“Lorelei is such a great host! I have boarded my puppy with her about 5 or 7 times over the course of December 2015 and January 2016 and I can only say great things about her. Her apt is very welcoming to dogs as she always has fellow playmates around and has a patio area where they can eliminate. One time, my puppy jumped off the furniture wrong and had hurt himself. She called me immediately and also did the courtesy of contacting DogVacay’s own vet for advice. My experience of Lorelei is that she is very attentive to the dogs and cares for them as if they are her own. As a bonus, Lorelei also wrote me thank you cards! I have booked with someone else when she wasn’t available and now I have learned that if you’re going to book on DogVacay, choose Lorelei!”

About: Hi, my name is Amber-rae, I am 22 years old and animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — I’ve cared for everything from barnyard animals to beloved family pets since I was 9 years old. Dogs have always been by my side, and I welcomed my very own pup into my life at just 10 years old. With a lifetime of experience, I know how to keep tails wagging, paws moving, and pets happy, safe, and loved. We’ve got two beautiful boy cats at home who are our only pets at the moment. But i often care for my mothers dogs, she has 6 of them, four little Havaneese and two giant mastiffs At home our cats have free roam or the house and are only sometimes locked in their bedroom (the bathroom) because that’s where their food and litter box is. They’re given plenty snuggles and love, especially from my daughter, they love to play and cuddle on her bedroom floor. As for a clients animal, I will follow whichever routine is given for each animal (cat or dog) Whether it’s playing fetch, simply feeding them or going for a walk.

About: What is a home without a dog? I have always had a dog- or a few dogs. They make life good. I live with my husband and our two teenage daughters. We are a fun loving family of four, living on a small (wanna be) farm with our dog Larry and a flock of hens. Larry was a rescue from the humane society- and despite her rough start, she is ridiculous sweet. She can be both playful and lazy- a great combination for a playdate. The house yard is dog friendly- very large and fully fenced. My home is equally dog friendly- relaxed with plenty of room to get comfortable. I have a work from home situation, so your furry friend/family member will get plenty of love and good attention. I (and my family) are very animal - and people- focused. About: I have been sitting dogs and cats since I was old enough to have a phone. Also I am currently working on getting a training certificate and would love to help reinforce any of your commands. My current dog is 100lbs so I'm comfortable with all sizes I am currently doing intake for a new job, so have free time all week long to take care of your babies at home or away. I have a large yard fenced in my 4ft fencing and a gentile older dog to keep yours company. On walks I stick to roads and parks I know. Unless requested I avoid dog parks for the safety of your dog, but know some popular paths for socializing.

I also have a fully fenced yard, if you and your dog are searching for warm, comfortable overnight accommodations. I have plenty of dog beds for comfort, I use all naturally made and healthy dog treats. I have a fully fenced yard which is occasionally visited by brave squirrels, so activity and amusement is plentiful. There are a number of toys, ropes, balls, bones and other chew toys for those dogs who simply need some time to chew and think about life in general. Dogs are put out when they need it, and let in when it’s time to nap. Just as it should be.
