About: I have two dachshund of my own! Iâve been hosting for 2 years and would love to continue to do so. Canât wait to meet your pups! I treat my pets as a part of myself. I make sure they are accommodated. My days arenât hectic so morning and afternoon+ night routine is established. I have a fenced yard. Thereâs lots of grass and space for them to run around. So freedom wonât be a problem. I make sure to keep my space free from food and anything chewable.
About: I have trained two puppies, and taken care of a senior dog who sadly recently passed. I understand the patience required for both ends of the spectrum. Currently my puppy is just 9 months old, and very sweet with all other pets. I can help with socialisation, or just general care and walking, whatever you need! I am a graduate student in a very flexible program, just working a few hours a week at Bard College, the rest of the time at home. I have access to a yard, and my friendly puppy to play with. I am happy to follow feeding schedules, and can maintain training routines. I have a crate if your dog needs their safe space.
âEleanor cared for our Elf, a rescued Yorkie, for two weeks. She sent us pics, consulted us when picky Elf dithered about her meals, took her on many walks and essentially treated Elf as her own fur baby! Eleanor did a super job. I would highly recommend her.â

About: With 8+ years of professional animal care experience, Iâve done it all â from leading 20+ dog playgroups to training puppies and snuggling senior pups and caring for cats with special needs. đž I absolutely love what I do and treat every pet like my own! Whether itâs a fun walk, a good game of fetch, or cozy cuddle time, I make sure your furry friend feels happy, loved, and totally at ease while youâre away. Reliable, upbeat, and animal-obsessed â I canât wait to meet your pet! â¤ď¸ I currently work from home, which makes it easy to fit pet care into my day. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time for walks, feedings, and play breaks. Since Iâm home most of the day, I can give each pet consistent attention and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. IN MY HOME- First 3 photos in my gallery are of my property. I live on 5 private acres surrounded by woods, which gives dogs plenty of space to safely run, play, and explore. Thereâs also a clean swimmable pond on the property for dogs who enjoy swimming and cooling off on warm days. For pups who canât run freely or need a bit more structure, I have two indoor/outdoor kennels available. Each kennel has a cozy heated indoor area with comfortable bedding and an outdoor section thatâs fully covered for shade and weather protection. The use of kennels is completely optional and only done with the ownerâs consent â most dogs love having both options for play and relaxation. My goal is always to make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while enjoying plenty of fresh air and outdoor time. IN YOUR HOME- When caring for pets in a clientâs home, I always make sure to respect both the petâs routine and the ownerâs space. I carefully follow all instructions for feeding, walking, medications, and any house rules to keep things consistent and stress-free for the pet. I take time to make sure each animal feels comfortable and loved â whether that means extra playtime, calm companionship, or simply keeping them company while they rest. I also keep the home tidy, make sure everything is secure, and send regular updates and photos so owners can relax knowing their pets are happy and cared for.
About: I've take care of all dogs and cats since I was about 13. This past year I gained my training and worked as a Kennel Technician at the HoundsTown franchise. On the side, whether its neighbors who go away for extended vacations, or dog walking within apartment buildings in New York and Central Park, this has always been a job in my life. This included grooming, feeding, administering medication, playing/tiring them out, cuddling/keeping them company, training them around other dogs, and many other tasks. I love being outside and taking care of such sweet animals, I would love to care for your critter! I work in Social Work locally. I only work 28 hours a week as of right now and work mostly from home. I am available. In my own home I only have one cat. She has constant food, water, and attention. She loves to play and cuddle. Your pet will receive the same exact treatment as all animals are special to me.
âI highly recommend Marielle. Sheâs is conscientious and light hearted. Her home and fenced yard are lovely. I genuinely got the impression that she enjoyed my dog Ella. It was a breeze to communicate with her to set up drop off and pick up times.â

âJanice took care of our three dogs and two cats for a little less than a week and we can't say enough about how perfect and stress free our experience was! Her house is full of love and care for animals and I am so lucky to have found her for our own. We highly recommend her services!â

âNicole has a wonderful fenced property and is extremely attentive to our puppy and senior dogs needs, making sure they are getting along well with her other guests, sending lots of photos and updates! We would love to book again!â

âSecond time booking with Volha and still very pleased. Dogs were well cared for and far less-stressed upon pickup than when I use a kennel. Volha sent text and photo updates to let me know my dogs were happy and healthy. Cannot recommend enough! I will use her services again in the future.â

About: I grew up in a cat household and became a dog mom as soon as I left home. I absolutely love all of the cats and dogs Iâve been fortunate enough to meet in this life. I raised my pup, Grumble, from 3 weeks old until she left this world at 11 years old. I am very familiar with the range of needs a dog will have throughout life, from teething to play to mobility assistance. I'm fully available in the winter as my regular job (gardening) is seasonal and won't be picking up again until later in the spring time. I can be flexible to your pets needs and more than happy to follow any directions you provide me with for their optimal care and contentment.
âCipriana and Pamela were communicative and professional. Dorito was much calmer than I thought she would be for her first overnight away. Thank you!â

âRichmond took such great care of our dogs while we were away this past week. He sent greats pics everyday and it was so nice for us to see how happy and cozy they were, through to when we picked them up and they were curled up on the couch. We also appreciate he administered meds 2x a day for one of our dogs. Thanks so much Richmond! â¤ď¸â

Port Ewen dog parents share their Rover experiences
Chastity cared for our two French bulldogs for 10+ days while we were away on vacation. She was extremely warm and welcoming to the dogs and did a great job keeping us up to date with daily photos. We were particularly grateful for her flexibility when our flight home was cancelled. She happily kept them for two extra nights and was extremely understanding. It's clear they were well taken care of and happy in our absence.

Kate has a very warm demeanor and my first impression when I brought our dog Astrid over to her house for a meet and greet before boarding, was that she would care for our dog as if she were her own. Astrid is usually quite anxious when sheâs first introduced to a new person and a new environment, but she appeared to be more at ease much quicker with Kate at her house than she typically is. Kate sent us regular pictures and updates, was very flexible about our schedule for pickup and drop-off, prompt and easy to communicate with, and we didnât worry about Astrid at all. We will certainly reach out to Kate again when planning future boarding accommodations for our sweet Astrid.
