I work full time from home. I have flexible hours and usually go on several walks around my neighborhood a day. The longest I’d be away from home ranges from 2-4 hours and that can be adjusted based on your pets’ needs.

I have a fenced yard and lots of love to give! There’s plenty of space in my house for crate(s) and I also welcome dog snuggles if they are allowed to sleep in the bed. I don’t have any other pets in the home but have lots of friends with dogs if yours likes the company.

Before leaving your pet with me, I will need: - medical/behavioral history (including vaccines). This can be an oral history- I don’t need to see records. - list of current medications - emergency contacts and vet information - what type of collar/harness you use. I will not walk dogs with an e-collar or pronged collar and will provide a harness instead. - information on activities your pet(s) enjoy and potential triggers
A typical day
I’m an avid hiker and take active dogs I watch on at least one, two hour hike a day in addition to several shorter walks. My yard is perfect for fetch and my front porch is great for sun-drenched naps.

I’ve worked in animal welfare for 20 years and have experience with every size, breed and need! I’m comfortable administering medication and most importantly, I love animals so much that I’ve dedicated my life to them :).

Marika not only facilitated my meeting with my cat, but also has helped me endlessly with the adoption process and with all different aspects of her care as a first time cat (and pet!) owner. She loves animals more than anyone, knows so much about them, and connects with them in a unique way. She is the absolute best person to have taking care of your buddy. She will give them love and attention and is excellent at communicating with owners and making sure they are comfortable.
