I lost my 15 year old dog recently that I took care of her medical needs for 2 years she had congestive heart failure I’m currently working part time for myself so I have lots of free time to drop in and walk and care for dogs and cats! Before college, I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for two years as a Lead Dog Handler. We focused on enrichment techniques, and I learned a lot about dogs and their behavior. I can read dog body language and react appropriately to it, I can help train dogs, and most importantly I can make sure a dog is having fun! Whether your dog is older and treasures their nap time, a puppy who wants constant play, or something in between, I can meet them where they are and ensure they are comfortable, safe, and happy. If needed, I am able to do basic grooming tasks such as bathing and nail trims, I can administer medications, and I am trained in safely breaking up dog fights and restraining animals.
