“SO fabulous! Caroline is the best dog sitter. We’ve hired her twice so far to care for our little rescue dog while we were away on vacation. Our dog gets pretty anxious when we leave. She takes such great care of him! She’s particularly good about sending photos/videos for each visit and a message about how our fur baby is doing. Punctual, responsible, and so kind!”

About: Hi! My name is Van and I'm a lifelong dog lover and experienced pet caregiver. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family member. I used to have a dog myself, so I understand their unique needs whether it’s high energy walks, gentle strolls for seniors, or extra patience with puppies. I provide attentive, loving care and make sure every walk is fun, safe and tailored to your pup’s personality. I fit dog care/walking into my day alongside with rebuilding my baking business in a new city. I genuinely love being around dogs! Right now, it's just a side gig, but I’d love for it to become a bigger part of my routine. Getting outside, spending time with pups, and making sure they’re happy and cared for is something I really enjoy! It also gives me my puppy fix since I probably won't own one for awhile. I focus on making your pup feel comfortable, safe, and loved. For walks, I tailor to their energy/pace level and make sure they get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and attention. During drop-in visits, I ensure they have food, fresh water, potty breaks and lots of affection and playtime. My goal is to provide dependable, caring service so you can have peace of mind.

About: Hi, I'm Mia! I love pups of all personalities and energy levels! I've had dogs for most of my life, and I've dog-sat for friends and family for the past 4 years. I'll be sure to treat your fur baby with the utmost kindness, respect, and compassion. I'm also comfortable with bully breeds! I'm a graduate student, so my schedule is very flexible! Usually, I keep my early mornings and evenings free, but I'm also happy to drop by in the middle of the day for potty or play time (or much needed stress relief for myself!). My schedule’s flexibility is amenable to last minute bookings and cancellations too. I love all animals, and approach each with respect, care, and patience. I am happy to send photos of your fur baby each time I stop by, take pups for a short walk around the neighborhood, or a longer walk too. Overall, I hope to be a positive addition to your pet's environment :)

About: I have had pets for as long as I could remember. Although my family started with small animals at first, when I was in high school, we got our first cat, a Scottish Fold named Cali! Now I have two dogs, Taco and Willow, and a snake, Java. I am also currently a vet student and have worked in the veterinary field for about 5 years. I have also been in the animal care industry for about 6 years. With my experience, you can rest assured that someone experienced in animal care, animal behavior, and veterinary medicine is taking wonderful care of your dog! Asides from knowing how to perform medical procedures for animals, I also love to train dogs. I’m very interested in behavioral medicine and enjoy training my own two little ones. Taco is task-trained by myself alone. Do you have a behaviorally complex or reactive dog? No worries! I have experience handling reactive and anxious dogs, even having managed to train one to be able to walk on the same side of the street as other dogs! All of my background and knowledge will help me take the best care of your family members! *Please note that on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I am only available past 5. On most Tuesdays and Thursdays, I am free in the morning until noon. For this reason, I offer the best quality care for lower prices!* I am currently a student working part-time, so my current weekday availability is after 5:30 PM (though my weekend schedule is far more flexible). Going on walks and stopping by to care for animals is a great way for me to destress so you’ll know that I am enjoying my time with you loved ones and thus are taking the best care of them! I understand how to read animal body language very well from all of my years working in the vet industry. I know how to approach both confident and fearful animals, as I have a slightly anxious girl myself. I always use treats, attention, and toys as a way to gain their trust and strongly believe in positive reinforcement training, as well as a fear free approach. I know how to ensure that the room is dog/cat-proofed and what signs to look out for should your pet not be feeling well. Important to note that I am fear free certified!

“Susana is amazing at our daily dog walks and is always available for texts if I need to let her know something about our dogs. Our dogs love her and look forward to Their lunch time walks with her! I cannot say enough good things, she is trustworthy, punctual and overall amazing to work with!”

About: With two decades of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, I’ve seen it all—from high-energy puppies to mellow seniors. I’ve walked, trained, fed, medicated, and comforted pets like they were my own. Whether it’s a daily walk, overnight stay, or just extra attention while you're away, I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and understood. Caring for pets is built into my day—thanks to my own dog, Blu, a playful 1-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer who keeps me on my toes. From early morning walks to afternoon fetch and evening training sessions, my routine revolves around giving him structure, exercise, and love. That same energy and commitment naturally extends to every dog I care for. Whether in my home or yours, my top priority is making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I treat every dog like family, making sure they have the structure, playtime, and affection they need. In my home, I provide a clean, dog-friendly space where pets can relax and play safely—alongside my own friendly pup, Blu. If I’m in your home, I respect your space and routines, making sure your dog feels right at home while you’re away.

She made it on time and kept in constant contact with me giving me piece of mind since we were out of town for the day. We will defiantly have Tanya back for walks and I booked an overnight stay next month for Ava at her place, so much better than having to board her! Thank you so much Tanya!!”

About: Hello! My name is Megan. I live with my 1 year old golden retriever, Matcha, and my fiance, Zack, in our spacious apartment in Irvine. We LOVE dogs, all sizes, all breeds, all personalities, and we’d love to meet and care for yours! I personally have 3 years of veterinary assistant experience, so I am no stranger to proper and safe dog handling, especially in times of emergencies. I currently work fully remote as an HR Specialist at a medical device company, so I will be home all day to watch your furry friend. We live on the first floor, so our apartment is also senior dog/disabled dog friendly. We have a patio, and our community has a lot of beautiful green belts and walking trails nearby (your pup will have LOTS of fun). We also have a dog park inside the community, too! Our friends and family consider us their designated dogsitter because we just love dogs so much! We are native to Orange County and are serving clients within OC. We are very much looking forward to hosting your pup(s)! Pet care is second nature to me. I feed my dog twice a day and relieve her at least 5 times a day (2 of which are 30 minute walks or park time). I also wipe my dog’s paws every time after she goes outside. Dog walking: I keep them close on a short leash to ensure their safety, and we will always walk on the sidewalk. Dog boarding: My priority is to make your dog feel at home, safe, loved, and happy. I love to give cuddles, but if your dog doesn’t like that, that’s fine too! Your dog will be allowed on my couch and bed. Mi casa es su casa!

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life! I got my first dog when I was 4 and another when I was 11 whom I have taken care of on my own for weeks when family has gone on vacation. I’ve also taken care of friends and neighbors pets as well. Although I am new to using rover, I am fully experienced with taking care of all kinds of pets ;) I am a college student currently but have plenty of time around my classes to care for your pet! I am free all days of the week to pop in here and there. When outside, your fur baby will always stay on a leash and I make sure that they are safe at all times. I understand how to read cues from pets to know whether they feel trusted or scared and will do my best to make them feel most comfortable!

“Jason is great! He takes the time to learn about your dog and adapts to them. He's prompt and very communicative. I will definitely use him again.”

Mia B.
“First of all. I’m one of those dog owners who loves loves their dogs and they are my whole life. I try to take them with me wherever I go but sometimes that’s not possible. I’ve had Mia watch my two dogs many times and she has always exceeded my expectations. She has established her own relationship with my two fur babies and always cared for them like her own. She would be timely with feeding and walking as we discussed. I loved it when Mia would send pictures of them having fun all on her own. It helped with my vacation guilt. Mia is super trustworthy and I allowed her in my home when I wasn’t there. I always came home to happy dogs. Thank you Mia!”

Laura M.
“To say Laura is a responsible and loving animal caregiver is an understatement. She’s the proud mom of a high-energy 2-year-old Australian Shepherd and an affectionate 6-month-old domestic shorthair kitten. Two animals with very different personalities who genuinely adore one another. If that doesn’t speak volumes about her dedication, patience, and consistency as a pet parent, I don’t know what does! Aussies in particular aren’t for the faint of heart—they require constant exercise, mental stimulation, and affection. Laura goes above and beyond to meet those needs, no matter how long her day has been. Her pets always come first. She’s also cared for my thirteen-year-old Chiweenie, who can be a bit grumpy and set in his ways. Laura was incredibly gentle and attentive with him, making sure he got his walks, plenty of belly rubs, and personalized care. In his old age, he developed a heart condition—Laura even took the time to research food alternatives and dietary options that might help. She’s the kind of person you can trust not only to care for your pets, but to treat them like her own. I can’t recommend her enough—your furry companions will be in the very best hands with Laura.”

Yumo W.
“To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to wholeheartedly recommend Yumo as a trusted and caring pet sitter on Rover. I have known Yumo for many years, and during that time, I have seen her care for animals with an exceptional level of love, patience, and responsibility. Yumo has over 10 years of hands-on experience with dogs, and her approach is always calm, gentle, and attentive. She understands that each pet has its own personality and needs, and she takes the time to make them feel safe, happy, and comfortable. Whether it’s feeding on schedule, taking them for outdoor walks, or simply spending time playing and cuddling, Yumo treats every pet as if they were her own. What truly stands out about Yumo is her sense of responsibility. She communicates promptly, sends regular updates with photos or videos, and always ensures the pet’s environment is safe, clean, and stress-free. She is also attentive to any special instructions or dietary needs, which makes pet owners feel completely at ease while they are away. I have full confidence that any pet in Yumo’s care will receive the highest standard of attention and affection. She is trustworthy, reliable, and genuinely passionate about animals. Rover would be fortunate to have her as part of the community. Sincerely, Cain Tang”

Michael A.
“Mike is truly a gem! From the first meet-and-greet, I could tell he genuinely cares about dogs. He took the time to get to know my pup’s quirks, routine, and energy level. While I was away, he sent daily updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. When I got home, my dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It’s not easy finding someone you can fully trust with your pet—but Mike is that person. I won’t book with anyone else!”

Twinkle G.

Megan L.
“I can’t think of anyone more perfect for Rover than Megan. She has a natural gift with animals—especially dogs—and her love for them shines through in everything she does. She’s worked as a vet tech for many years, so she brings a level of knowledge, professionalism, and calm that’s rare to find. On top of that, she has a close circle of veterinarian friends she can always lean on for support or advice if needed, which gives an added layer of reassurance. Megan has also been a volunteer at Goldie Palooza for the last five years, and has spent time working part-time at animal shelters off PCH. Whether she’s helping in a clinical setting, volunteering at events, or walking neighborhood pups, she always treats each animal with so much care, patience, and attention. She’s handled everything from energetic puppies to anxious rescues to senior dogs who need a little extra TLC—and she does it all with warmth and ease. What really sets Megan apart is her intuition with animals—she picks up on their needs, personalities, and quirks right away. She’s incredibly responsible, detail-oriented, and communicative, which makes working with her an absolute dream. Any dog (or dog parent!) would be lucky to have Megan in their lives.”

Kassie K.
“Kassie took care of my dog for two weeks while I was on vacation. I have a small poodle who absolutely loved Kassie. She did an amazing job with feeding, playing, and taking my dog on walks. She was also very respectful in my home and very trustworthy. I will definitely be booking her again for when I am away!”

Quail Hill dog parents share their Rover experiences
Weiliang and his wife were absolutely amazing with our dog! We’ve boarded our pup many times before, but this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had. They kept us updated with the sweetest photos and messages, making it clear our furry friend was having a blast. They even took her to the park to run around and made sure she got all the love and attention (and probably a few extra belly rubs 😊). When we picked her up, she looked so happy and relaxed, like she had her own little vacation🤣We’re super grateful for their outstanding care, and we’ll always book with them.
