About: I’ve had pets my entire life, and have experience with pet sitting as a teenager. I currently have two regular clients, I have 5 pets of my own and would love to help with cats or small dogs when you need it! I’m a probation officer, and a reliable animal lover. I work from home typically Tuesday-Thursday depending on my work schedule, so I have more flexibility on my lunch break on these days to help out with drop in visits. If you trust me to keep your pet at my home, I’ll be with them all day and can provide frequent potty breaks Tuesday-Thursday. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space to run, and two dogs who would love a playmate and sleepover! If you have a cat, I will check in and provide company as needed.

About: I am a high school teacher currently off for the summer. I am new to pet sitting, however I love all kinds of pets. I have pet sitter for friends & family before, but newer to Rover! About: I grew up with my family dog whom I love very much. I also cat sit for friends and family whenever possible. I love all animals and love spending time with them! I’m currently working as a RN at the VA. I’m currently working as a full-time RN at the VA. My work schedule differs from week to week, but I’m very flexible with visits and hours on my days off. I can come as often or as little as you need! Unfortunately, at this time I’m not able to take care of pets in my apartment. I will make updates as necessary if anything changes.

About: I've had animals my entire life. When family friends went on vacation, they called me 🐶🐱 I believe that animals are more than pets, they're family. They deserve the same level of care & love that humans do. I've had years of experience training dogs to do tricks or walk properly, giving cats & dogs medicine, and grooming them thoroughly. About: I won’t lie and say I’ve professionally taken care of dogs for 15 years—but I’ve taken care of dogs ever since elementary school, in my own household and in others’. I know what to look out for to prevent a dog from getting into trouble. I’ve dealt with just about all kinds of messes. And I can handle any size of dog. My main job is part-time contract work, so there are a lot of monetary and time gaps that need filled. That said, my routine allows a lot of room for pet sitting! Every dog is different, so I take that approach with each pet I look after. I follow owner’s instructions, and if I have any questions I am not afraid to ask for clarification—the dog’s/owner’s needs come first. I love giving dogs the attention they deserve (which is usually a lot), and am great at playing.

About: Retired RN with 40+ years of experience caring for my own, family and friends’ pets, from puppy/kitty stages to senior years. Offering care to any aged pet with fun playtime thrown in too! Enjoying a walk with your dog at the pace that best suits them will be a priority. I also have a small dog who can accompany us on walks if your dog needs/enjoys social interaction. My main goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, well cared for and loved, treating them with the same dependability, warmth & attention as I would my own. Another aim is to keep pet owners informed and follow any specific needs/directions requested, including any medication administration to ensure a great visit. I will also take care of your home with the same respect as your pets - cleaning up after your pets & wiping dogs’ paws after a rainy, snowy, muddy walk! You and your pet can count on me to be reliable, consistent, friendly and on time. Retired with availability on both weekdays and weekends for drop -in visits and dog walking for the furry members of your family. Drop-in visits and dog walks are usually 30 minutes, but I have flexibility to increase the length to 60 minutes (see extended care) Your trust and your pet’s safety are very important to me. While caring for your pets in your home I will respect your space, follow your instructions & always make sure that doors, crates and gates are closed. On walks I’ll make sure to keep an eye on your dog’s body language, needs and have water & treats available to ensure that it is fun, safe and filled with some good sniffing time too!

About: I’ve had many cats and dogs growing up! I have experience caring for chickens, Guinea pigs and just about anything in between! For the past year I have also provided care for two dogs almost everyday to let them out. Would love to work with you! I'm currently an MFA student at The University of Iowa! I would always make sure they have access to water always, including walks! I love taking animals on hikes, especially for the younger ones, long hikes! Food when they need or whatever that schedule is like, and making sure they have plenty of opportunities to use the restroom. I'm currently an MFA student, but will also always find time for your animals! I will also mark off the days that I am unavailable. I make sure they are entertained with some play time, make sure they always have access to water and make sure to follow their everyday routine as closely as my schedule allows.
