About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years, starting with my family’s German Shepherds, who I’ve helped raise from puppies. I was heavily involved in their early training and have continued to help care for them as they’ve grown into senior dogs. We typically take 2–3 mile walks every day, so I’m very comfortable with active dogs and making sure they get plenty of exercise and attention. I’ve also regularly house-sat and cared for my uncle’s dog, Bo, for over 10 years. We have a special bond, and he’s especially responsive to me and my uncle. More recently, I’ve been helping with my uncle’s Australian Shepherd puppy, including feeding, playtime, fetch, tug-of-war, and early leash training. I’m new to Rover, but caring for dogs has been a part of my life for years. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies who need lots of play and patience to older dogs who appreciate a slower pace, routine, and plenty of companionship. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their people are away. I’m currently working remotely and freelance, so I have a flexible schedule. I reserve my mornings for meetings, but I’m typically available after 11am. Feel free to reach out whenever during the day! Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or in their own home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and secure. I like to “read the room” and pay attention to each pet’s personality, body language, and comfort level rather than assuming every pet needs the same kind of care. I also believe in maintaining a pet’s normal routine as much as possible. If they have a particular feeding schedule, sleeping arrangement, favorite spot, or other comforts, I’ll do my best to keep those routines consistent while they’re in my care. I have experience with crate training as well. When my family’s German Shepherds were puppies, they each had their own crate, bed, and blankets. We treated their crates as safe, comfortable spaces—not as punishment. I’m also currently around an Australian Shepherd puppy who is learning to crate train, so I understand that patience and positive reinforcement are important. Above all, I want pets to feel at home and know that they’re in a safe, caring environment. I’m attentive to their needs, respectful of their boundaries, and always prioritize their well-being.

About: I have always been an animal lover. My first pet was a parakeet, named Peanut, which I got when I was 3. From there, I took a relatively giant leap to my first pony, named Cinnamon. I have over 15 years of experience caring for horses and cattle as well as cats and dogs. Due to my brother’s allergies while growing up, the only way I could get time with animals was by taking care of them for others at their homes. We eventually got a family dog, an overly smart Beagle, named JayCee. I trained JayCee as well as my 2 horses, Cinnamon and Cooper. I have continued to pet sit throughout the years for professors in the College Station area, neighbors back home, and friends I have made from various classes during my college career. Lastly, I majored in Biomedical Sciences and took many animal science courses, which in combination with my hands-on experience, puts me in an impeccable position to care for your fur babies when you are unable. I am currently a fourth-year medical student and love to destress with walks and drop-ins as my schedule permits! I am in my last year of medical school, so I am available mostly in the early mornings, later afternoons/evenings and on weekends. Let me know how I can help! I rescued my cat, Beta, formerly known as Beta Fish, from Bryan Animal Shelter 7 years ago. I got my dog, Roscoe, from Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana about 3 years ago. I am more than willing to travel to take care of animals multiple times a day at their homes. In the past, I have taken care of puppies that required overnight care and am willing to stay the night to do so. Same has gone for anxious dogs that are used to having someone at home. For shorter time periods, I would love to get your fur babies out for a quick stroll around the block or around the nearest park.

About: Dexter is my 1st true pet. We've been together for 4 years. He's my 1st and only experience with having a pet, but he has shown me why people react to and about their dogs the way they do. I work nights so I'm at home all day. My schedule is 7on7off. I'll mainly only watch dogs on my off weeks. That way I'm at home with your pet and my dog all day everyday. I'm only watching dogs in my home where my dog, Dexter, can be comfortable. I now the 1st night or 2 might be hard for them, but they will have free range of the house. If they want to hide in the closet for a day or 2 I'll allow it, lol. I tell everyone this is Dexter's house I just pay for it, lol. Your pet will become our family and I will love them just as I love my own.

About: Hello there! My husband and I are thrilled to offer a clean, safe, and nurturing home for your fur baby while you're away. We'll give them lots of attention, playtime, and care, and of course plenty of photo updates. We both work from home and have two pugs of our own, Boba (5) and Beanie (9). We know how much trust goes into leaving your dog with someone else, which is why we use Rover for our own pugs when we travel. A few things that might help: - We only take ONE CLIENT at a time, so your pup gets our undivided attention. - Our 2,100 sq ft, 2-story single-family home makes it easy to separate dogs if needed, and we're happy to adjust to whatever your dog is comfortable with. - Our fenced backyard gives your pup a secure space to explore and play. - You'll get daily photo updates. We want you to feel connected even when you're apart. - Someone is home all day, so your dog is never left alone for long stretches. We'd love to meet your four-legged family member and give them a home-away-from-home full of love and tail wags. We both work from home Monday through Friday and can be flexible with any scheduling needs. Let us know if you have any set schedule for your pup and we'll do our best to accommodate! We have a fenced, turf yard and there is also a small dog park in our community. We have two very friendly pugs and can make any necessary adjustments.

About: I have 1 14yr old Chihuahua, Nettie and a 2yr old Yorkie, Sherry that I take care of. I rescued Nettie from the Dallas Animal Shelter from being euthanized. I love her so very much and not a day goes by that I feel so grateful and lucky to have her in my life My maltese Gia RIP passed away at the age of 13. She was my first dog and I experienced a lifetime with her and got her as a puppy. I have also in the past had a rabbit, a bird, 2 gerbils, and 2 family dogs in I have cared for and was given the responsibility to do so by my parents. I am available to provide dog sitting in overnight care, for a few hours a day, and for walking. If there is something additional and provides specialty care, just ask me, and we can figure something out. Currently I am volunteering my time with non-for-profit agencies so I can be flexible in my schedule. My complex does not have a dog park; however, I can take them on walks, runs, and to dog parks. I have 2 available crates, bowls, leashes, food, treats, toys, and room to play in the apartment. I have transportation to take them somewhere if you need or want me to. I have a very great vet nearby if it is ever needed. I assure you though, your pet(s) will be very safe. At the apartment, my husband and I have a security system in place, just for extra protection. I also can administer medications to your pet if needed.

I monitor them for an medical or behavioral issues and am highly attention to every animals specific needs. I have worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. Personally, I have had dogs and cats all my life. I have taken care of all of them, walking, training, bathing, medicating them as needed. I have also pet sit for friends and family in the past both dogs and cats. I will make sure you pet is given the highest quality treatment which is exactly what they deserve! Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday I have availability in the late afternoon as I work these days. Wednesday-Friday and Sunday I am available all day! I will care for your dog or cat within your home with whatever treats and toys are provided. For dogs, I always have a water bowl and a water bottle on walks as well as treats. If you have a yard, I can take your dog outside to play, and if not then I can entertain your pet inside.
