“Lauren has been my dog sitter for a month, an u am very satisfied with her service. When we arrive, my dog greets her and wags his tail; I can tell he is happy to see her. Lauren has a large backyard with a tall fence, which means my dog is safe when he plays outside. She has been easy to communicate with. I recommend Lauren's doggy daycare services, and I will continue to send my dog to her for excellent care.”

“Robyn is such a sweet person! I told her it was my first time using a dog sitter and she sent me so many pictures and video updates of Luna that I was able to relax knowing that my sweetheart was in good hands. I will DEFINITELY call Robyn if I need Luna to be dog sat again!”

About: I have experience caring for pets of all ages, from playful puppies and kittens to senior dogs and cats who need a little extra patience and specialized care. I’ve worked with breeds of all sizes, from small companion dogs to large breeds, both in my own home and through Rover. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and keeping up with strict feeding, potty, exercise, and medication schedules. My goal is always to help every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving owners peace of mind knowing their furry family member is being cared for with the same attention and consistency they’re used to at home. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule and offer pet care seven days a week with 24-hour availability. I can often accommodate same-day bookings, making it easy to help when plans change unexpectedly. My flexible schedule also allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention to help your pet feel comfortable and cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My home has a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor play, and I always take the time to help pets feel comfortable in a new environment. I carefully follow your pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special care instructions. Fresh water is always available, and I provide high-quality treats made with natural ingredients, so you don’t have to worry about packing extras unless your pet has a specific dietary need or you prefer they only have treats from home. Every pet receives plenty of love, attention, and individualized care, and I’ll send regular photo and message updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I’d like to meet your pup before the sit, and then we’ll take 24 hours to think about and confirm the sit. Thanks for your understanding! Hi! We’re Austin and Kimberly — a husband-and-wife pet-sitting team who both absolutely love animals. We grew up around pets (I was raised on a ranch!), so caring for animals has always been a big part of our lives. We frequently dog sit for family and friends, have experience training a new puppy, and are comfortable caring for cats as well. We’re both very attentive and make sure to follow your instructions carefully so your pets are happy, safe, and cared for exactly the way you want. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddles, we treat every pet like our own and truly enjoy spending time with them. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. Please let me know what times work best for you and we can work something out. I will care for your pet in your home according to your desires! Give me the regular routine and instructions, I am happy to follow them. I am very careful with the pets I watch, very attentive to their needs and the owner's desires, as well as a fun and understanding play pal for any pet! With my experience, I can take your dogs on runs, walks, hikes, or whatever you normally do with your pet.
About: I have taken care of dogs for 10+ years. I always make sure they are safe comfortable and happy. Im very patient, loving and caring. I will make sure that your best friends are well taken care of. Im doing this full time so I will have all the time in the world to look after your buddies to play with them and to walk them and to make sure that they are well taken care of. I dont have a fenced yard but I always make sure to keep them on a leash. I also have 2 fun loving dogs that will be able to keep your dogs company. There is also a park nearby that would be a great place for them to go on walks and play. Safety is my number 1, I dont want anything to happen to them.

About: Growing up on a farm and in 4-H, I learned from an early age that animals had a very special place in my heart (especially dogs). I enjoy spending quality time with my pups by taking them on easy to moderate hikes, walking/jogging them through my neighborhood, playing fetch in our fully fenced backyard, and giving lots of snuggles. In my home your dogs will be loved and taken care of as if they were one of my own. I am available for Boarding Monday-Friday with some weekend availability. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have as I am happy to help. I look forward to meeting both you and your dogs and getting out to enjoy beautiful SE Idaho with them! I am currently home full time, so I am able to give your pup lots of attention and love during their stay in our home. I have a fully fenced yard and two dogs who would love to play with your pup! If they like to play tag and enjoy wrestling then they will have a great time playing with our sausage dogs Brody and Gracie.
“Robin was amazing with my pup. Sadie is a handful and Robin took expert time with her forming a strong and trusting bond. I couldn’t have asked for more attentive care for my lab.”

“Ashley was wonderful with Chai! She was kind enough to take him in at the last minute and was incredibly accommodating with my uncertain drop-off and pick-up times. I really appreciated her patience and flexibility, and it was clear that Chai was well cared for and comfortable. I’d absolutely trust her to watch him again!”

About: I started out walking dogs in middle school and joined dog 4-H and learned basic obedience and showing. I love caring for puppies and can potty train. My schedule is open during the week and weekends. I have two dogs who are dog friendly that keep your dogs or puppy company. I can crate dog if needed at night or short times during poor weather conditions. I like to see that high energy dogs can get up to 1-2 hours of exercise every day at my home. With exercise I like to combine brain exercise so they can be fully tuckered out.
“Loarli, was a blessing during our stay in Idaho our Lobo had the time of his life with Lorali and her pups . I got updates throughout the day with pictures of him playing and running around . I could tell when I picked him up that he was happy and had been well cared for this brought me so much peace ! I will always use Lorali when in town . 100% recommended !”

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
