About: Rhinebeck local with a 30 minute lunch break. Available for overnight in-home and/or dog walking services. Experience with giving oral medication. Big dogs and puppies welcome! Kitties and small animals, too! Minimal experience with reptiles (only leopard geckos) but I can watch them with care instructions. Generally I work early morning to early afternoon. No earlier than 5:30 and no later than 6:00 p.m. Weekends included. My days off are usually Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday. There are some exceptions as my schedule varies week to week. But I can and frequently do work around customers' schedules, especially with advanced notice! I am diligent in keeping an eye on animals in the home. Especially puppies/potty training animals. When we are out taking a walk (for dogs) I will cross to the other side of the street and not greet other dogs, even if yours is friendly. Better to be safe than sorry! Same goes for dog parks. We can go, but I will keep a close eye on any animals and leave if things get too hot.

About: Growing up we always had animals in the home. Dogs and cats mostly! Over the past 7 years I’ve had the privilege of taking care of my friends fur babies (although I often feel as if they’re taking care of me). This included walking, grooming, feeding, and of course play time! I have experience in administering medicine to both dogs and cats. My last furry friend was a gorgeous black cat I rescued off the streets. Unfortunately, not long after we brought him home, he ended up being diagnosed with FeLV. It was a long and often tiring road but I would do it all over again for that special guy! While I’m extremely heartbroken we lost him, I am so grateful I got to experience, at least once in my life, such a special bond. This taught me a lot about caring for animals with serious health issues and deepened my appreciation for them on a new level. My schedule often fluctuates, as I’ve started a new job but I am open to all sorts of Dogs/Cats! I am energetic and love the outdoors so walks and play time come easy to me. Animals have always been an important part of my life. I feel they play an important role as a family member and therefore deserve to be treated like one! Please reach out if you have any questions! I look forward to meeting you and your beloved four-legged friend! - Ava Pet care is a daily necessity when you have the privilege of having a pet. These days I don’t but I hope that I have the privilege of taking care of yours! I think great care starts before I come to your home! I like to spend a little time getting to know if you have any primary concerns for your furry friend. If possible I like to keep a record of emergency contacts, vet info, feeding instruction (if any specific), medications, and alarm codes or instructions to enter the home. Before I leave I also like to triple check that all gates , doors, and fences are properly closed and locked.

“Kyra was a great fit for us! We needed someone to come and walk our dog for a little in the afternoons and she did great. She showed up on time, walked our little one where we asked her to (around a park), and kept her safe and happy on her walks. She is friendly and so sweet to our pup!”

About: I’ve taken care of family dogs since as long as I can remember and spent my entire life around dogs of my own, or friends and family dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes. I have a one year old mini-goldendoodle who is full of energy! Becoming a dog parent has taught me so much when it comes to patience and consistency to create the happiest and healthiest environment possible for our pups. My husband and I both work from home and my schedule is very flexible, which allows for plenty of time for walks and trips to the dog park, as well as flexibility of days and pick-up/drop-off. My dog Ray loves to get outside as much as possible so your dog will get to reap the benefits of life with us! We also have a comfortable and spacious two bedroom / two bath apartment with a huge fenced backyard for them to play! No one dog is the same, so I’m happy to cater to your pups needs to make their experience with us as comfortable and fun as possible. They’ll have constant company from our dog Ray and my husband and I are consistently around and available to care for them throughout the day.

Gabrielle A.
“Gabrielle is truly a gem, the best dog sitter we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. She has been caring for our pets since 2019, and from the very beginning, we knew we could trust her completely. She keeps a key to our home and has stayed with our pets during long trips, as well as stopping in for daily visits when our schedules don't allow. Over the years, she formed a deep bond with our two beloved senior dogs, caring for them with such tenderness and dedication as they aged, and eventually through their final chapter. Her compassion during that time meant the world to us. Now, with our new (and very opinionated!) Olde English Bulldog, Gaby continues to show the same level of attentiveness, patience, and love. She’s even been involved in the training process, always consistent and encouraging. We trust Gabrielle completely, not just as a pet sitter, but as someone who treats our animals like family. She’s dependable, kind, and has a natural way with animals that puts both pets and humans at ease. We honestly don’t know what we’d do without her.”

Sasha S.
“Sasha is a natural with animals! She’s a fur mom to her own beautiful cats who are happy as can be. When I went out of town, I asked her to walk and feed my dog twice a day for a weekend. She sent me pictures and updates so I knew my fur baby was well taken care of. I highly recommend Sasha as your next pet sitter because she is very easy to communicate with and has a flexible schedule!”
