“Allysa was so fantastic with my dog! Continuous updates & photos and patience with my little girl’s goofy behaviors. She’s very trusting and knowledgeable. Would use a hundred times over!”

“Lauran was awesome with Star. By the pictures she took Star seemed to fit right in to her family. Star appeared to have a good time in a safe environment. We will use Lauran again if the need arises!”

“Leaving our puppy with Audrey felt like leaving her with family! You can tell her and her whole family are huge animal lovers and my pup had the best time. I loved the picture updates she shared. Great experience- thank you Audrey 😊”

“This was our dog's first boarding experience and he loved it! Erin sent videos and updates of Odie throughout the whole week which helped ease our mind especially when Odie's ear infection got pretty nasty (staffys are prone to ear infections), but she helped clear it up pretty good by the time of pick up. Erin will definitely be our go to sitter from now on.”

“Chelsey did a fantastic job caring for our two Aussies! They had a lengthy vacation with her and loved every minute. Chelsey sent regular updates and responded quickly to our inquiries. We highly recommend her for anyone looking to board or train their pups!”

“Sadie did a wonderful job taking care of my dog Mary. She got along with Sadie's dogs and family. Mary was very comfortable and happy. Sadie sent pictures and updates to ensure she was being well taken care of. I'd recommend her to anyone.”

“Cara was great with my dog, her and her family spent a ton of time with my big smelly bloodhound, they took her on a bunch of walks and hikes and sent me photos of their adventures together. When I picked her up after three days, she was super happy and excited but would consistently go back and give loves to Cara and her family. I will definitely be contacting her again to watch my Dog. I highly recommend you give her a try. She was amazing and the price was perfect. Thanks Cara to you and your awesome family for being so good to my girl.”

“Ashley and her family provided a very loving, homelike environment for our smallish dog while we were away. She sent adorable photos and videos that showed us how happy (and tired out) our pup was. We were extremely grateful for her care and even more so when car trouble made us extend our booking. Will FOR SURE use her again.”

About: I’ve grown up around pets and have cared for everything from Huskies and Labs to German Shepherds and a variety of cats. Having owned Huskies myself, including one with epilepsy and one with arthritis, and having watched a Lab with megaesophagus, I’m comfortable providing specialized care. I’m also experienced with energetic dogs and understand the importance of routine, exercise, and careful attention. Your pet will receive plenty of care, patience, and love while you’re away, along with fun, engaging activities to keep them happy and comfortable. I am a graduate student at ISU for pet care opportunities to fill my free time on school nights, as well as on weekends. I’ll be in the area for at least the few years, so I’m available consistently and looking to build reliable routines with pets and their owners. I miss my animals back home, and caring for other pets felt like the perfect way to spend my time doing something I genuinely enjoy. I’m happy to provide dependable care, attention, and plenty of love during my off-hours. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow all feeding, walking, and medication instructions closely and make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and breaks throughout the day. I’m experienced with energetic dogs and understand the importance of mental stimulation as well as physical activity. I always keep a clean, safe environment and make sure pets feel secure and cared for. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands.
“Robyn was awesome with my nervous pup! She was very attentive to all of my requests and great with communication. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her. I would definitely use her again.”

About: I started out walking dogs in middle school and joined dog 4-H and learned basic obedience and showing. I love caring for puppies and can potty train. My schedule is open during the week and weekends. I have two dogs who are dog friendly that keep your dogs or puppy company. I can crate dog if needed at night or short times during poor weather conditions. I like to see that high energy dogs can get up to 1-2 hours of exercise every day at my home. With exercise I like to combine brain exercise so they can be fully tuckered out.
“Robin was amazing with my four cats. They are all on the shy side and mostly hid in her bathroom. They had plenty of room to play and she sent plenty of pictures. She is great with animals and does really well communicating which eased my worries.”

About: I have taken care of dogs for 10+ years. I always make sure they are safe comfortable and happy. Im very patient, loving and caring. I will make sure that your best friends are well taken care of. Im doing this full time so I will have all the time in the world to look after your buddies to play with them and to walk them and to make sure that they are well taken care of. I dont have a fenced yard but I always make sure to keep them on a leash. I also have 2 fun loving dogs that will be able to keep your dogs company. There is also a park nearby that would be a great place for them to go on walks and play. Safety is my number 1, I dont want anything to happen to them.
“Rachel was great! She sent lots of photos and was good with communication. My dog was so happy when I picked him up. He was very well taken care of. She had great accomodations! Would highly recommend!”

“Whitney was amazing, caring and loving. She understood the assignment of taking care our 18 year old malti-poo. We felt comfortable with Whitney and was able to enjoy our mini vacation. I highly recommend her.”

“Krystal boarded mine and my roommate’s dogs. We were so grateful she was able to take both of them together despite having dogs of her own! Ace and Winnie seemed right at home and were well taken care of!”
“LOVE Kailey! She sent photos to me each day and gave updates. My dog also came back to us clean, happy, and very well behaved. Oftentimes, other families watching him can lead to him being rebellious when we get him back — not with Kailey! We highly recommend!”

Rin was amazing and super accommodating. She loved my dogs as if they were her own and I’m super appreciative of that. She kept me updated with videos and pictures. I would 100% book with Rin again. Thank you Rin for allowing Buck and Bambi into your home and treating them as if they were family :)

Puntey had such a great time during his stay! He loved playing with Sadie’s dog, and when I came to pick him up, he didn't even want to get into the car to go home. Knowing how much he enjoyed spending time with Sadie, her kids, and her dog, we will definitely be boarding him here again. Thank you, Sadie, for taking such wonderful care of him and making sure he had the best time!

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
