About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always had a deep love for them. While I’ve primarily worked with horses and cows, I’ve also spent years around dogs and cats. We have our own rescue pup at home, and I’ve helped care for everything from small lap dogs to German Shepherds. There’s always been a family or friends dog around, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company, I treat every animal like they’re my own. Rover is my full time job, so we can work together to fit your pet into my day! Whether it’s early mornings, midday check-ins, or evenings, we can work out a perfect time to meet you and your pets needs! When I’m caring for pets in their home, I do my best to stick to their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable. I’ll follow any instructions you leave closely - whether it’s feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, or giving medications. I respect your home, keep things clean and tidy, and make sure your pets get lots of love and attention while you’re away. About: Hi! I recently graduated from Clemson University and am home in NY for the next year. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, lizards, turtles, hamsters, frogs, you name it for as long as I can remember. During my time at school, I’ve fostered two dogs from local shelters and loved every minute of it. I want to continue to help in any way I can while I’m home. Plus, who wouldn’t want to spend their free time with animals? I work a typical 9-5 schedule during the week, so I will have to be away from the house during the weekdays. With that being said, I’d love to spend every second of my mornings, evenings & weekends with your pets! I will care for your pets as you see fit. Of course, I would love to spend as much time with them as possible, taking them on walks or drives or even just playing in the house or yard. If your pets are fairly low maintenance, feel free to let me know what you need done and I will do so and then get out of your hair. :)

About: I’ve taken care of many different kinds of pets. At one point in my life, I had 8 different pets (2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, and 2 rabbits). I am currently a full time student , and have optional lectures. Every day is different, and each day may depend on my class schedule! I plan to do client home visits and walks! I am very comfortable with all ranges of pets, and will be able to care for your pets in any way you ask of me.

About: Before I could even remember, I have always been surrounded by dogs. Whether I am with small or giant dogs, I love them all so much! It is one of my many enjoyments to be able to make a dogs day (more like they make my day)! I am excited for the opportunity to walk, feed, and/or play with your dog! I am a graduate student working on my masters in school counseling. Being a full-time student, I have extensive time to be able to fit pet care into my schedule. Caring for my client's dogs, I treat them with the same respect and love as I would to my own dog. It is important for me to give them the most attention and affection because their lives are only so long. I will make sure that your dog is met with all their needs.

About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: My husband and I both work full time out of the house. We're not home during the week 8-9 hours at a time. We live in a single story house on 14.75 acres (no fence). I have had dogs most of my life before moving to Central New York, then finally got our dog in 2017 after moving into our house. My husband and I personally have a dog named Stitch and 2 rabbits, Zander and Rocky. If any of the dogs can't leave their cages alone we relocate the rabbits to another room. No worries they are used to this. Where we can enjoy a good game of fetch in the back yard (long line of course). Your dog(s) will be a part of the family and treated as if they are our own dogs while at our house. If you have any other questions or concerns don't hesitate to ask. Pets are taken care of first. They depend on us to take care of them so that's how it is for us. My pets are well taken care of and socialized. Dogs that come to stay with us are treated like family. They lounge on the couch (if they are aloud at home) with us after a day at work.

About: I've been taking care of animals since 7th grade. My family had their own dog and I used to care for animals around the neighborhood including cats and other animals. I take care of my former co workers dogs and my dad's dog. I'm a very active person, so I love to play outside and go for walks. I work as a teaching assistant full time and school gets out at 2:15 so I have plenty of time in the afternoon most days and could always take time off if needed for a long weekend. Plus school breaks I have plenty of time. I live in an apartment that has small dog parks outside. I'm very comfortable with letting dogs out in fenced in areas and taking them on leash for walks.

About: Currently just accepting previously established/contacted owners! Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I am currently working a full time and part time job; the hours of the full time job can vary on the specific day depending upon the released schedule, but hours of shift typically vary from 8a-4p or 1p-9p; as for the part time job, I work Wed-Fri 1am-6am. outside of said working hours, I would be fully attentive to the pets and inside the home/providing direct care. With this, I seem to best fit with clients who have on-site jobs and a work schedule that allows the pet to be left alone up to 8hrs, as it more closely resembles the pets usual experience within the home. (Updated 4.5.26) Please feel free to ask what my work shifts are for the time you’re interested in potentially booking! I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.

About: I don't remember a time when I haven't had an animal in my life! I grew up with both cats and dogs and enjoy taking care of both! Family members, neighbors, and friends have had me watch their pets of all ages and breeds from puppies to senior dogs and yorkipoos to labs! My favorite breeds are golden retrievers and black cats! I love playing with pets and giving them the love and attention they deserve! I recently moved back home to the Syracuse area and looking to spend some time with pets in my free time while I'm searching through the job market! Happy to come to you and your pet to give them the care they need! All I need is clear instructions to provide care and I’ll be excited to shower your pet with attention and affection!

About: Being 19, I have taken care of my own 3 cats and 1 big pup for around 9 years as well as taking care of neighbors, co-workers, and my friends furry friends. From old grumps to cuddly little guys, I love them all. I’m currently a part time college student Mon-Thur but I am available Fri-Sat! I also works part time in Manlius that usually ranges from 11am until 4-5pm or night shift from 5pm-10pm. I am always available for a drop in here or there before or after my work shifts that can vary day-day, but will be free all day unless working! I make sure that no food gets dropped on the floor for any furry friends to get into and am very cautious with giving medicine at the appropriate times to our companions. Making sure they get outside with plenty of walks and play time or inside with lots of cuddles is my priority as well!
