We had Amber do two drop-in visits per day for 2 days, and she was outstanding in every way. From the very beginning, she was quick with responses, incredibly flexible, accommodating a last minute booking and even adjusting the schedule by several hours on the first day when our departure got delayed with her schedule and flexibility luckily coming through again for us. She made the whole process stress free. She was wonderful with our dog Hazel. The updates she sent through the Rover app were some of the best and reassuring. She included exactly when Hazel went on bathroom breaks during walks, how much she ate and drank, and how she was doing overall. When we got home, Hazel was so comfortable and happy that she was sprawled upside down on the bed in the bedroom and didn’t even hear me calling her loudly from the other room, that’s how relaxed and well cared for she was! Amber took Hazel on multiple walks each visit, made sure she was fed and watered, and clearly gave her lots of love and attention. We felt completely at ease leaving our girl in her care and trusted her 100%. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative pet sitter. About: I have had dogs since I was little and love playing with them and taking care of them. I’m an athletic person so if the dog is in the mood to play, I can certainly be a great playmate! I have experience with dog sitting overnight, dog walking, and drop-in visits. I work at a nursing home, but I get to choose the shifts I pick up, so my schedule can be very flexible. I am looking for more pups to help out! I can provide overnight care at the owners home. While I am there, I make sure to take your dog for walks, play outside, and give lots of rubs and cuddles. As a person, I am very low maintenance, so you won’t have to provide hardly anything if come care for your pups overnight.

About: Since I was young, I’ve always had a pet. After college I finally got a pet of my own and they’ve just multiplied over the years! Dogs are my specialty - I’ve taken care of dogs belonging to friends and family & I’ve trained both of my dogs since they were puppies. I’d say what sets me apart from others is that I have plenty of time in the afternoons (and any time during the weekend) to take care of your pup because my job ends early in the day unlike a 9-5 job. I have years of experience under my belt and I just really love animals. Always have and always will! As a teacher, I am always home early on the weekdays so I’ll have plenty of time every afternoon to play with & walk your dog! I am available any time on the weekends and I can board Fri-Sun. My husband and I have a big fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company! We are firm believers in lots of walks, lots of playtime, and positive reinforcement. If needed, we can provide a crate as a safe space for your dog to lounge in. Our dogs are our children and we will treat your dog with the same love as we treat our own :)

About: I have been routinely dog sitting and watching since before I was 12 years old. From small, to medium, to large dogs, I can handle it all! I have even watched cats, ferrets, and lizards. About: I have been taking care of dogs most of my life. I am 57. I have done dog training and agility with 2 of our dogs. I have had a puppy and dealt with Senior dogs too. I love to give our dog lots of attention with play time, walking and outdoor activities. I love to take walks and go to other parks too. With the owner's permission, I love to go to the dog park-Bow Wow dog park and the Akron Dog Park. I give your furry one lots of attention with play time-throwing toys-playing fetch with a ball or toy. Letting them have backyard time. We have a fenced in back yard for the dogs to be free. I also will brush your dog and pet them and give them attention, while you are away. I will treat your dog like he/she is my own dog. Another place I will take dogs is Petsmart or Pet Supplies Plus for social interaction and exercise. I am at home and available most days. We have a 20 year-old Son, who also loves dogs! My Husband helps out too, with walks and letting the dogs out in our backyard and is a dog person. Currently, I am not working. I have a knee problem and some medical issues that prevent me from working full time. I have plenty of time to take care of your dog. We love to take walks and go to the dog parks. However, if you prefer your dog not to go to the dog park, that is fine. We could go on walks and let your dog go outside in our backyard. We have lots of dog toys, bones, balls, etc... I do have a walk thru pet gate that I set up to block off the kitchen and dining room area. We will feed our dog and your dog separately in separate rooms. I love to brush and pet dogs. If needed, we could bath your dog too. We are a "dog" type family, that is our preference. We have had fish, hamsters and also a guinea pig in the past. I grew up with a cat in our home, as a child. We will throw ball and toys for the dogs and play with your dog. We have a small crate that is in our garage, however we don't usually use the crate. If we leave the home, depending on the situation, if your dog is destructive or chewing on furniture or other items, then we will crate your dog when we leave for church or a short errand. If you have a calm dog and the dog is not destructive and well mannered, then your dog could stay in the family room area, unless you prefer that your dog is in his crate. We will use 2 dog gates near our steps to go upstairs. We prefer that our dog and other dogs do not go upstairs. As a House Sitter, I would do any needed cleaning up of any messes I make. I would be bringing my own food, as I am gluten free and dairy free. The only thing I would need is some freezer and frigerated space for my food. I would follow your normal routine for your dog or dogs. I do have occasional Dr and therapy appointments, fyi. We have a home in Akron, with a fence in our backyard. We live near a forest, it is a quiet area. We have a small neighborhood, where the street dead ends to a forest. We don't get drive thru traffic, that use our area as a "short cut".

About: I have loved animals all my life and have been asked to watch family and friends pets on countless occasions. I believe in the importance of enrichment activities as well as the good ole belly rubs. Whatever the pet is in need of I am happy to help make their day brighter. I can’t wait to spread the love to more fur babies! I’m currently working full time but always have time for walks and playdates with your pets! Weekdays after 6:30 and weekends work the best but I am flexible! I have a2 year old Beagle Boston terrier who gets a few hours of physical activity and mental enrichment a day before winding down for snuggles and love. We spend time on training and puzzles as well as engaging walks.
