“Timothy has been doing drop in visits with my reactive bernedoodle for a couple weeks now. I am amazed at how quickly he's established a rapport with Chewbacca. Tim's knowledgable, patient, and prompt. I will definitely book with him again.”

“Appreciate the dropin visits from ava and the fact that both kitties approached her easily, even davey who usually is a bit more shy with strangers. They, appear happy and well cared for and seeing thecpictures was great!thanks so much! Well contact u next time we need help!”

“Galianna did a great job watching and caring for our pups! We all enjoyed getting updates and pics from the visits. It was nice seeing them get so pampered and loved on while we were away. Galianna is very trustworthy and kept up with excellent communication the entire trip! I would absolutely hire her again in the future and feel our dogs would be very happy to see her again!”

About: I grew up with my family dog whom I love very much. I also cat sit for friends and family whenever possible. I love all animals and love spending time with them! I’m currently working as a RN at the VA. I’m currently working as a full-time RN at the VA. My work schedule differs from week to week, but I’m very flexible with visits and hours on my days off. I can come as often or as little as you need! Unfortunately, at this time I’m not able to take care of pets in my apartment. I will make updates as necessary if anything changes.
“Laura was truly amazing. She treated my boys as if they were her own (and even cared for the outside kitty I take care of). “Animal Whisperer” is an appropriate title for her. I looked forward to each visit report, complete with the BEST pictures 🤍 She left my house cleaner than when I left! If you’re looking for someone who truly has the biggest heart to care for your fur babies, look no further. I’m forever grateful to have someone reliable when I’m in need…plus my boys LOVE her!”

“Halie is an exceptional person and sitter!! We are so appreciative of her kindness to our 4 rescue cats. They all loved her and that’s saying a lot as one of our babies is super duper skittish. Cat moms and dads- totally book with Halie! So grateful for her and so happy to have the peace of mind that comes with complete trust of your fur babies when you go out of town!! 10/10!! Thank you so much Halie!!!!”

“We had the best experience with Maria! She watched our cat for us for 1 week while we were out of town & it could not have gone any better. She dropped by twice a day, gave our cat plenty of love & affection, & sent us lots of pics & updates while we were away which we appreciated so much. Our cat can be very shy but she warmed up to Maria almost instantly & we knew she was in the best care while we were away. We will definitely be booking with Maria again & would recommend her to anyone needing a sitter for their furry friend :)”

“Keerie always provides exceptional communication and care for our two kitties. She even went out of her way to bring a package inside for me. I’ll continue to trust her to care for my babies for as long as she continues to be a Rover sitter.”

“We've loved working with Makaila over the past few months and multiple trips. She's been wonderfully professional, friendly, and very comfortable and knowledgeable about cat behavior. I was always very comfortable leaving my cat in her care, and would continue to work with her if she wasn't moving away! Highly recommend to anyone who needs a sitter.”
“Taylor was so great with my Cleo! She was available on short notice and was willing to meet us prior to going away for a few days. I was really worried how Cleo would react, he is an older dog and protective, but she handled him so very well! Thank so much Taylor! I will be reaching out again!”

About: I’m 25 and currently located in Broadview HeightsI have a few family pets but one cat of my own. I am open to any breed or size of animal. I’m available on very short notice and I have experience taking care of many different sizes of dogs. I’m also able to perform other tasks if needed ie. bathing pets, vet trips, household chores, laundry and almost anything else you can think of (for an additional cost). I am a college student at LCCC where I do the university partnership and study marine biology and environmental studies. To say I love animals is an understatement. I want to provide your pet with as much love and care as possible and I would love to be your family’s trusted pet sitter! All pets for house sitting must be okay with being alone for at least 8 hours at a time while I am at my full time job. The house sitting price reflects a 10-12 hour overnight cost (depending on current availability) and one 30 minute drop in directly after work (around 6:45pm). Please note that if your pet(s) require around the clock care Monday-Friday, I will be unable to accommodate that due to my full time work schedule. Drop ins and other requests are considered on a case by case basis as I may be able to drop in on a lunch break if your home is close enough to my job. The more notice (for weekend requests) the better as I tend to travel on weekends. I will only do what you are comfortable with me doing ie. talking your dog on walks, going to the dog park. Please don’t hesitate to tell me what you’re comfortable with. I want you to be able to be stress free while I care for your pets. I will do my best to make sure to follow whatever instructions you leave me with to care for your pet. I want to make sure that they are just as happy as you are. Please provide me with specific details on how to care for your pet. I promise that the more I know the better.
About: I've had animals my entire life. When family friends went on vacation, they called me 🐶🐱 I believe that animals are more than pets, they're family. They deserve the same level of care & love that humans do. I've had years of experience training dogs to do tricks or walk properly, giving cats & dogs medicine, and grooming them thoroughly. I have taken care of puppies and senior pets. I work from home a lot so I have time on my hands that someone with a 9-5 wouldn't! My schedule is very flexible for this type of work. For caring for pets in my clients home, I believe keeping their routine consistent is key. Animals like consistently or some sense of familiar structure. Matching the energy that their parent has is also essential in my book as well.
“Jenna was absolutely amazing with our dogs! She was so kind and patient with them and took awesome care of them while we were out of town. Our dogs tend to be a little nervous but she was so patient and kind with them and they warmed up so quick to her! She is so reliable and it was such a relief to know that my pups were in good hands. Thank you Jenna!! You’re the best!”

Enjoying a walk with your dog at the pace that best suits them will be a priority. I also have a small dog who can accompany us on walks if your dog needs/enjoys social interaction. My main goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, well cared for and loved, treating them with the same dependability, warmth & attention as I would my own. Another aim is to keep pet owners informed and follow any specific needs/directions requested, including any medication administration to ensure a great visit. I will also take care of your home with the same respect as your pets - cleaning up after your pets & wiping dogs’ paws after a rainy, snowy, muddy walk! You and your pet can count on me to be reliable, consistent, friendly and on time. Retired with availability on both weekdays and weekends for drop -in visits and dog walking for the furry members of your family. Drop-in visits and dog walks are usually 30 minutes, but I have flexibility to increase the length to 60 minutes (see extended care) Your trust and your pet’s safety are very important to me. While caring for your pets in your home I will respect your space, follow your instructions & always make sure that doors, crates and gates are closed. On walks I’ll make sure to keep an eye on your dog’s body language, needs and have water & treats available to ensure that it is fun, safe and filled with some good sniffing time too!
About: I was in 4H all my youth. I learned how to teach a dog basic obedience through advanced courses such as rally(obstacle courses). I learned how each dog is different and meet them where they are at. I listen to pet parents and use their training style so the pets feel consistency. I am very gentle with all animals. Each one just wants to know they are safe when their parent is gone. I am a morning person so I am up early with my animals. I love being active in the morning. I know that animals usually like to be active in the mornings too. I will care for your pets as you have instructed. I want every parent to know their pet is safe because I listened to their instructions and I care for their well being.

About: I have a love for both dogs and cats. I have far more experience with cats since I’ve always had a cat growing up and to this day. I know exactly what to do for cats and what they need. For dogs, I’ll just need a checklist / reminder of what you need me to do and I’ll do it! I will play, feed, and take your dog out when needed! Pet care fits into my daily routine as my first priority. As soon as I’m awake I’ll take care of myself then be on my way to attend your animals and their needs. Just let me know their needs and I will do all that I’m told. Seeing animals throughout my day automatically makes it a good day! I care my own cat by making sure she has food/water and playing with her throughout the day everyday. I make sure her litter box is taken care of as well. I plan to do the same for your animals. I love playing with cats and dogs both and I have a soft heart for animals 🩵.
About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I work full time, so evenings during the week work best and my availability is flexible on the weekends. I am more than happy to discuss more! My services will be suited for the clients’ need. I will discuss with you on how to care for pets before the booked appointment. You will know exactly where your pet is at all times.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Richfield. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
