Because of my experience as a foster parent, I’m very mindful of each dog’s personality and comfort level. Whether they need extra playtime, space to decompress, or just a lot of love, I adjust my care to fit their needs. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to respect their space and routines while keeping communication open. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being always come first—no matter where they are.

About: Hi- I’m Sam and I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care! I have over 8 years of professional experience in pet care. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and I have never seen a dog I didn't think was cute. But, dogs are more than just a cute face and a unique personality, there is a lot of time and energy that goes into caring for a dog. I have cared for and owned dogs my entire life and I am very passionate about my love for animals. I just started working as a vet assistant and before that I worked at a dog boarding/daycare facility for 7 years. I’ve also volunteered at different animal shelters, cared for special needs pups that have medications/shots during mealtimes, and even earned a certification in pet training. Through my years working with dogs, I've become an expert in dog body language and behavior and I know what goes into making a pup feel safe and loved. Your dog is your family, so I'll make sure I treat them like they are my family too! I work as a vet assistant and have plenty of time to give pups a quick walk/potty break during my lunch but they would have to be okay being alone for around 4 hours at a time. I ensure that I make plenty of time to give your dog the attention and exercise they deserve both before and after that time. Whether it is a long walk in the park, running around with the other pups in the yard, or a game of fetch or tug I'll make sure your pup is fulfilled! I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your pup company. I have crates available when needed, I also use them for meal times and overnight stays. Or if your pup prefers solo play time and attention I have a whole bedroom that will be all theirs.

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life. My mom and I foster bottle-fed kittens—even those as young as one day old. Since I was 16, I’ve been house-sitting dogs, and I’ve even helped a dog through two births and assisted in raising the puppies. I have also house sat animals such as ferrets, bunnies, and ducks so if you have any other animals that need checked on just let me know. Spending time with animals and caring for them brings me so much joy. I am currently in school and working part-time. While I am busy my work shifts are only 4 hours and a lot of my school is online. This makes my schedule very flexible. I care for all pets as if they are my own. I enjoy playing with them and often bring them places with me. Though, if you do not want me to take your pet with me I will not.

We also have two friendly goats on the property—but don’t worry, your pup won’t have to share the couch with them!). I grew up caring for all kinds of pets—dogs, cats, birds—so I know the ropes: feeding, potty breaks, fresh water, and plenty of playtime. I treat every furry guest like family, whether it’s for a quick day visit, overnight stay, or a longer adventure. Your pet will have access to our large, fenced backyard (over half an acre!) for running, playing, and zoomies. There will also be toys, cuddles, and plenty of attention—maybe even a little goat-watching if they’re curious! I’m flexible and available weeknights and weekends, and I’ll make sure your fur baby feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Basically, your pet comes for a stay and leaves with a new fan club. Our family loves and adores all animals, and we hope you meet your fur baby too! •Please note: All dogs entering our home must get along with children (ages 4,6, & 12), must get along with cats, must be on flea treatment and prevention, must be up to date on vaccinations, and house trained. Thank you for your cooperation.• I am currently working part time hours from 8-3 Tuesday - Friday, and I do take my children to school. We are gone from 7:30 am-3:30 pm Tuesday-Friday, and I am home Mondays. I am available in the evenings every day of the week including any time during the weekends. We do attend church on Sundays from 10:30am-1pm. Your furry friend will be treated like royalty! They’ll get plenty of supervised playtime in our huge fenced backyard (over half an acre of zoomie heaven) and all outdoor adventures are leash-approved for safety. Expect belly rubs, snuggles, and maybe a little goat-watching for entertainment. Basically, your pet comes for a stay and leaves with new fans—and maybe a little extra sass from having so much fun!

About: I have worked with animals my whole life I took a 3 year long course on animal behavior and I am majoring in college for zoology I am in college so I am available after 5 on the weekdays except Wednesday I am not available . Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I am available any time I am able to care for any size dog as I have cared for very small dogs to very large dogs and I am able to accommodate any needs that you may have for your dog!
