About: I have grown up my whole life with pets including cats and dogs. I currently have a black lab and my family has 5 dogs that I frequently walk and watch. I also dog sit my friend’s golden retriever regularly. I am going back to school online and have a work from home schedule so I frequently let our dog out on walks throughout the day! I am available for boarding on weekends and all weekdays. I live in an apartment complex with a quiet neighborhood feel, dog park, and rose garden for getting steps in. We have a 6 year old black lab who loves playing with other pups!

About: I currently work at an animal shelter and have over two years of professional experience in animal care. I am highly attention to each animal that I oversee and I care deeply for all of them. I monitor them for an medical or behavioral issues and am highly attention to every animals specific needs. I have worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. Personally, I have had dogs and cats all my life. I have taken care of all of them, walking, training, bathing, medicating them as needed. I have also pet sit for friends and family in the past both dogs and cats. I will make sure you pet is given the highest quality treatment which is exactly what they deserve! Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday I have availability in the late afternoon as I work these days. Wednesday-Friday and Sunday I am available all day! I will care for your dog or cat within your home with whatever treats and toys are provided. For dogs, I always have a water bowl and a water bottle on walks as well as treats. If you have a yard, I can take your dog outside to play, and if not then I can entertain your pet inside.

About: I’ve had many pets throughout my life and grew up having cats and dogs. I currently have a chihauhau named Dolly and a chiweenie named Dixie. I’ve been a pet-sitter for family, friends, and acquaintances over the years. I occasionally volunteer at an animal shelter and play with the dogs and cats. It’s a joy helping out in that way and I love giving the animals all the attention that they need. I mainly have experience taking care of dogs and cats but also fish, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I've been pulled, I've been leaned on, and I've been slobbered on. I know what to expect. Here's what makes me different from a lot of the sitters you'll see on here: I run regularly, and I go to the gym almost every day. That's not just a personal habit I'm mentioning to fill space; it means your dog gets a walker who wants to move, who isn't checking the clock, and who will happily go the extra block if your dog still has zip left in the tank. A tired dog is a happy dog, and I take that seriously. What happens when I'm with your dog: I show up on time, I read their energy before we start (some dogs want to bolt out the door, some need a minute to sniff the porch first), and I match the walk to what they need that day, a brisk energy burner or a slower sniff-heavy stroll. I send photo updates during the walk, so you're not left wondering what's going on. You'll get a picture of your dog looking happy, tired, or mid-adventure, plus a quick note on how it went; bathroom breaks, any dogs or people we passed, anything you should know. I also speak Spanish, if that's helpful for your household or for any instructions you'd rather explain in Spanish. I know hiring someone new, with no reviews, feels like a risk. I'd feel the same way in your position. What I can offer instead of reviews is this: I will be completely upfront with you before, during, and after every walk. If you've got a dog with extra energy, an active breed, or just a pup who needs more than a lazy lap around the block, I think we'd be a great match. I'm not doing this halfway, I actually want to be out there walking, rain or shine, and I want your dog to end the walk happier and more worn out than when we started. My schedule: I am currently a full-time university student, so I'm consistently free after 4pm on weekdays, and open pretty much all day on weekends. This means you get someone who's available right when you're getting home from a long day and your dog has been waiting all day for a walk. I live in an apartment with a dog park in front of it, which means if you ever need a walk that turns into a little yard time, or a quick water break mid-route, I've got the space for it. I have a car, but honestly, I'd rather work with dogs nearby; less time driving means more time actually walking, and it means I can be flexible if you need me on short notice.
