About: I’ve grown up around pets and have cared for everything from Huskies and Labs to German Shepherds and a variety of cats. Having owned Huskies myself, including one with epilepsy and one with arthritis, and having watched a Lab with megaesophagus, I’m comfortable providing specialized care. I’m also experienced with energetic dogs and understand the importance of routine, exercise, and careful attention. Your pet will receive plenty of care, patience, and love while you’re away, along with fun, engaging activities to keep them happy and comfortable. I am a graduate student at ISU for pet care opportunities to fill my free time on school nights, as well as on weekends. I’ll be in the area for at least the few years, so I’m available consistently and looking to build reliable routines with pets and their owners. I miss my animals back home, and caring for other pets felt like the perfect way to spend my time doing something I genuinely enjoy. “Robyn went above and beyond in every way. We were traveling around 14 hours away for a full week. We have two dogs one being very difficult needing to be let out every two hours and high anxiety. While we were away at no fault to Robyn he refused to eat or drink leading him to become very ill. Robyn kept a close eye on him and when she became concerned with how he was doing she took him to the Doggie ER and ended up saving his life. Her communication was perfect, sent photos, texts, and called when needed. It was an extremely stressful time to be away from a hurting pup and Robyn was communicating every step of the way. We will be using Robyn again in the future and I can not recommend her enough.”

Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I truly love. Over the years, I have cared for my own dogs as well as family members’ pets, including my sister’s five Huskies and my two Heelers, who were part of my family for 12 and 10 years. One of my Heelers developed Type 1 diabetes, and I proudly cared for him for five years, administering daily insulin and making sure he received the extra attention and care he needed. Because of this experience, I am comfortable caring for dogs who require medications or additional medical attention. Last year, I welcomed Maverick into my home at the beginning of July, followed shortly after by Zero. More recently, I opened my home to Blue, who came from a shelter. Blue has been doing wonderfully, and watching the boys help teach Blue new skills has been such a rewarding experience. Our home is full of love, activity, and plenty of tail wags! We make homemade dog treats every week, enjoy car rides, and never turn down a good walk. I believe dogs thrive when they receive patience, affection, consistency, exercise, and plenty of individual attention. I am transitioning into retirement from a traditional job so that I can spend more of my time doing something I genuinely love—caring for dogs. About: I have taken care of dogs for 10+ years. I always make sure they are safe comfortable and happy. Im very patient, loving and caring. I will make sure that your best friends are well taken care of. Im doing this full time so I will have all the time in the world to look after your buddies to play with them and to walk them and to make sure that they are well taken care of. I dont have a fenced yard but I always make sure to keep them on a leash. I also have 2 fun loving dogs that will be able to keep your dogs company. There is also a park nearby that would be a great place for them to go on walks and play. Safety is my number 1, I dont want anything to happen to them.
