“Cat sitter or cat photographer!? Along with keeping us updated after every visit, Anna sent us some amazing pictures of our kitties. Overall 10/10 experience, she took great care of our cats!”

“Elizabeth did a great job taking care of my pets! She went above and beyond- cleaning up a mess my cat made so it wouldn’t stain while I was away. I will definitely use her again!”

“Parris was absolutely amazing with Mason! She took such great care of him and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Mason can be a little particular, and she handled everything perfectly, from his routine to all the little details that come with him. I could tell he was comfortable and well cared for the entire time. She was reliable, communicative, and just overall wonderful to work with. I would 100% trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable sitter. Thank you again, Parris!”

“We cannot say enough good things about Kristen! She was dependable, a great communicator, administered medication flawlessly, and became a safe person for our cat while we were away. He absolutely loved her and we will definitely be reaching out again!”

“Mackenzie is wonderful! She took photos of my cats so I could see they were eating...not really an issue, but you know.... She also watered plants and brought in the mail...and during a rainstorm she checked for a leak (older home here) and then txted back and forth to sort out where to find a bucket to catch drips until I got home. I whole- heartedly recommend her.”

“I highly recommend Tara as a pet sitter. She watched my 4 cats over the holidays. She provided excellent care, ensuring they were fed, played with, and received the attention they needed. She also gave our oldest kitty medication during her visits. Tara's reliability and genuine love for animals make her the perfect choice for anyone seeking a trustworthy sitter!”

“Isabel is kind and easy to work with. She took excellent care of my older dog (parson Russel mix) with drop in visits while we attended a wedding. Quick to respond. Left home in excellent order. Will book with her again. Thank you Isabel!!!”

About: I grew up with big and small dogs and I am comfortable with any breed or age. I also have taken care of cats since I was young. I currently own a 13 year old tuxedo cat named Barri. Currently have full summer availability for pet care. Starting August 24th I will begin my fall college schedule at Kent State University and I will be unavailable for booking for 2 weeks. I am comfortable visiting any type of housing to care for your pet, whether it is a quick pee break or a long play date to keep your furry friend company.
“Thank you Rebekah for taking such good care of Riley. I really appreciated your pictures and updates. And thanks for introducing us to that doggy YouTube channel. We will definitely use you again if we need a dog sitter.”

“She took EXCELLENT care of my puppy! Loved that we did a meet and greet before hand so that she could be semi familiar with my puppy and I. She left great reports and pics too. Glad to know my puppy was in good hands! 100 percent recommend!”
“So glad I came across Lindsay, I had to head out of town last minute and she came in clutch. We weren’t able to do a meet and greet beforehand but we were able to figure something out and everything turned out fine. Will definitely keep her mind for the future!”
About: I have had dogs my whole life. I currently own a Catahoula Leopard dog and an Australian Cattle dog. I have been dog sitting since I was 14 and love taking care of/ walking dogs. I am currently a college student on summer break so I have a completely free schedule. I am free to walk or pet sit any time! I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs who are well socialized. My dogs are 4 and 1 years old and are medium sized dogs.
“I was away in Europe for a month, and Hayley took care of my cat with her sitting sessions, putting my worries at ease. Her communication is amazing and she was always reachable. I highly recommend Hayley and would love to work with her again.”

About: I can sit and board during any holiday! I am new to the site, so that is why I do not have any reviews. I try to respond in less than thirty minutes. In the evening, I usually respond within a few minutes. I walk on a daily basis personally and am used to taking dogs on walks at least a few times a day. I have worked with all different breeds and do my research on breed specifications before taking care of any animal. I have helped taken care of animals that have to receive oral and injections daily. I have taken care of all ages of animals from babies to seniors. I have owned dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, and rabbits. I currently do not own any animals, so that I can focus on your pets. I do usually send updates/pictures during the time your pet is with me, so that you know how they are doing I work as a nurse full time Monday through Friday. I started work usually no earlier than 745 am and am done no later than 5 pm. I have an hour long lunch break. I board on weekends so that I can be with your animal 24/7. I can dog sit throughout the week and dogs will receive a morning and evening walk as well as a lot of love and affection. I can do dog walking in the evening and if you live in the Fairlawn/Montrose area, I can do drop in visits between 12 pm-1 pm. I keep my availability up to date on this calendar as well. I live in a two bedroom apartment, but I live near a dog park I can take them to and can take them out every hour or two during the weekend if the board with me. I would take them on at least one walk minimum whether staying at my apartment or taking care of them at yours. The walks can vary from an half an hour to an hour or more depending on the dog and how your dog is feeling. I always ask their feeding schedule and an dietary restrictions. At my home, I have intellectual toys as well as just typical toys. If allowed, dogs and cats are more than welcome to sleep in bed with me. I allow animals on my furniture and have locks on cabinets to ensure they cannot get anything to harm them. I keep treats and food at my apartment. For walks, I have a hands free leash that goes around waist, so that way there is not a chance that the leash slips out of my hands.

Parris was fantastic! Our geriatric cat requires medication and extra care for her illnesses but we felt she was in the best of hands in Parris’ care. She was consistently punctual and communicative, and she went above and beyond. She took amazing care of our girl and we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation. We are so grateful for Parris and will absolutely book her again!

Parris was so helpful. This was our first Rover experience, and I can’t imagine it having gone better! She was flexible and understanding as well as patient with our cats. She was able to capture some fantastic photos of our kitties which were so nice to see while we were gone. Would highly recommend Parris!

Alexandra was so easy to work with! She is punctual, thorough and took very good care of my two cats. They warmed up to her right away. She sent regular updates with several pictures each time and they always looked happy during her visits. I’ll definitely try rebooking her for my next trip!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Brimfield. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
