About: My name is Holly. I am an animal lover! I grew up on a farm, so I am familiar with care of many types of animals. I have never not had a dog in my life. I have a flexible schedue, own my own home, work remotely full-time , and am very dependable. When house sitting, i do prefer stays less than 4 days, but willing to consider longer stays. I'm looking forward to meeting and caring for your furry loved ones! Why I love dog sitting I have had at least 1 dog my whole life. I've had breeds ranging from Chihuahuas, to Boxers, to Bull Terriers. Dogs are a blessing and I love having them in my life. I will administer pills and liquid drops, but not shots. I work remotely, so I am fully available to your pet. No children or anyone else in the house, so if your dog or cat needs a relaxing stay, I can provide that.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for about 6 years now. It started with neighbors and family friends, and it’s kind of just grown from there which is how I ended up here on Rover! I’ve cared for all kinds of pets, from puppies to senior dogs to cats with unique personalities. I always make sure your pets are well taken care of and that your home is respected while you’re away. I’m comfortable giving medications, sticking to any routines, going on walks, and making sure your pet feels just as comfortable as they are when you’re there! There really isn’t much I haven’t experienced when it comes to caring for animals. You can feel confident knowing they’re in good hands!! I’m currently working part time. I work two-four days a week for about five hour shifts so I have plenty of time to tend to your pets needs and make sure they’re getting the care they deserve. Outside of work I’m mostly home and have a lot of free time throughout my days. I also attend college fully online and am working towards my bachelor’s degree in marketing. When I care for pets, whether it’s in my home or a client’s. I do my best to make them feel safe, loved, and right at home. I always stick to their usual routines and follow any instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding, walks, or playtime. I’m used to giving daily medication too. My own family dog takes an allergy pill every day, so I understand how important it is to stay on schedule. One of the dogs I regularly sit for also needs medication before bed, and I always make sure it’s given.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was around 8 years old. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. Pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine because I care deeply for my animals and my friends animals as well. When I’m not home spending time with my two emotional support Cats, I am spending time with my best friend, her cat and German Shepherd. We love to take her dog on adventures and explore new hiking trails. Im more focused on dog walking but am conveniently a jack of all trades. I can follow your training advice, or if clients would like I can use positive reinforcement training methods learned from online. I can pet sit, and clean very meticulously. And I can entertain and help socialize your pets with the outside world. I can even give them baths including cats if need be.

About: I’m currently living on campus at my college and I come from a company in my hometown called HomeWard Bound which is a pet-care company that is very similar to Rover. I have many months of experience which lead me to enjoy this job and wanting to continue it when I live on campus. Over the summer I will be mainly free since my priority is occupying my time with taking care of animals and learning more about them! I care with patience and trust. About: i’ve taken care of my own pets since i was young as well as taking care of friends animals when they were on vacation or at work or what not. i’m in nursing school until 3:30 everyday, so after school & weekends on my free time i would love to watch your animals. i live alone with just my 2 kids & they would love it! i have a white board on the wall to remind me what time to take the dogs out or feed them so i remember to take them out every 2 hours.

Besides my grown kids, my pets are my life. I have had plenty of experience with animals from bunnies, ducks, chickens, dogs, cats and horses. I love all animals. About: I have been taking care of dogs most of my life. I am 57. I have done dog training and agility with 2 of our dogs. I have had a puppy and dealt with Senior dogs too. I love to give our dog lots of attention with play time, walking and outdoor activities. I love to take walks and go to other parks too. With the owner's permission, I love to go to the dog park-Bow Wow dog park and the Akron Dog Park. I give your furry one lots of attention with play time-throwing toys-playing fetch with a ball or toy. Letting them have backyard time. We have a fenced in back yard for the dogs to be free. I also will brush your dog and pet them and give them attention, while you are away. I will treat your dog like he/she is my own dog. Another place I will take dogs is Petsmart or Pet Supplies Plus for social interaction and exercise. I am at home and available most days. We have a 20 year-old Son, who also loves dogs! My Husband helps out too, with walks and letting the dogs out in our backyard and is a dog person. Currently, I am not working. I have a knee problem and some medical issues that prevent me from working full time. I have plenty of time to take care of your dog. We love to take walks and go to the dog parks. However, if you prefer your dog not to go to the dog park, that is fine. We could go on walks and let your dog go outside in our backyard. We have lots of dog toys, bones, balls, etc... I do have a walk thru pet gate that I set up to block off the kitchen and dining room area. We will feed our dog and your dog separately in separate rooms. I love to brush and pet dogs. If needed, we could bath your dog too. We are a "dog" type family, that is our preference. We have had fish, hamsters and also a guinea pig in the past. I grew up with a cat in our home, as a child. We will throw ball and toys for the dogs and play with your dog. We have a small crate that is in our garage, however we don't usually use the crate. If we leave the home, depending on the situation, if your dog is destructive or chewing on furniture or other items, then we will crate your dog when we leave for church or a short errand. If you have a calm dog and the dog is not destructive and well mannered, then your dog could stay in the family room area, unless you prefer that your dog is in his crate. We will use 2 dog gates near our steps to go upstairs. We prefer that our dog and other dogs do not go upstairs. As a House Sitter, I would do any needed cleaning up of any messes I make. I would be bringing my own food, as I am gluten free and dairy free. The only thing I would need is some freezer and frigerated space for my food. I would follow your normal routine for your dog or dogs. I do have occasional Dr and therapy appointments, fyi. We have a home in Akron, with a fence in our backyard. We live near a forest, it is a quiet area. We have a small neighborhood, where the street dead ends to a forest. We don't get drive thru traffic, that use our area as a "short cut".

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’ve self-trained my own dogs and I’m comfortable reinforcing basic obedience commands like sit, stay, leave it, and leash manners (especially helpful for puppies and energetic dogs). I also have experience caring for a dog with seizures who requires medication, so I’m confident with administering meds and supporting pets with special routines or extra care needs. In addition to my own pets, I’ve regularly helped neighbors and friends with pet sitting and daily care. I’m attentive, calm, and safety-focused, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. I also groom and bathe my own dogs, and while full grooming isn’t typically part of my services, I’m absolutely willing to help if an urgent situation arises. I’m self-employed and work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate a wide range of needs. I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks and check-ins, including hourly relief when needed, and I can do multiple drop-ins throughout the day. Because I’m home often, I’m also able to give pets consistent attention, supervision, and routine support. Care looks a little different depending on whether I’m in your home or mine, but my top priorities are always safety, routine, and clear communication. I expect to communicate frequently during your pet's visit with me. In my home: For daycare or boarding, I require that dogs are crate trained, since dogs will be crated overnight and anytime I’m not home. I also require up-to-date vaccine records to keep everyone safe. I have two dogs of my own, so I carefully monitor introductions and compatibility. We do have a yard, but it is not fenced, so all outdoor time is supervised and on-leash. In your home: During our meet & greet, we’ll go over your pet’s routine in detail (feeding, potty breaks, walks, medication, etc.). I ask that any important care instructions are also listed in your pet’s Rover profile in writing, so everything is clear and consistent. I’m happy to follow your household routines as close as possible during the visit.

I have experience in obedience training and worked as a professional groomer for both dogs and cats. I was adopted by my 2 fur babies (both rescues) and I frequently watch my grand dogs. Please contact me if you are needing help with your pet(s) during work days or while on vacation. I also have experience in the health care field (for humans) which is helpful in taking care of pets with special needs. I am available most of the time. I’m semi retired and have occasional commitments but will always put your pet as a priority if they are under my care. Am happy to care for your pet! I prefer to have pets crate trained to stay in my home overnight; owner would need to provide the crate. This is just for their safety! I will come to your home to walk, play and feed your pets as desired!

About: All K9 Solutions is fully insured and licensed here in Akron OH. I've been training dogs for 6 years and professionally for 4 years. After I worked for reputable training companies, one here in Akron area as the head trainer, I decided to open my own company called All K9 Solutions. I grew up with dogs, and have experience with cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, chickens, and ducks as I used to manage a farm as well. I personally network all over the US with other dog trainers. One of my recent travels has been to Kansas to help host a working dog workshop with a few small departments. I have two Belgian malinois who I strive for their needs to be met daily. From mental stimulation to physical stimulation while giving them a “job”. My youngest is 3 years old and does many sports (PSA, AKC sports, and has been dabbling in odor work), and my oldest is 10, he’s a retired military explosives K9 who served on the boarder of Jordan up until 7 years old. Both the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. All of my dogs have off leash obedience training that is kept up with. I have a background in dog training, boarding, and daycare; from puppies all the way to seniors. I strive for knowledge with dogs as there’s always new information to learn and dogs aren’t cookie cutter. I’m also an STSK9 MVP student for advanced obedience. I’m very passionate about teaching others about dogs from genetics and breeds to how their psychology works. My business hours run from 7am-10pm. My availability is open from the afternoon to night time, this way all morning routines are completed, walks, potty breaks, feeding, training sessions etc. All dogs are boarded in a home environment instead of a facility. This way your dogs aren’t as stressed being away from you, and they can comfortably enjoy their vacation too. All dogs are kenneled to ensure safety (not investing anything they shouldn’t, no free roam 24/7 with other client’s dogs you don’t know, and they have their own space to decompress). Since the yard isn't fenced in, all dogs must be leashed with a properly fitted collar with a longline when going outside, a harness, or a slip lead. However, a good peaceful walk with all the smells is always more mental and physical stimulation for the dogs than a fenced in area with limited access. Reactive dogs and fearful dogs are welcome as I have years of experience with them, and training them to grow confidence and obedience. I also have experience with special need's animals. Loud dogs are welcome too. If your dog(s) show healthy body language and do well with other dogs, my two malinois are gentle beings and always love a play mate. Minka especially, she follows the other dog's pace and reads their body language. I do ask that you leave your vet information with me and emergency vet information as well for an emergency contact if ever need be. Better safe than sorry. I also do ask for a second choice of contact incase the primary owner is unable to be reached. All dogs must be up to date on vaccines and bordetella for boarding and daycare. Safety precautions are always taken. For the well being of the dogs and myself. Please note that I do require all important behaviors are made aware of by the owners before hand and I will notify owners upon any concern of sickness or bite risks. I send updates each day as well or will add photos to your rover card.
