I have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats of different ages and personalities as a long-time pet owner. I also grew up surrounded by animals—including roosters, chickens, ducks, hamsters, dogs, and cats—which taught me from an early age how to be patient, attentive, and respectful of each animal’s unique needs. As a dog and cat mama, caring for pets is part of my everyday life, from feeding and walking to playtime, litter box care, and lots of cuddles. I’ve also provided crate and potty training to my own puppy, along with teaching basic commands using positive reinforcement and treats. I always tailor my care to each pet’s routine to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

Johana and her family were perfect. She was able to keep my girls when another sitter cancelled a week before my vacation. I received several updates along with pics and videos which helped tremendously as this was the first time I left my girls at someone else’s home. My girls enjoyed their walks throughout the day and they were well taken care of. I most certainly will book Johana in the future.
Lucy had so much fun staying with Johana! Johana took her on walks and sent many photos throughout the few days she was there. She followed instructions thoroughly and I did not worry at all about her while I was gone. About to book her again!
Johana does an incredible job beginning to end. She was extremely helpful with some specific requirements for my elderly dog, she was patient, and she communicated throughout the whole process. She also showed up on time and without reminder. I would certainly recommend her for any dog care needs.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. My schedule is very flexible since I’m home most of the time, which allows me to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. I’m happy to help with walks, drop-ins, or house sitting, and I ask that requests fall within a reasonable timeframe so I can properly plan and deliver the best care possible.

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, safety, trust, and a calm environment are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn about each pet’s behavior, age, and needs so I can prevent exposure to anything that could cause harm. During playtime, toy use, or puzzle activities, I actively supervise to ensure pets do not chew or swallow unsafe objects. When caring for multiple pets, I manage feeding time carefully by giving each pet their own space to eat, which helps prevent food-related issues, conflicts, or exposure to foods that don’t align with their diet or allergies.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, happy, and mentally stimulated. Before meals, I like to work on a few basic commands to build focus and motivation for food using positive reinforcement. During playtime, we enjoy games like hide-and-seek, fetch, and tug-of-war, and I naturally work in basic commands to keep things fun and engaging. I also enjoy taking pets on walks and will even add some light running when I see they have extra energy to burn—always keeping safety and comfort first.
