Chelsey is so easy to work with and my pup has a great time at her place. This is the second time we’ve booked with her and will definitely not be the last.

Audrey and her family did such an exceptional job caring for my two dogs. We were away for a few days and had zero concerns about whether our pets were ok, as we received plenty of updates and photos and messages. I highly recommend Audrey for any of your pet sitting needs, she and her family will be our only choice in the future!

She did excellent communicating, updating me on my dog, and taking care of her even when a last minute thing came up where my dog got too excited and hurt herself.

Lauran was awesome with Star. By the pictures she took Star seemed to fit right in to her family. Star appeared to have a good time in a safe environment. We will use Lauran again if the need arises!

Erin and her spouse are the best! They cared for Pongo like he was their own little human. He didn’t want to leave. Erin took her time and made me a video of Pongo stay and adventure he had with them. Within 4 days they was able to teach him to sit, stay, lay down and shake. I would absolutely recommend them 100 percent. Only if they watched baby’s because I would leave my 10 month old son with them. 😂

I’ll follow your pet’s routine, keep them feeling safe and loved, and send plenty of updates and photos to give you peace of mind. Weekday Availability Monday–Friday, I’m available for morning drop‑ins before my work shift. I can also stop by again during my lunch break for quick check‑ins, walks, or cuddles. Evening Care After work, I’m fully available for walks, playtime, cuddles, and any extra attention your pet needs. Weekend Availability Weekends are completely open, so I can accommodate longer visits, flexible scheduling, and more active playtime. Boarding at my home is also available if that’s easier for you and your pet. I have a fully fenced backyard and a park right next to my house, giving pets plenty of space to play, explore, and burn off energy when they stay with me. If I’m caring for your pets in your home, I’ll do everything I can to keep them happy and comfortable. I’ll follow their routine, play with them, and make sure their bellies are full. About: I’ve grown up around pets and have cared for everything from Huskies and Labs to German Shepherds and a variety of cats. Having owned Huskies myself, including one with epilepsy and one with arthritis, and having watched a Lab with megaesophagus, I’m comfortable providing specialized care. I’m also experienced with energetic dogs and understand the importance of routine, exercise, and careful attention. Your pet will receive plenty of care, patience, and love while you’re away, along with fun, engaging activities to keep them happy and comfortable. I am a graduate student at ISU for pet care opportunities to fill my free time on school nights, as well as on weekends. I’ll be in the area for at least the few years, so I’m available consistently and looking to build reliable routines with pets and their owners. I miss my animals back home, and caring for other pets felt like the perfect way to spend my time doing something I genuinely enjoy. I’m happy to provide dependable care, attention, and plenty of love during my off-hours. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow all feeding, walking, and medication instructions closely and make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and breaks throughout the day. I’m experienced with energetic dogs and understand the importance of mental stimulation as well as physical activity. I always keep a clean, safe environment and make sure pets feel secure and cared for. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands.

About: I started out walking dogs in middle school and joined dog 4-H and learned basic obedience and showing. I love caring for puppies and can potty train. My schedule is open during the week and weekends. I have two dogs who are dog friendly that keep your dogs or puppy company. I can crate dog if needed at night or short times during poor weather conditions. I like to see that high energy dogs can get up to 1-2 hours of exercise every day at my home. With exercise I like to combine brain exercise so they can be fully tuckered out.

Having Krystal watch our dog made traveling a breeze. She was very accommodating and having a dog of her own was a significant bonus. Seems it was a mini vacation for both us and our pet.

Every sitter has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.

Sitters may also include daily walks in the neighborhood during your dog's boarding stay. You can also request photo and message updates throughout so you can see which local landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.

If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Inkom home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Inkom.

Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Inkom sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
