About: I have had dogs since I was little and love playing with them and taking care of them. I’m an athletic person so if the dog is in the mood to play, I can certainly be a great playmate! I have experience with dog sitting overnight, dog walking, and drop-in visits. I work at a nursing home, but I get to choose the shifts I pick up, so my schedule can be very flexible. I am looking for more pups to help out! I can provide overnight care at the owners home. While I am there, I make sure to take your dog for walks, play outside, and give lots of rubs and cuddles. As a person, I am very low maintenance, so you won’t have to provide hardly anything if come care for your pups overnight.

About: I grew up with my family dog whom I love very much. I also cat sit for friends and family whenever possible. I love all animals and love spending time with them! I’m currently working as a RN at the VA. I’m currently working as a full-time RN at the VA. My work schedule differs from week to week, but I’m very flexible with visits and hours on my days off. I can come as often or as little as you need! Unfortunately, at this time I’m not able to take care of pets in my apartment. I will make updates as necessary if anything changes.

About: I've had animals my entire life. When family friends went on vacation, they called me 🐶🐱 I believe that animals are more than pets, they're family. They deserve the same level of care & love that humans do. I've had years of experience training dogs to do tricks or walk properly, giving cats & dogs medicine, and grooming them thoroughly. I have taken care of puppies and senior pets. I work from home a lot so I have time on my hands that someone with a 9-5 wouldn't! My schedule is very flexible for this type of work. For caring for pets in my clients home, I believe keeping their routine consistent is key. Animals like consistently or some sense of familiar structure. Matching the energy that their parent has is also essential in my book as well.

About: I provide dog sitting in your home as well as dog walking services. I have several years experience working with animals and house sitting for friends and families with pets. I love animals and always give them the attention and care that they need. This includes reaching the standards of owners expectations. Organization of food, leashes, time management, play time, potty breaks and more. Meeting standards for cleanliness. Caring for each pet differently and fully understanding their needs and routines. Clear communication is number one for me in order to help the best way I possibly can and to give your animals the care they need. I am currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to care for your pets and give them all the love and attention they will need while you are away. I always make sure to pay attention to your pets behavior and stick closest to their normal routines. In this way if any issues we’re to come up I would know how to help. About: I have 6 years of hands-on experience walking and handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I worked as a veterinary assistant for 1.5 years caring for dogs and cats. Prior to this I spent 3 years at a shelter specializing in abused pit bulls. I’m comfortable with high-energy, strong, and rescue dogs, and I also have work experience as a kennel technician caring for cats. Whatever their personality type or energy level, my goal is to make your pets feel safe, understood, and cared for like they’re my own. Im currently in the processing of completing a 10 week pet grooming course that i attend Mon-Fri, 9-4. So, I will be available for house sitting on weekdays, 5 pm to 7:30 am. I can house sit and provide constant care on the weekends if needed. I can walk dogs or do check-ins any day of the week, however Mon-Fri i am only available in the early morning and also after 5pm. I will keep your pets' home environment, clean, safe and calm. For kitties, I can clean litter boxes, follow specific feeding/play routine or simply just be a calm caring presence. For dogs, I can also follow any feeding or enrichment routines you may have, nothing is too elaborate or complex! I have much experience caring for animals in need of highly specific care. I live an active lifestyle so i will have no problem wearing out your puppy or higher energy dog! I can do brisk walks or even runs. I also have a special place in my heart for older pups. I pay especially close attention if a dog is elderly or arthritic. I will never make them feel rushed or forced and I will let them set the pace for the day, depending on their mood and energy level.

My main goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, well cared for and loved, treating them with the same dependability, warmth & attention as I would my own. Another aim is to keep pet owners informed and follow any specific needs/directions requested, including any medication administration to ensure a great visit. I will also take care of your home with the same respect as your pets - cleaning up after your pets & wiping dogs’ paws after a rainy, snowy, muddy walk! You and your pet can count on me to be reliable, consistent, friendly and on time. Retired with availability on both weekdays and weekends for drop -in visits and dog walking for the furry members of your family. Drop-in visits and dog walks are usually 30 minutes, but I have flexibility to increase the length to 60 minutes (see extended care) Your trust and your pet’s safety are very important to me. While caring for your pets in your home I will respect your space, follow your instructions & always make sure that doors, crates and gates are closed. On walks I’ll make sure to keep an eye on your dog’s body language, needs and have water & treats available to ensure that it is fun, safe and filled with some good sniffing time too!

About: I’ve had many cats and dogs growing up! I have experience caring for chickens, Guinea pigs and just about anything in between! For the past year I have also provided care for two dogs almost everyday to let them out. Would love to work with you! I'm currently an MFA student at The University of Iowa! I would always make sure they have access to water always, including walks! I love taking animals on hikes, especially for the younger ones, long hikes! Food when they need or whatever that schedule is like, and making sure they have plenty of opportunities to use the restroom. I'm currently an MFA student, but will also always find time for your animals! I will also mark off the days that I am unavailable. I make sure they are entertained with some play time, make sure they always have access to water and make sure to follow their everyday routine as closely as my schedule allows.

About: I have been taking care of dogs most of my life. I am 57. I have done dog training and agility with 2 of our dogs. I have had a puppy and dealt with Senior dogs too. I love to give our dog lots of attention with play time, walking and outdoor activities. I love to take walks and go to other parks too. With the owner's permission, I love to go to the dog park-Bow Wow dog park and the Akron Dog Park. I give your furry one lots of attention with play time-throwing toys-playing fetch with a ball or toy. Letting them have backyard time. We have a fenced in back yard for the dogs to be free. I also will brush your dog and pet them and give them attention, while you are away. I will treat your dog like he/she is my own dog. Another place I will take dogs is Petsmart or Pet Supplies Plus for social interaction and exercise. I am at home and available most days. We have a 20 year-old Son, who also loves dogs! My Husband helps out too, with walks and letting the dogs out in our backyard and is a dog person. Currently, I am not working. I have a knee problem and some medical issues that prevent me from working full time. I have plenty of time to take care of your dog. We love to take walks and go to the dog parks. However, if you prefer your dog not to go to the dog park, that is fine. We could go on walks and let your dog go outside in our backyard. We have lots of dog toys, bones, balls, etc... I do have a walk thru pet gate that I set up to block off the kitchen and dining room area. We will feed our dog and your dog separately in separate rooms. I love to brush and pet dogs. If needed, we could bath your dog too. We are a "dog" type family, that is our preference. We have had fish, hamsters and also a guinea pig in the past. I grew up with a cat in our home, as a child. We will throw ball and toys for the dogs and play with your dog. We have a small crate that is in our garage, however we don't usually use the crate. If we leave the home, depending on the situation, if your dog is destructive or chewing on furniture or other items, then we will crate your dog when we leave for church or a short errand. If you have a calm dog and the dog is not destructive and well mannered, then your dog could stay in the family room area, unless you prefer that your dog is in his crate. We will use 2 dog gates near our steps to go upstairs. We prefer that our dog and other dogs do not go upstairs. As a House Sitter, I would do any needed cleaning up of any messes I make. I would be bringing my own food, as I am gluten free and dairy free. The only thing I would need is some freezer and frigerated space for my food. I would follow your normal routine for your dog or dogs. I do have occasional Dr and therapy appointments, fyi. We have a home in Akron, with a fence in our backyard. We live near a forest, it is a quiet area. We have a small neighborhood, where the street dead ends to a forest. We don't get drive thru traffic, that use our area as a "short cut".
