About: Growing up in Port Angeles near the Olympic National Park, I have always had a strong love for animals. I received my Bachelor’s degree in biology and would like to attend veterinary school in the near future. Through internships, volunteering, work experience, and personal experience, I’ve cared for a variety of species including cats, dogs, amphibians, reptiles, beavers, big cats, and wolf-dogs. I have 1.5 years experience working as a cat caregiver at a no-kill nonprofit animal rescue. During my time as a caregiver, I worked with special needs cats, senior cats, and kittens. I am currently working as a veterinary assistant at a local veterinary clinic. I have worked with dogs and cats with a variety of health conditions and temperaments. I have two cats of my own. I also work as a veterinary assistant full-time where I provide medical care to animals. This includes giving vaccines, drawing blood, trimming nails, providing food and water, and cleaning cages for animals that are staying in the hospital for extended periods of time. I would prefer to conduct a meet and greet with both you and your animal prior to caring for them in order to establish their trust. I will happily take your dog(s) for 30 minute walks around your neighborhood, and I will pick up after them during walks as well. For in home visits, if I am letting your dog out to potty, I will make sure that it is only within a fenced area that your dog cannot jump, or that your dog is on a leash. I am also a firm advocate for indoor-only cats and I am careful to not let your cats outside when I enter or exit your home. I have experience feeding pets dry food, wet food, prescription diets, and raw food diets, and will be more than happy to keep your pet on their regular meal regiment while you are gone as I understand the importance of an established routine for animals. I am familiar with medicating pets such as giving them eye drops, ear drops, pills, liquid oral medications, and subcutaneous injections. Lastly, I’ll make sure that everyone always has fresh water.

About: Hi! I have taken care of dogs for years and am looking to walk and hang out with your pups! I adopted my own high energy dog 5 months ago and hike 1-2 hours daily with her, should you be interested in a daily pal for your dog. I also offer training services and solo dog walks or check ins. I am high energy and very attentive and loving. Would love to work something out! I work from home and am out with my dog 1- 2 hours in the morning (happy to walk dogs together) and am free after 4 as well. My weekends are all dog hikes and beach walks! I adapt to you and your dogs needs. I can easily crate your dog if needed but like to be a calm and fun presence for your pups! I have worked with high energy dogs on trails and low energy pals who like to cuddle.

About: Hi there, my name is Veronica - With nearly 20 years of combined dog & cat owning, sitting, walking and training experience, I have maintained a love and respect for all animals with whom I have lived, loved and worked with. It's a treasure, and big responsibility, to care for a pet - allow me to care for yours as I do with my own! I work as an Academic Advisor at a community college. About: I grew up with a family dog and six years ago, I got one of my own. I adopted her when she was 8 weeks old, so I have been through the puppy faze. I have trained her and am currently rehabbing her over an injury so I can also administer medicine. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to stop by and give your dog some love while you are away. I’m available for drop by visits and walking your dog. I would love to meet you and your dog before hand so that way we can make sure your pup feels comfortable around me when you aren’t home and you have a chance to meet me as well.

About: I have owned a dog my whole life from when I was a kid until now. Love seeing the wiggle butt when they meet you. Recently retired so availability is whenever you need it. Available most days and nights and weekends. Easy to work with for your needs and wants I can do whatever your pets needs are. Walks, taking him to the park, grading them if you need it. About: I had a family dog for a while and am considering adopting a pet soon. Unfortunately, my schedule and life don't allow me to have a dog of my own at the moment, but I would love to spend time with your pups and pets. I work from home on M/W/F so have flexibility on these days to check in on your pets and go for walks. I'm also available on weekends. I do have a full-time job and use Rover as a way to spend time with furry friends and get outside - because it's fun for me and I don't use this as primary income I can offer affordable rates and hopefully a great time for your pup or other furry friend. That said, my availability fluctuates a bit depending on my schedule, but I do my best to keep my calendar updated! I'm also typically not available on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Unfortunately, I'm not able to take care of pets in my own home. I'm flexible with taking care of pets in your home. I'm happy to do drop in visits, stay with your pet during the day, or go for 15-20 minute walks throughout the work day, with a longer morning and evening walk. I love being outside and I love furry friends and am happy to keep you updated throughout the day so you know your pet is safe and healthy.

About: I have feeding, walking, playing and poop cleaning experience. I have been around small and large, young and old dogs most of my life. I know all are different in their needs but they all need love and I can provide that. I have no other job so I have all the time needed for your pet. I'm available days, nights, weekends and emergency care available. I haven't had a pet not like me yet. I can follow any routine already set in place. I can give extra time and love to any animal. I will not take the care of your member of the family lightly.

About: I have 4+ years caring for cats and dogs alike, specifically in cat care. I’ve cared for kittens and older cats that need extra care and love. I am a registered mental health clinician and have a passion for loving and caring for others, especially the animals! I’m currently a full time state employee and working solely in office. With my hour lunch break, I would be able to check in on the lil babies and be able to be there both before and after work! My home is not suitable for pet care. I live in a home with 2 other animals that are not welcoming other animals into their space.

About: I only learned of Rover about 4-5 months ago when I was searching for help for myself! When I travel and couldn't bring my dog I needed someone to walk and play while the hubby was at work. While I found this support with the app, I still wasn't finding all the things that would make a TOP NOTCH Pet sitter for us. So here are JUST SOME of the things I bring to the table and was looking for myself... 1. Advance food healing (Someone that is willing and able to MAKE the specialty food my dog was requiring) 2. Pre/post surgery or mobility massage for our furry friends (I have 25+ years humans / 2 animals) 3. Mini Training with every walk. 4. Decluttering, as I am a Professional Organizer and 5. All animals: Reptile, feathered, or furry, two or more legs, you name it. These few specialty items set me apart from your average dog walker, and yet all the basics are there as well. I do have freedom with my own schedule. Yet I also run a very successful business. I can however, be available sometimes last minute so don't let that fool ya! Always reach out, you never know! Some of my friends and clients say, "If I were to come back as a pet, I'd want to be yours!!" If that doesn't say it all, I don't know what would?

About: I've taken care of pets almost my entire life, starting with dogs, guinea pigs and rabbits when I was 9. As I got older I also helped care for cats and chickens. Even as a young girl, I pet-sit other families dogs and guinea pigs, and in college temporarily cared for a co-workers kitten for 5 months when they couldn't. I absolutely love having pets, and also chose a career working with animals. Animals have and always will hold a special place in my heart! About: I have always had dogs of all kinds in my home. friends rely on me to take care of their pups while they are away I am a stay at home mom, besides running errands and doing zoom meetings I am available to come take care of your pets whenever you need me. my apartment does not allow dogs so I will be walking dogs in local parks and trials. my toddler will be with me in a stroller as well
