“Chelsey was fantastic. She was reliable for drop off and pick up (more reliable than I, as I missed Chelsey’s exit and was late to pick our dog up—Chelsey was so nice about it) and super responsive while we were away. Chelsey sent a few photos of our pup throughout the week which put us at ease that she was being well cared for. Our dog had gotten muddy playing in the yard after some rain so Chelsey even bathed her before we picked her up that day. I would definitely use Chelsey again!”

“I would definitely recommend to anybody looking to board their dog. Great communication and updates throughout the week. Our dog is a little anxious so I can always tell if he was nervous about going somewhere when we come pick him up and he was totally at ease. Thanks for taking such great care of him.”

“Lauren was fabulous. She kept me up to date on what they were doing, sent pics, and video. She even kept my dog a few extra days when I needed to extend last minute. 10/10!”

“Sadie did a wonderful job taking care of my dog Mary. She got along with Sadie's dogs and family. Mary was very comfortable and happy. Sadie sent pictures and updates to ensure she was being well taken care of. I'd recommend her to anyone.”

“Kim took exceptional care of my baby girl and ended up having to take her to the vet hospital due to a UTI. Kim made personal accommodations for my pets raw diet requirements. I don’t think you would find anyone better than Kim.”

About: I have taken care of dogs for 10+ years. I always make sure they are safe comfortable and happy. Im very patient, loving and caring. I will make sure that your best friends are well taken care of. Im doing this full time so I will have all the time in the world to look after your buddies to play with them and to walk them and to make sure that they are well taken care of. I dont have a fenced yard but I always make sure to keep them on a leash. I also have 2 fun loving dogs that will be able to keep your dogs company. There is also a park nearby that would be a great place for them to go on walks and play. Safety is my number 1, I dont want anything to happen to them.
“Robyn went above and beyond in every way. We were traveling around 14 hours away for a full week. We have two dogs one being very difficult needing to be let out every two hours and high anxiety. While we were away at no fault to Robyn he refused to eat or drink leading him to become very ill. Robyn kept a close eye on him and when she became concerned with how he was doing she took him to the Doggie ER and ended up saving his life. Her communication was perfect, sent photos, texts, and called when needed. It was an extremely stressful time to be away from a hurting pup and Robyn was communicating every step of the way. We will be using Robyn again in the future and I can not recommend her enough.”

About: I started out walking dogs in middle school and joined dog 4-H and learned basic obedience and showing. I love caring for puppies and can potty train. My schedule is open during the week and weekends. I have two dogs who are dog friendly that keep your dogs or puppy company. I can crate dog if needed at night or short times during poor weather conditions. I like to see that high energy dogs can get up to 1-2 hours of exercise every day at my home. The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
