“We cannot say enough nice things about Dan! He is awesome and we 100% recommend him! Dan handled our animals with such kindness and love. Great communication as well. We could not have had a better experience and we will absolutely be using Dan in the future for all of our pet sitting needs!”
About: I have taken care of animals my entire life. I have experience with many different breeds and own cats and dogs of my own. I want to extend my love of animals and help out your pets! I am comfortable with feeding, walking, house sitting, and whatever else the animal needs. I have availability to walk, house sit, and care for animals at most times of the day. I currently take care of pets in my own home and am excited to care for more animals. I am comfortable walking dogs of all sizes. I have experience with cats and dogs and love to spend time with both. I can easily adjust to your pet's routine.
“Erin was such a great help when I needed the last minute sitter. She was very diligent about her care, and I knew that my baby was well taken care of with her.”

About: I’m a special education teacher looking to pick up a side job doing something I love—caring for dogs! I grew up with two dogs and have always been around them. In college, I helped my roommate care for her dog every day, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines like walks, feeding, and playtime. I’m a patient, responsible, and loving person, and I will treat your dog with the same care and attention I would give my own. You can trust that your pup or older dog will be in good hands and well cared for while you’re away. I follow an elementary school schedule, so during the school year I’m available anytime after 3:30 PM on weekdays, unless there are breaks from school I’m available! On weekends and during the summer, my schedule is much more flexible and I’m available most days and times. I’m happy to work with your schedule to make sure your dog gets the care and attention they need! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while their owner is away. I will make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise through walks and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection.I also respect each pet’s personality and needs, whether they are energetic and love to play or prefer a calm environment. I keep the home clean, follow any specific instructions the owner provides, and make sure the pet feels safe and cared for. My goal is for both the pet and owner to feel completely at ease while they’re apart.
About: I'm great with all types of dogs and have experience with senior and/or special needs doggos - can help with medication administering (time sensitive meds, doggy diapers, etc.). Depending on dog/age/stubborn-ness, I can attempt to teach some fun tricks! I'll always make sure to treat your baby like they are mine and make sure they aren't too sad while you're away! All doggos in my pics are not technically mine, but I love them like they are! I love taking pics of doggos, and I'll always make sure to snap a few to send to you randomly throughout the day :) I work full time, but my job is remote/WFH, so I'll be spending a lot of time with your pup! I don't mind/enjoy long walks, so if your doggo needs to let out more energy, I can happily oblige. I'm happy to have your doggo stay with me (I live in a dog friendly apartment) or pet/house sit! I have experience with both kinds of dogsitting, so I'm flexible. For doggos staying with me, the complex is very walkable and there are few walk friendly trails nearby as well. Potty breaks are easy since there's easily accessible grassy areas. Also, unless requested not to, doggo(s) will sleep with me on my bed, because snuggling with pups is one of my favorite past times :) I don't have my own dog (maybe one day!), but I love dogs (I am the designated dog sitter for my family and friends)!
“Matthew is so good with my Giant Schnauzer. She loves him-we will say “Matthew is coming” and she gives a little woof and starts looking for him! He is so helpful. She was a rescue, was not leash trained or socialized. Matthew carries on Her training every day and makes sure she has fun!”

“Patar was absolutely phenomenal! Our pup Tommy was a very high energetic boy with difficulties walking on the leash and she took the time to train him on good habits (and teach me too!). I would highly recommend her for any of your pup needs!”

“Howard was a lifesaver for me. I needed to get my dogs from the vet after boarding all weekend. But they don’t open until after I leave home for work. He picked them up, walked them down to my bldg and put them in my apartment. Im so grateful!!!”
“Wow !! Buddy and I have enjoyed a number of afternoon walkers but Leana has been absolutely without equal. She’s ON TIME - every time - communicates and Buddy clearly enjoys her company. You should feel completely comfortable relying on her - unless it’s between 12:15-1pm 😊😊🙏. She’s busy then. 😊”

About: I have taken care of and loved dogs for 30 years. I am a USMC Veteran and single father that has owned, lived with and cared for dogs since I was a child. I am a contract worker so I create my own schedule. I would much rather be taking care of and playing with dogs than my usual work. I take my dog for 5 miles every morning. I would gladly decrease that by a little bit to come and make sure your dog(s) can get some fresh air and exercise.
About: Hi! I just moved to Dallas and I am a HUGE lover of all things animals! I have grown up with multiple cats my entire life, and took care of 7 stray cats in New Orleans over the past four years. I served at a local non-profit in Nola as well to help TNR 4 stray dogs, and an handful of sick kitties. I love taking walks with dogs, playing fetch, and giving snuggles + love to all animals!. I cannot wait to become best friends with your baby! I just moved to Dallas to pursue my Masters of Science in Counseling at SMU, and have a flexible schedule! I have class 3 days a week, so I am available for most mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I will make your pet’s care a priority! I love to play with pets and even taught my cat how to play fetch! I can bring enrichment toys to play with, snuggle up with your pet, or keep their company from a distance.

About: I was raised with 2 dogs. I love playing with animals and going on walks. Not afraid to pick up the landmines left behind by the pets. Currently have 2 cats and follow a daily regimen with them so very comfortable following routines as needed. Currently I am between jobs so I have plenty of time for walks, play time, and babysitting! I have 2 cats of my own and was raised with dogs growing up. Familiar with a variety of pet needs! About: I am a pet lover, I’ve owned cats and dogs my whole life. I am empathetic and hard working, so your pets would be in thoughtful hands with me! I work a hybrid position, with Mondays and Fridays remote and the other weekdays in office. I hope to be honest with you and build a great schedule based on your pet’s needs. I live in an apartment alone with no pets of my own. I have a yard area great for taking dogs on bathroom breaks. I also enjoy long walks around the lake or on the trail in my free time, and would be happy to bring your pup with me!
“Taylor is great! She was awesome in taking a last-minute booking because I forgot my normal walker was on vacation. She found my place well and gave me good details and photos of the walk.”

About: Plainly put, I love dogs and they love me back! I’ve taken care of not only my own dogs, but a host of other animals as well! I enjoy nurturing dogs and going for frequent walks in my area. I’m currently working from home and have plenty of time to love and care for your four legged fur babies! Luckily my job isn’t too demanding so I’m able to go for plenty potty breaks and offer much needed back rubs and snuggles. I have no back yard, but over 1,000 sq ft of space for all fur babies to safely explore. My complex also features not one, but TWO luxury doggy parks if your dog prefers friendly interactions with other dogs. We also have a doggy spa, if you request a bath before there return back to you.🧼 I do not have pets of my own just yet, however, I can provide your fur baby with a fun adventurous stay with other doggy friends (if additionally booked during your stay period) or an ultimate solo trip, focused just on him/her. The choice is completely yours and I will always ask your permission first before allowing your dog to stay/ be around other dogs.
Lake Highlands dog parents share their Rover experiences
I can never leave enough positive comments about Kara and John. They are great and give me good dog advice throughout the day whenever I have a question (even when they are not walking my dog). They are on time and my dog does much better when they walk him. I highly recommend.

Ann has been amazing through the years. Lily loved her and got excited to see her every time. She helped even when Lily was diagnosed with ALS. Navigating the diagnosis such as picking her up to put her in the wagon and going for a walk, helping her use the bathroom. Lily eventually became paralyzed in her hind legs. Ann didn’t let that stop her for caring for my baby as if it was her own. Words cannot express how grateful I am for all the help and love she gave Lily. RIP sweet girl… if I get another puppy I will DEFINITELY hire her again!! 💯

Jeanne was the best person to watch my senior dog. She took her time to make sure my dog had everything she needed and took her time to walk and spend time with her. She even went out of the way to make her feel special on her birthday. Thank you for all you did and taking care of the member I do consider my family.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our Lea and the exceptional care she provided for Luke this past weekend. From start to finish, everything was handled with such professionalism, kindness, and genuine love for animals. Lea kept us updated with thoughtful check-ins, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that Luke received plenty of attention and love. :-) What truly stood out was the level of care and attentiveness. Lea went above and beyond to make sure he felt comfortable and loved, treating him as if he were their own. It’s not easy to trust someone with your pet, but this experience made it effortless and put us both at ease. Thanks, Lea!

Layne has been so amazing and understanding of Lacey's anxiety and reactions to men. He worked with her in a variety of ways so that everyone felt confident and safe for him to enter our house and take her for a walk. We are feeling so much better about him house/dog sitting on our upcoming trip.

She is amazing! We have a German Shepard and a sr cocker spaniel (who is stand offish) and she was so great with them. We will be using her in the future. Communication was STELLAR! She went above and beyond for our dogs and gave us so much mental peace while in our vacation.
We couldn’t have asked for a better walker! Kat is our neighbor and she took amazing care of our dog for 7 days - walking him every day at the same time, giving him treats, and keeping us updated with photos. It was clear our dog felt comfortable and happy. Kat is kind, reliable, and attentive. We’re so grateful and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy pet care!
