and toys for rest and fun. I’m a firm believer in maintaining each pet’s normal routine - meals, walks, medicine, bedtime, and all. I’ll carefully follow any instructions you provide to ensure your pet feels right at home and you can have total peace of mind.
A typical day
Throughout each day, your pet will have plenty of opportunities to play and relax - whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood, chasing toys in my fenced in yard, soaking up some sunshine, searching for treats in a sniff mat, or enjoying quiet cuddle time inside. We can also visit one of the nearby dog parks for extra fun and socialization. Each day will be tailored to your pet’s routine, personality, and needs.

- To provide the best care possible, it’s important for me to learn about your pet’s unique needs and routines including: Daily routine - feeding times, walk schedule, sleep habits, and favorite activities. Health - medication, allergies, or mobility issues. Behavior - how they react to other animals, new people, or certain environments. Triggers. Comfort - favorite toys, treats, or blankets that make them feel safe. House rules - what’s allowed or not at your home so I can maintain those boundaries in mine. The more I know, the better I can care for them exactly as you would!
