About: I’ve been taking care of neighborhood dogs and dogs that my parents friends have had since I was in elementary school, and I have an 11 year old miniature poodle mix that I trained myself but I’ve always loved dogs of all breeds. I have experience working with tiny and huge dogs, anxious dogs, reactive dogs, high energy dogs, special needs dogs, untrained dogs, heavy pullers, and puppies of various ages. I’m also quite strong and can handle big/rambunctious/reactive dogs with ease, so you wouldn’t have to worry about whether or not I can safely handle your dog. I’m currently back from college for the summer and don’t have a lot going on (aside from taking care of my own dog) so I’m home and available all day most days (aside from when I occasionally go stay with my long term girlfriend for a weekend or so). I decided to start working with Rover because I love animals and I’m happier when I have such a fun reason to get some exercise and leave my house :) I have a large grassy (and freshly fenced) in backyard to play in and make sure to routinely check the integrity of the fence and that there aren’t any potential hazards in my backyard. My dog is quite the lounge-around-inside-where-it’s-cool type, so if you would want your dog to have some off leash time in my backyard, even reactive and dog aggressive dogs wouldn’t have issues because they wouldn’t be anywhere near my dog. I also make sure to follow house rules and instructions to the letter (and am strictly no shoes in any house ever) and keep my clients updated on how things are going with photos, videos, as well as update messages. All potential clients are encouraged to meet up with me before entrusting their pets to me, and if you have any interest in your dog having some off leash time with me in my backyard I would be more than happy to give you a tour. Not only those things- but any other requests you may have that can help give you peace of mind when it comes to entrusting me with your fluffy loved ones are encouraged.

About: I’ve been a mom to small dogs most my adult life. I currently have a chill 7 lb shih tzu mix that would love company on our two daily walks. I work part-time and am never away for more than 4 hours. (Often my college age son is home when I’m out) I’ve taken care of very young pups as well as older dogs requiring medications and special diets. I’m responsible and loving, doing my best to keep pups content while their people are away. I’m communicative and responsive and provide daily pupdates. I work two to three days a week for no more than 4 hours, so I’m home a lot. I have a 7 year-old shih tzu mix that I walk twice a day so I have a good routine established. My college age son lives with me and is super helpful and responsible. Generally if I’m out, he’s home to give extra potty breaks and belly rubs. My back yard is quite big and securely fenced-lots of room for sniffing! My house is cozy and comfortable-I’m happy to have pups on my lap on the couch and in my bed for the night. I do host up to 3 dogs at a time and have a small pup of my own, so I ask that your dog is well socialized.

“Kina was a great sitter! She was attentive to Finn’s needs considering he was on the last few days of kennel cough. She came for a meet and greet before and hit it off with Finn. When we left I felt comfortable and confident having her in my home and to watch Finn. With frequent updates and pictures I was able to see my baby from far away. She asked permission before taking him to a nature park and then allowed him to have an amazing time as well. I would definitely use Kina again and recommend her to those looking. ?”

I'm currently working on earning my GED while also looking for a part-time job to build experience and stay productive. About: Growing up with both cats and dogs and currently living with our dog Kylo and cat Kala, I have a genuine love for taking care of pets. Love getting out on walks, and with Kylo being a husky, I am definitely used to some leash pulling! We also love a good game of tug-of-war. Working from home, I can be super attentive to your pup’s needs. We have a fenced in yard that they can have access to at anytime throughout the day. While I am not a trainer by any means, I worked with a trainer when we first rescued Kylo that gave me a lot of confidence to work well dogs and understand their behavior more. My first experience dog sitting was for a husky of a family member. We would go on walks, and she loved trying to chase the deer in the neighborhood. Subsequently, the neighbors asked if I would come sit for their Rhodesian Ridgeback, who was just a large ball of energy! I can provide play time and will also ensure that your dog will be comfortable during their stay. I work full time from home but am done with work around 2pm. Working from a computer makes it easy to keep an eye on your dog, be able to take breaks to play and potty, and follow up with lots of good afternoon time. I have a fenced in yard, and Kylo is very friendly and would love to play with your dog. Our cat is kept separate from the dogs.

“Tara did a fantastic job on a rather unusual assignment that I had for her, which involved not only taking care of my adult dog and puppy at my house for three nights, but also taking care of my cousin’s puppy, also at my house during the same time, who had never previously met my dogs. She also had her own dog with her, making it a dog party of four! Everybody had a great time, and Tara sent us photos multiple times a day of the dogs playing and hanging out together. Will definitely be calling her again soon for further jobs!”

No dog is left home alone. We also have a caretaker who tends to the the 2 horses and mini donkey (whom live in separate pastures from the main property, as well as / goats that live in a back pasture. We have a fully fenced 8 acre property with a four ft fence. Dogs are free to have access to entire property as well as free range indoors. We have a very comfortable home with a large wrap around deck and 5 exits. So it’s in/out all day as much as any dog wants/needs. It’s truly doggie heaven here and most people want to stay themselves when they drop off their dogs. We don’t care for more than 2 at a time.
