“5 stars (should be 10 stars). Amber is easy to communicate with, and great with dogs. She established a bond right away with my pup. She let me know all about how my pup did on his walk and at the dog park (with great details of who he played with and how he socialized). This was my 1st Rover experience and I chose well. I highly recommend Amber and will book with her again.”

About: Growing up in Port Angeles near the Olympic National Park, I have always had a strong love for animals. I received my Bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology so that I could work towards preserving threatened or endangered species. Through internships, volunteering, work experience, and personal experience, I’ve cared for a variety of species including cats, dogs, amphibians, reptiles, beavers, big cats, and wolf-dogs. I have 1.5 years experience working as a cat caregiver at a no-kill nonprofit animal rescue. During my time as a caregiver, I worked with special needs cats, senior cats, and kittens. I am currently working as a veterinary assistant at a local veterinary clinic. I have worked with dogs and cats with a variety of health conditions and temperaments. I have two cats of my own. I also work as a veterinary assistant full-time where I provide medical care to animals. This includes giving vaccines, drawing blood, trimming nails, providing food and water, and cleaning cages for animals that are staying in the hospital for extended periods of time. I would prefer to conduct a meet and greet with both you and your animal prior to caring for them in order to establish their trust. I will happily take your dog(s) for 30 minute walks around your neighborhood, and I will pick up after them during walks as well. For in home visits, if I am letting your dog out to potty, I will make sure that it is only within a fenced area that your dog cannot jump, or that your dog is on a leash. I am also a firm advocate for indoor-only cats and I am careful to not let your cats outside when I enter or exit your home. I have experience feeding pets dry food, wet food, prescription diets, and raw food diets, and will be more than happy to keep your pet on their regular meal regiment while you are gone as I understand the importance of an established routine for animals. I am familiar with medicating pets such as giving them eye drops, ear drops, pills, liquid oral medications, and subcutaneous injections. Lastly, I’ll make sure that everyone always has fresh water.

“I highly recommend Krystal’s services. She has been great with my 5-6 month old puppy who does a lot of puppy things. Her communication is excellent and she takes great care of my pet! 10/10 recommend Krystal!”

I love animals of all kinds, especially dogs and will care for yours as my own:)

About: I’ve taken care of many different dogs of all different breeds my entire life. I was a puppy raiser for the Guide Dog Foundation of America. Preciously a volunteer at the VBSCPA. I work Monday-Thursday at an office but have the availability to bring animals to the office with me and have access to large open areas with fences for dogs. I take several walks a week, and can bring dogs on outdoor walks to accommodate their exercise needs. I have a large house with a fenced in yard, that is also large. I rent but my landlord allows all pets. The fences are high, so jumping a fence would not be an issue or possible. My neighborhood is safe and full of areas to walk the dogs. I am also available to go to other houses to dog sit if needed.

“Cassidy is FANTASTIC! She was our puppy savior during my trip. She took them out for two walks a day for bathroom breaks and exercise, and they loved her! Even though my momma dog was naughty she took it in stride! I would highly recommend her for your pet care needs! Thank you Cassidy!”

About: I only learned of Rover about 4-5 months ago when I was searching for help for myself! When I travel and couldn't bring my dog I needed someone to walk and play while the hubby was at work. While I found this support, through the app, I still wasn't finding all the things that would make a TOP NOTCH Pet sitter for us. So here are JUST SOME of the things I bring to the table and was looking for myself... 1. Advance food healing (Someone that is willing and able to MAKE the specialty food my dog was requiring) 2. Pre/post surgery or mobility massage for our furry friends (I have 25+ years humans / 2 animals) 3. Mini Training with every walk. 4. Decluttering, as I am a Professional Organizer and 5. All animals: Reptile, feathered, or furry, two or more legs, you name it. Those are just a few things that set me apart. Yet all thr basics are there as well from newbie to oldie. I do have freedom with my own schedule. Yet I also run a very successful business. I can however, be available sometimes last minute so don't let that fool ya! Always reach out, you never know! Some of my friends and clients say, "If I were to come back as pet, I'd want to be yours!! If that doesn't say it all, I don't know what would?

“My dogs love Shane -- they get so excited when he arrives to take them for a walk. As soon as they get out the door, though, they settle down and thoroughly enjoy their time with him.”

About: I grew up with 1-4 dogs in the house at all times and am used to a multiple-pet household. I also have experience with reactive dogs, puppies, and senior dogs. I have been doing pet/house sitting on and off for 5 years and would love to do more in the future. I have a part-time job, but I am free Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays, and some Saturdays. I am free pretty much the whole day when I don't have work, and i could work around my 9am-6pm shift on the days that I do. I have three dogs of my own, and one of them is reactive to strange dogs, so I would prefer to come take care of your pet(s) at your house.

About: I have taken care of dogs of my own and other people’s dogs and cats since I was around 10, and have been involved in dog training since I was 13, even training my own service dog. I also dabble in dog walking. I used to work at a pet supply store that had store cats, and one of my daily chores was taking care of them, too. So I am well versed in dog AND cat care. I am currently working part time with weekends completely freed up, so I can be available in the later afternoons, and evenings, and early mornings. At my own home I have a fenced yard, but if you need me to crate your dog or if you have your own safety preferences I am definitely willing to work with them. In your home it is obviously whatever rules you have for your house, and I will follow them.

I enjoy walking, running, and playing games with the pups. I can also easily crate your dog, if that’s your preference. I can watch them play in the yard and even bring a dog friend along if you wish.

Veronica B.
“Veronica is a definite go-to when it comes to pet care. Although her experience is predominantly with dogs (she's a regular dog walker and sitter), she has taken care of my cat on numerous occasions. He's a needy boy and to Veronica it seemed like nothing. She was very accommodating and sent us many updates while away. I always reach out to her when I go out of town because I know my kitty will be well cared for.”

Tia B.
“Tia is the "dog whisperer"! She and dogs seem to have kindred spirits as they tend to warm up to her faster than to other people. Tia B. has a huge heart for animals, especially dogs, and enjoys their company which seems to resonate with the doggies. She gets to know each dog on a personal level and tailors each dog's needs to them when she trains them or just spends time with them. While there are some people who go gaga over babies, Tia B. goes gaga over puppies; so, it's safe to say that she is definitely a "dog-person" and happily so. To Tia, animals are not pets; rather, they are family members deserving of mutual love and respect, which she pours out abundantly on her own "fur-babies". If you are looking for someone who will treat your beloved doggies and "fur-babies" just like family, then there is no better person than Tia B.”

Rachel S.
“Rachel was the best sitter that I’ve had in years! She and my pup got along so well to the point that Toot, my chihuahua, was still snuggling with her on the couch when we were chatting, after I returned. Toot can be quite a handful but Rachel a did great job with her and followed my instructions perfectly. Don’t hesitate to book her, you’ll be happy that you did!”
