“If I had to describe John in one word, it would be “amazing.” We are new to Dallas and needed someone to walk our two dogs on very short notice, and John was kind enough to step in and help. Our dogs are not difficult, but they definitely have their own personalities. One is a 120 lb German Shepherd who loves chasing squirrels (and climb trees to meet their families), rabbits, and sometimes even butterflies, and he also thinks he needs to make friends with every dog he sees. Our other one is an 18 lb Shih Tzu who is a little pampered and does not like walking in the sun. What really stood out to us was how patient, caring, and thoughtful John was with both of them. During the first couple of days, when our Shih Tzu decided he was done walking after finishing his business, John actually picked him up and carried him while continuing the walk because our German Shepherd still wanted more time outside. For the last few days, he even walked them separately so each of them could get the individual attention they needed. That level of care says a lot about John. He was always on time, courteous, respectful, responsible, and genuinely loving toward our dogs. We are very thankful for his help and would definitely look forward to having him take care of our boys again in the future.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and small pets. I started helping care for my grandmother’s dog when I was around 10 years old, so being around animals has always been a natural part of my life. About three years ago, I helped a friend care for their 3-year-old Shiba Inu for a full month. Shibas are independent and strong-willed, so I learned quickly how important patience, consistency, and clear boundaries are. It was a great experience and deepened my confidence with medium-sized, high-energy dogs. Currently, I’m a proud pet parent to two cats and two guinea pigs. During each visit, I make sure pets have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes or enclosures as needed, and plenty of attention based on their personality and comfort level. I understand that some pets love playtime and interaction, while others prefer a calm and gentle presence. I pay close attention to changes in appetite, energy level, behavior, and overall well-being, and I will promptly communicate any concerns. I also provide updates and photos so pet parents can have peace of mind while they're away. About: I live in a community where a few of my neighbors will call me to drop by and walk/feed their dogs if they have to stay late at work or have other commitments. I also have friends and family that reach out to me with any help they might need with their babies. I currently work a flexible part-time job, so I have a lot of time to spend with your pets! About: As a pet care taker myself of a 13 year old 5 lb Chihuahua, 4 year old 20 lb Dachshund, and a 9 year old 120 lb Chocolate Labrador Retriever, I love spending most of my time with my little family. Since moving away to college and them staying with my parents, I am looking to help other people with their fur-babies. I have trained all of my current and previous dogs at a young age making well mannered, and with owning such an old dog, I know how to correctly handle a senior pup that needs attention.
