I treat every dog in my care with the same attention, affection, and responsibility I would give my own. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so pet care fits very easily into my day. I can be home throughout the day for company, feeding, bathroom breaks, and check-ins rather than leaving pets alone for long stretches. Your pet’s comfort and safety would be my priority. I live in an apartment, but I have two fenced-in patio areas for safe outdoor time, and I can also provide supervised walks and activity during the day. I’m careful about following each pet owner’s routine and instructions so their dog feels as comfortable and settled as possible. I’m also happy to send updates and photos while your pet is with me. I know it can feel nerve-wracking to trust someone else with your pet, so I carry pet-care insurance through Pet Sitters Associates for added peace of mind. My coverage applies to the services I offer, including sitting, walks, drop-ins, and boarding at my apartment, and includes expanded coverage for client pets plus additional property/bond coverage. My priority is always careful, attentive care, but having proper insurance in place is one more way I try to make the experience feel safe, professional, and reassuring for pet parents.

About: Seems like there has always been a pet in my life. I started out with Erby, a beautiful green parakeet that used to sit on the rim of my eyeglasses and look at me upside down. He passed away a million years ago and we buried him underneath the pecan tree. Then there was Scooter, my pet turtle. My dad built him his own "swimming hole" from concrete and included a sunning rock and a wire enclosure. His favorite food was raw hamburger meat. "Dogbone" (you are what you eat) was my first dog. He just adopted us one day when he came into our yard and wouldn't leave. No collar, no means of identifying his owner (chips weren't a thing back then), and no response to posters saying he had landed on our doorstep. The fact that we kids kept feeding him probably had something to do with him not wanting to go anywhere else. Throughout the years there have been numerous other cats and dogs. All special. All occupy a place in my heart. Should you entrust me with your special friend, I'll look after them like they were my own. I'm retired now so my schedule is my own. I need to exercise more so it would be my pleasure to have a companion to walk with. I attend a number of Zoom classes throughout the week so I'm at home to share my learning time with your pet. I have a good-sized back yard that your dog will love to run circles in. It's fenced and locked so there's no concern about anybody getting out or being taken. When inside, animals are welcome on the couch, but not the bed (that's where I draw the line). Animals are fed in the kitchen (but usually wind up carrying food into other rooms; why do they do that?). We have an alarm system and cameras that cover all exterior entrances. Your pet will be safe with us. I'm retired, so I can devote full-time to making sure your fur baby receives the special care and attention they deserve. Your vacation is their staycation. Your pets will be safe here: from the fenced back yard, to the security cameras, to the supervised play in the back yard, your pet's safety is our paramount concern.

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was able to walk! We’ve always had dogs, and cats since I was born and loved every second of it! I currently work for myself — and almost exclusively work remotely so I spend a majority of my day at home and have the flexibility to get up at a moments notice! While I live in a gated townhouse community — there are large areas for dogs to roam/bathroom/play! Furniture is always on limits so always comfortable. No loud noises and no smoking!

About: As a pet care taker myself of a 13 year old 5 lb Chihuahua, 4 year old 20 lb Dachshund, and a 9 year old 120 lb Chocolate Labrador Retriever, I love spending most of my time with my little family. Since moving away to college and them staying with my parents, I am looking to help other people with their fur-babies. I have trained all of my current and previous dogs at a young age making well mannered, and with owning such an old dog, I know how to correctly handle a senior pup that needs attention. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I am available to assist however I can. I am a full time student at University of North Texas with early classes which means I have plenty of availability throughout the day for anyone to contact me. Although I am not a familiar face in their life, I will walk them around places that they find familiar such as their neighborhood in order to bring them tranquility and comfort when meeting a new person such as myself.

About: I've loved dogs and cats ever since I was a little girl. My family and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their pets, and I always enjoy spending time with them! I currently work hybrid from 9am-5pm, so I am able to take care of your pet throughout the day for most of the week. When I do go into the office, I will make sure to make your pet my priority before I leave and when I'm back. 😊 I make sure that they are well fed and well rested! I try to stick to their daily routine as much as possible, to keep them comfortable and happy!
