About: My name is Holly. I am an animal lover! I grew up on a farm, so I am familiar with care of many types of animals. I have never not had a dog in my life. I have a flexible schedue, own my own home, work remotely full-time , and am very dependable. When house sitting, i do prefer stays less than 4 days, but willing to consider longer stays. I'm looking forward to meeting and caring for your furry loved ones! Why I love dog sitting I have had at least 1 dog my whole life. I've had breeds ranging from Chihuahuas, to Boxers, to Bull Terriers. Dogs are a blessing and I love having them in my life. I will administer pills and liquid drops, but not shots. About: Im am the proud owner of two fur babies. My oldest cat is 11 years old, I've had him since he was 4 months old. I believe he chose me. I adopted him when i was going through a personal lost and he brought me so much joy. My second fur baby was adopted at 2 months old when her mom abandoned her, as she assumed she would never make it in the world but my sweet girl is now 4 years old and thriving. I stand out from other pet sitters because not only have a had cats for years but with my family & I have had fish, turtles, doves, parakeets, dogs( Great Dane, Terrier, chihuahua), and a Guinea pig. I believe it gives me a variety of experience above a-lot of others. My pets have been in my family for their entire lives and I believe pets are truly apart of the family and should be adored as such! I am awoken daily by my two lovely cats. I start my day by opening the blinds and curtains so my babies can sun bathe. Then i head to the bathroom the clean their litter box. Next comes their feedings. My cats are what you can considered spoiled lol. they have a filtered water fountain, and two different food bowls EACH (one for dry food and one for wet). My day begins and ends with checking on them. I don't not have a fenced in yard because I live in an apartment, but we have designated restroom areas for pets. So, I will need a harness/leash to take them out. I allow my pets on my furniture so your pets would be allowed on my furniture as well.
About: I’ve been pet sitting for about 6 years now. It started with neighbors and family friends, and it’s kind of just grown from there which is how I ended up here on Rover! I’ve cared for all kinds of pets, from puppies to senior dogs to cats with unique personalities. I always make sure your pets are well taken care of and that your home is respected while you’re away. I’m comfortable giving medications, sticking to any routines, going on walks, and making sure your pet feels just as comfortable as they are when you’re there! When I care for pets, whether it’s in my home or a client’s. I do my best to make them feel safe, loved, and right at home. I always stick to their usual routines and follow any instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding, walks, or playtime. I’m used to giving daily medication too. My own family dog takes an allergy pill every day, so I understand how important it is to stay on schedule. One of the dogs I regularly sit for also needs medication before bed, and I always make sure it’s given.
About: I have always had a dog or some type of pet! They very much are like family. I currently have 3 cats on of which who has adhd and has to take meds every day. I do have the ability to run around in dogs to get their energy out! I have a pretty flexible schedule so I can move anything around, especially if it’s a walk for the morning! If it’s afternoon, if I know within a decent timeframe, I can always make other arrangements to be able to walk your four-legged family member! At this time I am not offering in home pet sitting. I will however ensure that all safety measures that the pet family has in place are applied. For walks I always make sure to stop walking if no side walk is available when a car passes.
