One was shy and barked at me at first, but now happily runs up to greet me—an experience I truly value. I also volunteer at the Humane Society animal shelter, where I help feed cats, clean their cages, and walk dogs. At times, my responsible and gentle 14-year-old son assists me on walks, offering extra attention and care to the dogs. My priority is making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I work from 10 to 6 on weekdays but I’m able to walk dogs before work or during my lunch break if needed. I also don’t mind walking dogs during the evening time as well. I will make sure to follow any instructions or recommendations from the client concerning the well being of their pet. I typically give the dog daily exercise 4 to 7 times per day. With the owner permission I will take dog to the dog park and keep a watchful eye on the dog at all times there. If I feel another dog is getting aggressive I will immediately remove the dog so nothing escalates.
