About: I've been around cats and dogs my whole life and always enjoyed learning their unique personalities and social hierarchies. I am still (forever) mourning the loss of my childhood dogs and funnel my love for them towards any dog I encounter. I was a 4Paws sitter in college, so I have experience with socializing puppies and some basic training, while adapting to the dog's different ages. I have a cat of my own that I love like my own human child, and I spread that care and joy to any kitty I encounter! I am currently very flexible as I am new to the area and between jobs. I have the time to show your pet the care and love that it needs while you are gone! I have my own car so I can easily travel to care for multiple pets if necessary. My yard is not entirely fenced in, but there is grass in the back and front. I have one cat in my home, so I require cat-friendly dogs that can ideally be crated for short periods if needed. As far as other cats, I know it can be situational, but I do have the space to keep the cats separated to begin with/ the whole visit if necessary. All of our indoor plants are pet-friendly as well!
“Taylor was so great with my Cleo! She was available on short notice and was willing to meet us prior to going away for a few days. I was really worried how Cleo would react, he is an older dog and protective, but she handled him so very well! Thank so much Taylor! I will be reaching out again!”

“We have been looking for the perfect person to sit with Kato. And we found her. Zoey was so good with him. He went to her as soon as he saw her. Very rare for him. He has anxieties. We have been looking since we retired to be able to travel more. Shame it is only a 5 star rating.”

About: I have experience caring for pets, including training puppies and giving extra gentle care to senior pets. What makes me stand out is how much I truly care about each animal’s unique needs and making sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I am constantly around animals and having to commit myself to taking care of them. I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to loving them. I would love to be able to take them to the dog park where they can also interact with other animals while you're away! Pet care fits smoothly into my daily and weekly routine because I prioritize consistent time for feeding, exercise, play, and rest. I make sure to set aside dedicated moments each day to attend to pets’ needs, whether it’s morning walks, midday playtime, or evening cuddles, so they always feel cared for and comfortable. I can do drop in visits and dog walking any time tuesday-thursday. friday thru monday i can do 6-8:30am and 9-10pm. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I prioritize creating a safe and calm environment. I make sure all areas are pet-proofed to prevent accidents, keep their food and water fresh, and maintain a clean space. I also follow any specific instructions from the owner closely, whether it’s about feeding, medication, or exercise, to build trust and ensure pets feel secure and comfortable.
“Anna was great with my pup! She had never been cared for by anyone and was very afraid. Anna was very patient with her and made her feel comfortable. Would definitely book her again!!”

“Tasha is amazing!! She was so sweet and kind to deal with, trustworthy, even brought my packages in. Totally hope I can use her again in the future for checking in on my senior kitty!!”

About: I have loved animals all my life and have been asked to watch family and friends pets on countless occasions. I believe in the importance of enrichment activities as well as the good ole belly rubs. Whatever the pet is in need of I am happy to help make their day brighter. I can’t wait to spread the love to more fur babies! I’m currently working full time but always have time for walks and playdates with your pets! Weekdays after 6:30 and weekends work the best but I am flexible! I have a2 year old Beagle Boston terrier who gets a few hours of physical activity and mental enrichment a day before winding down for snuggles and love. We spend time on training and puzzles as well as engaging walks.
About: I have over 5 years of experience caring for animals through pet sitting, family pets, and helping friends and relatives with their pets. I genuinely love spending time with animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. I now live in a house with a large fenced backyard where dogs have plenty of room to play safely. I also have my own bedroom and bathroom, allowing me to provide pets with a quiet, comfortable space if needed. There is a friendly German Shepherd in the home who absolutely loves other dogs, making it a great environment for social pups. If your dog prefers their own space, I can easily accommodate that as well. We also live within walking distance of a park, so dogs can enjoy regular walks, exercise, and plenty of time outdoors. Whether your pet enjoys playing in the yard, exploring on walks, or relaxing inside, I'll make sure they feel comfortable and loved. I am also happy to care for pets in their own home through overnight stays, drop in visits, or walks. I follow each pet's routine closely, including feeding schedules, medications, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. As a college student, my schedule is flexible and allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I care for. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I always prioritize their safety, happiness, and well being. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. As a college student, my schedule is flexible and allows me to dedicate time to caring for pets throughout the week. I can provide walks, drop in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship while making sure pets stay on their normal routines. I am reliable, organized, and committed to giving pets the attention and care they deserve. I always prioritize a pet's safety, comfort, and well being. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow all instructions carefully and work to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I make sure pets have fresh water, meals on schedule, exercise, and plenty of attention. I respect clients' homes, keep doors and gates secure, and provide updates so owners can feel confident that their pets are safe and happy while they are away.
“To simply describe Sydney as AMAZING is not enough. Not only is she excellent at communicating (even when I might take a bit of time to respond), her love and care for my cats are phenomenal. My shy cat took to her so quickly that I’m sure if given the choice, he would not mind going home with her 😆. The picture and video updates I got put me at extreme ease while I was traveling, knowing that my cats and my place were in great hands. I would not even hesitate a single second about recommending her for pet sitting. 1000% would be asking her to care for my boys again in the future.”

“Dailie was great! She was able to help us out on short notice for a couple of drop ins and we were very pleased with her services. Punctual, courteous, and caring of our dog. Would hire again!”

About: Since I was young, I’ve always had a pet. After college I finally got a pet of my own and they’ve just multiplied over the years! Dogs are my specialty - I’ve taken care of dogs belonging to friends and family & I’ve trained both of my dogs since they were puppies. I’d say what sets me apart from others is that I have plenty of time in the afternoons (and any time during the weekend) to take care of your pup because my job ends early in the day unlike a 9-5 job. I have years of experience under my belt and I just really love animals. Always have and always will! As a teacher, I am always home early on the weekdays so I’ll have plenty of time every afternoon to play with & walk your dog! I am available any time on the weekends and I can board Fri-Sun. My husband and I have a big fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company! We are firm believers in lots of walks, lots of playtime, and positive reinforcement. If needed, we can provide a crate as a safe space for your dog to lounge in. Our dogs are our children and we will treat your dog with the same love as we treat our own :)
“I am so very happy to have connected with Rebecca! This was my first time using Rover and my 8 year old dog has very limited tolerance for “strangers” (human and canine) so I was a bit nervous about how our full 6 days away would go for our little Luna. but Rebecca made me and my pup feel comfortable from the very start! Rebecca visited twice before we left so Luna could be familiar. Rover app is amazing in keeping owners updated on sitters arrival and departure times. Rebecca was prompt each time she visited Luna and was amazing about sharing pictures and updates. I recommend Rebecca without reservation and will be reaching out again next time we head out of town.”

Dakota was amazing with my boys. She was able to connect with my shy one so quickly, which gave me even more relief with their care. She was also extremely easy to reach and she was in constant contact with me. I will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future for other pet sitting needs.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
