House Sitting in Copley

“This was our first time having a house + dog sitter while we were out of town several days - I had actually posted it as a drop-in (several times/day but no overnight), but Kimberly impressed me by suggesting that SHE would prefer that it be a house-sitting situation (because it would be preferred for the dogs AND be especially convenient for her). I was honestly not excited about the dogs being by themselves for such long stretches already, so readily agreed. The first time we met, the dogs were immediately at-ease with Kim, and she asked some astute questions (such as - how will they do with any fireworks that might be going off for New Years?) that put me also at ease. While we were gone, we got daily updates about their 'activities' as well as a few pics of the dogs doing their normal things, obviously very comfortable. She left the house in pristine (well, as pristine as she found it lol) condition. Would absolutely recommend Kim for your dog - and house - sitting!”

“Taevon stayed at our house for 23 days to watch our two German Shepherds, three chickens, and a very old kitty!! When Tae first came to meet our doggies, our typically reserved Shepherds literally ran to him to give him kisses and demand affection like they had just reunited with their very best friend. They loved him immediately and were so excited to meet him! We have never seen them act like this towards anyone, including people they know, and we immediately knew they were going to be so happy and beyond taken care of. We also have 3 chickens we are incredibly protective of and Tae made sure they are safe and keep up their daily routine. Add an old kitty to the mix who can be a bit of a bossy old man, and the extensive amount of time we were away- not many would be up for this challenge but Taevon did not hesitate to do it. We are incredibly grateful for his willingness to care for our babies and they were so happy and healthy. He is the sweetest and we have never felt more comfortable with anyone watching our babies than we did with him. For as long as he is willing, he will forever be our first choice to watch our home and our pets. We love our families but we would choose Tae over them for this- that's how comfortable and happy our animals and we felt with him. Have I mentioned that after us being gone for over 3 weeks we came back home to a clean house?! He is literally THE BEST!!!!”

About: I’ve spent my whole life surrounded by animals in some form or another! I’ve been the family + friends pet sitter for as long as I can remember, everything from dogs to cats to ferrets to snakes; it is always such a joy. I know how important your pet is to you, and I would be honored to be given the opportunity to take care of them and show them the love they deserve! Keeping your pet happy and in good care is my goal, always. From walks, to playtime, to just keeping them company, to anything else (i know each dog’s personality is unique and that they each have different needs, and I will treat them as such), I will always be happy and willing to do what I can. I am lucky enough to have a pretty flexible schedule, so depending on what your needs are, I am happy to do whatever I can to make that work! Keeping your pet safe is my top priority. I know that what that means specifically will always depend on each person and their fur baby. However you want your little friend taken care of, that is what I’ll do.

“Monica housesat my 2 dogs for a full week and did an amazing job!! She took care of them as if they were her own, was a great communicator, and followed all my instructions. She administered my dog's medication daily and made sure to highlight any differences she noticed over the week to make sure everything was as expected. She is so kind and thoughtful and it was so comforting getting pictures and videos of my dogs being happy and playful while I was away! My dogs love Monica and I am so grateful for her!”

About: Since I was young, I’ve always had a pet. After college I finally got a pet of my own and they’ve just multiplied over the years! Dogs are my specialty - I’ve taken care of dogs belonging to friends and family & I’ve trained both of my dogs since they were puppies. I’d say what sets me apart from others is that I have plenty of time in the afternoons (and any time during the weekend) to take care of your pup because my job ends early in the day unlike a 9-5 job. I have years of experience under my belt and I just really love animals. Always have and always will! As a teacher, I am always home early on the weekdays so I’ll have plenty of time every afternoon to play with & walk your dog! I am available any time on the weekends and I can board Fri-Sun. My husband and I have a big fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company! We are firm believers in lots of walks, lots of playtime, and positive reinforcement. If needed, we can provide a crate as a safe space for your dog to lounge in. Our dogs are our children and we will treat your dog with the same love as we treat our own :)

About: I have loved animals all my life and have been asked to watch family and friends pets on countless occasions. I believe in the importance of enrichment activities as well as the good ole belly rubs. Whatever the pet is in need of I am happy to help make their day brighter. I can’t wait to spread the love to more fur babies! I’m currently working full time but always have time for walks and playdates with your pets! Weekdays after 6:30 and weekends work the best but I am flexible! I have a2 year old Beagle Boston terrier who gets a few hours of physical activity and mental enrichment a day before winding down for snuggles and love. We spend time on training and puzzles as well as engaging walks.

About: I’ve had the pleasure of taking care of various kinds of animals, dogs and cats . I Will respect your love for your animal that you’ve trusted me with. I am Retired, enjoy walking so why not walk a dog? I’m very responsible, and if I say I’ll be there to care for your dog, I will be there. I live in a great neighbourhood with sidewalks. I have no problem taking a dog on a leash to a nearby park. I ALWAYS pick up after dog.
