About: I've walked and exercised dogs. Fed them. Snuggled them. I have a pretty laid-back personality, so I hardly stress out even when a dog is barking at me. I understand they need to get use to a person first sometimes. I work a super laid-back job from home so I have plenty of time to spend with any pets throughout the day, whether they be dogs who need walking or cats who need snuggling. I follow the routines outlined by my clients, and use my intuition to know what the pet is needed or feeling in the moment. It probably sounds corny, but it's the best way I know how to describe it. An attentive person can tell when they're upset or when they're at peace.

About: I have been working at a dog daycare/boarding facility for over a year now, supervising up to 50 dogs a day. I care for and play with dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as give them baths when needed, feeding them meals, and giving needed medications. I have experience with many different kinds of dog behavior to know when they are anxious, scared, or if something is bothering them. Outside of work, I dog sit for family and friends, taking the dogs for walks and adventures so you will always be sure they will be tuckered out by the end of the day. I recently adopted a dog through K9 Orphans, Mia. She is a sweetheart with severe stranger danger (we are working on it), so I have experience with dogs who are reactive toward strangers. Through years of experience working with dogs, I’ve learned no personality is the same. I find it very important to learn what a dog’s specifics needs are and make sure they are met. My job at the daycare is full time and I work shifts that are between 6 and 8 hours (usually late morning through evening). Since I do work later in the day I have plenty of morning time to spend taking care of pets as well as flexibility to watch pets into the evening as well. Working at a dog daycare I experience everything that comes with working with dogs. I clean up anything you can think of, I understand dog behavior and when they are overwhelmed or anxious, and I know how to handle an aggressive dog. My main priority is to always keep them safe and happy.

About: Hi! My name’s Misa and I’ve been an animal lover since I was a kid. Once my family got our first dog when I was 8 years old, we were inseparable. She was my partner in crime~ Now I have a cat of my own and he owns my heart! He’s pretty food motivated so I clicker trained him, and he knows about 10 tricks :D He also has some health issues so I’m familiar with giving cats medication. I recently graduated with my master’s from the UR and I’m still in the process of looking for a job. Which means my schedule is super flexible to hang out with your pet! I’m detail oriented, reliable, and respectful of your space and your pets~ I'm currently on the job hunt after finishing my master's degree so my schedule is very flexible to accommodate drop-ins in the morning or afternoon as well as the evening~ I'll do my best to adhere to your pet's normal routine and of course be respectful of their boundaries. About: I’ve cared for a variety of animals throughout my life—including dogs, rabbits, birds, fish, and reptiles. My mom had two Pomeranians and a Shih Tzu, so I’m no stranger to small-breed personalities! I’ve provided pet sitting, walking, grooming, feeding, and even taken pets to vet appointments. Eventually, I’d love to adopt a dog of my own 🥰—but for now, I love caring for other people’s pets like they’re part of my own family. I'm currently working part time and my schedule is flexible with reasonable notice. Early mornings during the week and some evenings would be okay. I'm also available on the weekends. I'm close to plenty of parks and I also have big yard but it's not fenced in...I have an extra room that will be used for guest pets to sleep in or next to my bed is ok..I would make sure the pet has food and water down, I can administer an medication. I would try to adhere to the pets routine so that he/she is comfortable.I'm located near several parks and have a large yard that's perfect for playtime—though it isn't fenced, I always supervise outdoor time to ensure pets are safe. Inside, I have an extra room available just for guest pets, or they’re welcome to sleep near my bed if that’s what they’re used to. I always make sure pets have fresh food and water, and I’m comfortable administering any medications they may need. Most importantly, I do my best to follow your pet’s usual routine to help them feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible while you're away.

“We have been rebooking Geoff for the last few weeks because he has been such a huge help with our dog (Boomer). He's very considerate and always refills Boomer's food/water bowls when needed. He is really good at informing us if anything out of the ordinary happens and overall good at communication. I love seeing the rover card and knowing they went on a nice walk and Boomer got plenty of exercise. Plus, he takes great pictures of Boomer.
