He is a puppy with a lot of energy, but she has so much patience with him and is happy to help with his training as much as possible during her visits. About: Growing up with dogs as a part of the family I have taken care of them my whole life. When I was 15 my family brought home a new puppy and I didn’t have a summer job, so she was my responsibility. Over the years I have taken care of dogs of all ages from energetic puppies to senior pups that need a little more love and understanding. I have administered medications and eye drops with ease and few trick up my sleeves. I enjoy having training sessions with the dogs and even teaching them a new trick while their family is away. This helps give them something to focus on and encourages bonding between us. I would be honored to take care of your furry family member while you’re away. I'm currently have a hybrid work schedule and would love to help out your family while I have the time. While in my current status I can do more walks, potty breaks as needed. Potty break is the first and foremost needed when I arrive at a client's home. Then a walk, a little time for some training and a little bit of play as well. It's just as important they have some mental stimulation.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was around 8 years old. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. Pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine because I care deeply for my animals and my friends animals as well. When I’m not home spending time with my two emotional support Cats, I am spending time with my best friend, her cat and German Shepherd. We love to take her dog on adventures and explore new hiking trails. Im more focused on dog walking but am conveniently a jack of all trades. About: I've been around cats and dogs my whole life and always enjoyed learning their unique personalities and social hierarchies. I am still (forever) mourning the loss of my childhood dogs and funnel my love for them towards any dog I encounter. I was a 4Paws sitter in college, so I have experience with socializing puppies and some basic training, while adapting to the dog's different ages. I have a cat of my own that I love like my own human child, and I spread that care and joy to any kitty I encounter! I am currently very flexible as I am new to the area and between jobs. I have the time to show your pet the care and love that it needs while you are gone! I have my own car so I can easily travel to care for multiple pets if necessary. My yard is not entirely fenced in, but there is grass in the back and front. I have one cat in my home, so I require cat-friendly dogs that can ideally be crated for short periods if needed. As far as other cats, I know it can be situational, but I do have the space to keep the cats separated to begin with/ the whole visit if necessary. All of our indoor plants are pet-friendly as well!

About: I have worked with dogs specifically for about 3 years and some months. I’ve done Boarding/Daycare as well as Bathing. (this is where most of my experience comes from) I’ve bathed, brushed, and even trimmed nails of dogs of all kinds and ages for 2-3 years. Even though my boarding and daycare experience is new, I did enjoy it very much and I follow instruction well as long as they are direct and clear. I have extreme patience when it comes to learning the behaviors of our pets, I know not all dogs or cats are the same and they all have their boundaries and different personalities that make them special to us and I respect that. I love cats of all breeds as well. Believe it or not as much as I have dealt with all breeds I personally LOVE the big breeds, I do not mind hair or drool! (of both cats and dogs) I also have 3 cats and a Husky who is soon to turn 4! I will admit I do not know everything again every animal is different but I am willing to learn and adapt to what you and your pets need or want. All of my animals have a routine in my home. My Husky will get water before his food (he won’t even touch his food before we go outside lol) after I take him out to our lil dog park (at my apt) I then give him his food , After that I go and give my cats their water and food and clean their litter boxes (and their room) Then after my husky finishes his food for exercise we go on an hour or so walk (if you have a husky you understand lol) I am very clean dependent , I do not like a messy environment I am constantly sweeping and cleaning my apt to try and keep it as clean as possible with four pets. I do crate my husky whenever I leave , we’ve been doing as such since he was a pup!

Before college, I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for two years as a Lead Dog Handler. We focused on enrichment techniques, and I learned a lot about dogs and their behavior. I can read dog body language and react appropriately to it, I can help train dogs, and most importantly I can make sure a dog is having fun! Whether your dog is older and treasures their nap time, a puppy who wants constant play, or something in between, I can meet them where they are and ensure they are comfortable, safe, and happy. If needed, I am able to do basic grooming tasks such as bathing and nail trims, I can administer medications, and I am trained in safely breaking up dog fights and restraining animals. About: Hey there! I’m Kristen. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was in elementary school! I have experience taking care of and owning small and large dog breeds, cats, and even farm animals like goats, pigs, turkeys and cows! I also worked at a local public alpaca farm, Majestic Meadows, and provided love, care and husbandry for a variety of exotic and farm animals, including horses, donkeys, alpacas, llamas, and more! I have experience working with animals who have special dietary needs, special medication needs, senior pets, and pets who have physical disabilities and need extra care and aid! I can brush your pet, clean their ears and teeth (if they will let me and it is safe to do so), and give them a simple bath if you would like! Lastly I do have experience in basic behavior training for dogs, including click/reward training to teach sitting, lay down, and release, however I am NOT a professional dog trainer and cannot sit for dogs that experience highly aggressive behaviors or biting towards people. I am currently doing Rover full time, so I will have plenty of time for your pets needs and for playtime, and am able to make sure that bathroom breaks and meal/snack times are not spaced too far apart :) For house sitting I cannot stay full time around the clock as I often have doctors appointments I need to attend, so I may have to come and go, but I would not be gone for longer than 3-4 hours at any given time, so if your fur baby can be alone for 3-4 hours, then I can accommodate for that 😊 I make sure to closely follow any given instructions for pet care, including instructions for a special diet or medications, and if the pet needs any special needs care or aid with grooming! I like to go over the details with clients of how their pet may like to play, how they get along with other animals/people, how they like to be pet, how they do on walks, what their favorite snacks are, and of course any special needs such as oral medications, special dietary needs, etc… to make sure that I am offering the highest quality of care and comfortability for their fur baby! I also make sure to pay close attention to timing between meals, snacks and potty breaks so their pets don’t become uncomfortable or have any accidents. Lastly, I make sure to give lots of love and attention to their pet so they don’t feel lonely!
