“Lavinia was so punctual and communicative with yet another visit, getting there right on time and letting me know how mealtime and my cat’s medicine dose went. It takes a lot of worry off my plate, thank you Lavinia!!”

“Tina is Wonderful! Had my very shy senior cat out of hiding and playing with her by 2nd visit- no small feat. She took excellent care of my little guy. Highly recommend.”

“So happy with Emily. She not only did all of her tasks perfectly, but went above and beyond the bare minimum to make us feel at ease and that our cats and home were taken care of. I truly did not worry for one single moment over almost two weeks, which any pet sitter knows is a precious gift! Thank you, Emily! I hope to work with her again!”

“My cat loves Steffen, and he brought over toys for him to try and keep which was very thoughtful. The apartment was very clean when I got back. He also went above and beyond with helping me with a perishable package that came while I was gone.”

“My first time using a pet sitter to visit my cat daily and Paige made the whole experience super easy and convenient! She followed all instructions, provided detailed daily updates and sent lots of photos of my cat. I would definitely work with her again as the experience was so much easier than packing everything for my cat to board and he was much happier at home. Thanks Paige!”

“Carly is the best! From the moment we met her, she was prepared with thoughtful questions about our kitty’s care and discussed emergency care in case anything came up. Her report cards were detailed and covered all the salient points. More importantly, her pictures showed how much fun our kitty had while interacting with Carly. (After a week with Carly, we are pretty sure our kitty will provide us a list of things we could be doing better!). In short, Carly is a rock star! There’s no one better to take care of your pet…”

“We had a last minute need for care over February break, so not an easy time to find someone. In came Baela to the rescue! Her schedule lined up with our kitten’s normal feeding times, too, so that was a bonus! She spent time playing with our little high energy guy each visit, and followed our directions perfectly. Thank you, Baela!”

“Jenine did a great job checking in on my cat. She kept me updated with pictures after every visit and gave my cat the love and attention she needed. I felt at ease knowing she was caring for my girl while I was away. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I've helped care for dogs and cats of friends when they are out of town, including walking, feeding, and cleaning up after them (including puppies, which frequently had to be cleaned up after, which I have no problem with). I am capable of handling anything that comes my way and am not easily stressed. Animal care and owner communication are my first priorities. I will do whatever you need to care for your pets, such as letting them outside in a fenced yard or putting them in a crate at the end of the visit. As I work full time, my schedule typically is weekends. However, I can do early morning walks before 8 am or after 6 pm during weekdays. Pets will be monitored closely. I stick to instructions and will ask questions if I have them. Animals will be treated with patience and respect. If house-sitting, I always put things back in their proper place and avoid touching anything that isn't required for pet care. I myself don't enjoy when folks move my things around, so I keep my hands off!
About: A recent graduate of the Eastman School of Music, I'm currently playing with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra as a flutist! I've been missing my spunky dog Kora who lives back home and have always grown up with dogs, which is why I've been a sitter for Rover since I moved here in 2021. I love going for walks/runs, just hanging out, or lying next to my fireplace at home-- hopefully your dog loves some of these too! I've been taking care of dogs in total for around 15 years now, so I'm used to taking them out fairly frequently, getting up early for a morning walk, and bathing them. I am more than happy to take your dogs on a walk or watch them in my apartment, and make sure they're well-fed, have time to play, and are happy while you can go about your day :) I've raised my dog Kora from puppyhood and am very familiar with the training required for puppies. I have also fostered a handful of dogs (small dogs and one large dog) over the last few years and have experienced shy dogs who take some time to come out of their shells :) As a musician, I have a few hours here and there scattered throughout my day that I can walk or stop by/watch your pup. I'm a very active person and love being outside! I am more than happy to be outside/in your home with them as well! I unfortunately cannot house your furry friends because of my housing situation.
“Priya was AMAZING! She took excellent care of my two cats (one who requires medication multiple times a day). It was my first time leaving my cats alone for an extended period of time and I couldn’t have felt more at ease and comfortable with the care she provided. I will definitely book her again :)”

“Grace came for 5 days in a row to watch my cat while I was away. We met beforehand so I could show her around and have her meet daphne. She checked on her and did all the things needed to make sure Daphne was comfortable, fed, and that the litter was emptied.”

“Ricardo was so great with our dog! Took him out for a walk in all kinds of weather, and he came home happy and tired. Great communication and updates - we are hoping to work with him again soon. Thanks Ricardo!”

“Alex was a great host for daycare! He was able to accommodate our schedule, great communication throughout the process, provided daily updates and pictures of Milo's stay. Milo had a wonderful space to play and nap all day, would recommend for anyone needing services.”

“Marie understood Chica's anxiety from being away from home for the first time and gave her plenty of attention and exercise. Marie was very attentive towards Chica and gave us positive feedback regarding her stay. We highly recommend Marie!”

“We booked a trial daycare before our boarding to make sure it was a good fit for everyone and it went great! Please see my full review about how much fun Sal had while staying over for boarding. Thanks again!”

“Amazing! Carla’s positive energy and chill personality was a hit with my girl. She was super content and tired after each day. I will definitely be returning!”
About: Murphy and I are a tag team! Please only reach out if your pets are good with other dogs. I’ve always been the girl who is obsessed with dogs. I grew up with dogs and I was the one who took care of them, and that love for caring and training has only grown. I’m the type of person who needs a lot of “outside time” so my soul dog Murphy and I spend a good amount of time playing in the courtyard and going on multiple walks a day; I truly don’t know who’s happier. Currently, I have a very open schedule and it’s just Murphy and I at home all day. Some evenings I babysit for my family out in Spencerport, but kid friendly dogs are welcome to come with me and there is also a large yard (not fenced in, but there is a 30 ft leash set up). I have a fenced in grass courtyard where the dogs can play, and my apartment is very open and there’s lots of room for dogs to play inside. My dog Murphy does not need to be crated when left alone, but I have a small cage in case anyone who visits needs it. Murphy has more toys than I care to admit, so your pups will have lots to play with.

About: Hello! Thank you for trusting me with your pet’s care and comfort. 🐾😊 I’m a licensed veterinary technician and professional dog trainer with a lifelong passion for animal care. With both medical and behavioral experience, I’m comfortable handling everything from shy or anxious pups to seniors and those with special needs. Your dog isn’t just being watched, they’re being truly understood and cared for. I conduct meet-and-greets in your home so your pup can feel comfortable in their own environment while we get to know each other. I’ve found this sets everyone up for success because, just like kids, dogs often behave better when their parents are away. Instead of overwhelming them with a new space and new dogs all at once, I take the first few days to carefully introduce them to my home and pack. This thoughtful approach creates a calmer, safer transition and helps prevent stress or conflict. Safety is always my top priority. I take pride in creating a structured, low-stress environment where every dog feels secure and respected. At this time, I primarily accept dogs 40 lbs and under. Larger dogs are welcome to inquire and may be accepted depending on temperament, ease of care, and compatibility with my household. I share my home with well-balanced dogs, one younger Border Collie, Hopper, a rescue chihuahua Skipper, a rescue Collie mix, Jake and my rescue Shiba Inu, Renji. 🐕 I also have some dog-savvy cats who are very accustomed to canine guests. 🐱 My home is designed with comfort in mind, whether your pup loves to play or prefers a quiet place to relax. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time, cozy lounging areas, and easy access for senior dogs who may need to avoid stairs. To ensure the highest level of care and attention, I typically host one guest dog at a time. I’m happy to accommodate multiple dogs from the same family. As an added bonus, I can provide basic grooming services during your dog’s stay, including nail trims, ear cleaning, bathing, and anal gland expression if needed for an additional fee. Feel free to inquire. I look forward to your fur baby’s stay! Thank you and have a ✨ Pawsitive ✨ day! Kimberley G, LVT, CDT I work from home so daily pet care is easy and your pets are never left alone for more than a couple hours. When I do have to leave, I have cameras to help keep an eye on them and make sure they are safe as well. 👀 I care for guests the same way I care for my own pets. I appreciate how scary it can be leaving your fur baby in someone else’s hands, so I send pictures and updates as frequently as you’d like. Safety is my number one priority. I will always do my best to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for your pup. My motto? “They’ll be relaxed, so you can relax.” 🐾☺️
“Sydney took our two large dogs so I could concentrate on enjoying the company of my young grandchildren without concern of them being knocked over. We dropped them in the morning and picked up at night. We got pictures of them going on good walks, and Sydney was great about responding to texts. We would definitely have her watch our boys again.”

“They weee both so loving toward my little Loki. He got all the snuggles and attention he could ask for. I loved seeing the pictures they sent and just how happy they all were. It shows how much they care for the animals they watch.”

“Meghan responded to my message immediately and we ended up meeting that day. She watched my dog a couple days after and I was so pleased. I have a little 5 pound yorkipoo and she has a black lab so I was a little hesitant to have them together but they had a blast! He was so good with my dog and played all day. Also very gentle. Meghan’s apartment was super nice and clean. My dog Ivy had a great time and I definitely will be using her again”

About: I've raised two energetic puppies through adolescence and frequently provide dog-sitting services for friends in the area. I also have experience working as an enrichment specialist at a well-known doggy daycare in Rochester and volunteering as a foster for local rescues. I am experienced with anxious dogs and can adapt to your fur-baby's specific needs. I'm trained in basic human and canine CPR, and I'm skilled at recognizing early signs of reactive behavior in animals. While I'm not perfect, I'm highly attentive. Since I’m home most of the time, I’ll ensure your pet stays healthy, happy, and safe! We are an adventure duo -- you can catch us at the beach playing fetch in the water, hiking, or just taking long strolls along the canal! On days where the weather is rainy, we still get 3 walks a day (morning, noon, evening) with thorough wipe downs after! Meal times are interwoven with short training sessions. I have dedicated several rooms in my house to doggy activity areas -- agility equipment, floor mats, etc (see photos). Grooming is done very regularly. My pup has environmental allergies so we also do a water rinse daily when we return from our adventures. When your baby stays with me, they will receive the same treatment (if they are comfortable getting brushed). He is my entire life and I couldn’t be happier! I have included photos of my home (and the excessive amount of dog toys we own) in my profile. Several of the rooms in my house are dedicated to doggy activities/enrichment and I also have a fenced in yard. I have also made sure that my set up allows me to separate dogs from each other if they ever get over stimulated -- I have enough rooms where each dog can be in their own room. I also have a doggy door so most days when the weather is not atrocious the dogs can relieve themselves/play as they please. Also my sun room is dedicated to dog care so if need be I can gate off/separate pooches that get too worked up (or just need privacy eating). I do have two crates — one for super small dogs and the other for dogs up to 35 lbs. My dog is crate trained but prefers free range so I have dog beds in every single room. Dogs are welcome on furniture but please make sure they have been recently bathed (within a few days before) if you are boarding as we keep our home extremely clean (the carpets get washed every month and vacuum and swiffering are done daily). We are probably not a good fit if your dog does not get along with other dogs, because my dog is still young and very energetic. If your dog does not like to play but does not react aggressively to other dogs attempting to initiate play, Momo would be fine as he does eventually give up if the other dog does not engage him at all. When we schedule a meet and greet, you can expect to meet us outside the front yard for a couple block long walk together before going to the backyard to let the pooches sniff each other out. Since Momo is a chow-mix, he is protective by nature and does not like it if other fur-babies he does not know well try to jump on his mom so I will likely only greet your baby after I put him back in the house.
“Rachel provided kind, attentive and friendly care to my girl Lucy. She provided photos and updates on Lucy and how her day was going. I feel that my girl is in great hands and that I trust Rachel is giving Lucy all the love and attention she needs!”

“Caitlyn is so unbelievably awesome! The request was super last minute and she stayed flexible every day my plans changed. Communication was top tier and Doug was excited every single day to go back and play with Olaf. Can’t wait to book with her again in the future!”

“Levi is awesome to work with! My dog Alfie absolutely loves going to daycare everyday and comes home so tired and happy, which makes me very happy too. I love the pictures and updates I receive throughout the day and Levi has been so accommodating with schedule changes. Would recommend without a doubt!”

“Gigi was great with Marshall! Their home is very welcoming and prepared to keep the dogs happy and safe. Great back yard too! Marshall enjoyed playing with their two King Charles’”

“Caroline was super accommodating with our young puppy's (and our) needs. She was up for us walking along with her, so our puppy could get feel more comfortable around her for the first meeting. Definitely will be requesting Caroline again for help with our puppy!”

“Alexandra helped us out last minute and took great care of our dogs, and even showed our cat some love too 😊 We will definitely be contacting her again in the future and would recommend her to anyone needing pet care.”

About: My love for animals has been my driving force in life. I’ve been taking care of and been around pets my entire life. I have experience with all types of animals, from cats and dogs, to reptiles and bunnies. I pride myself in how seriously I take caring for other peoples pets, I go above and beyond always, and I guarantee you I will love your pets as much as you. I have a very flexible schedule, I spend most of my time at home or hanging out with family! I do get my brothers off the bus nearly every day, but other than that, my time is spent with animals! I have seven cats and two dogs, so I take their care very seriously. I have a fenced in yard, I feed them the best food, everyone gets so much exercise and love and playtime. I have more litter boxes that I need to ensure that everyone has their own potty. I do so much more than the bare minimum for all of my pets.
“Heather was fantastic with Clifford! She went above and beyond by taking the time to get to know him and earn his trust before jumping right into things. Clifford can be a bit shy with new people, so her patience and kindness meant a lot to us. She was communicative, dependable, and clearly has a great way with dogs. I highly recommend her to other pet parents! 🐾”

About: In highschool I was very popular in my neighborhood from doing there dog nails, to dog sitting, over night stays, and even medications. Even back in high school I had a part time and school and still made sure the fur babies were taken care of. To this day I still dog sit for my neighbor. I also worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months then i moved, I learned so much while I was there in that short period of time from learning to gain respect and how to control a group of 15+ dogs . And was in a animal science program in highschool with a mentorship at a clinic, then tried to go to college for my vet tech degree but too expensive(still paying that off). I also do have a very energetic German shepherd who I train every day she knows pretty much everything(sit, lay down, roll over, paw, other paw, high five, spin, heel, center, look, leave it, back up, and wait). I also dog sat for my boyfriend's coworker who had an older pointer who had a seziure not only did I comfort the dog but I called owner asap then vet, I then called off of work. Just because it's not my animal doesn't mean I will love them any less. But the take away from all that is I have a lot of experience in the animal department. I'm currently working part time and have a lot of free time on my hands and love being around animals . I only work wensday-saturday the other days I'm free. But as you can see with my profile I do have my own fur baby but my boyfriend never works nights or weekends so she won't be alone. For the pets at clients housing not only will I respond to you text asap even if I'm busy, I will also ask for guide lines and try to keep your dog on the schedule you have them on consistency is key, especially when a change like you leaving happens. I also am a big over thinker so before I let the dog out if you have a yard I will always make sure the gates are close and secure and make sure there's nothing laying out that would harm them. When I dog sit I imagine as if it's my own dog.

About: Hi, I’m Marika! I’m a teacher, artist, mom, and lifelong animal lover. I’ve been caring for animals my entire life. I grew up with dogs and learned from an early age the importance of daily walks, playtime, companionship, and responsible pet care. As an adult, I’ve shared my home with cats and currently care for multiple cats of my own. I offer cat sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking with a focus on kindness, reliability, and individualized care. Living with both dogs and cats has taught me that every pet is unique. I enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their family is away. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members! My flexible schedule allows me to provide dependable dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week.I understand how important routines are for pets and strive to keep them comfortable, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. I do not offer pet care in my home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines closely and make sure pets have fresh water, meals, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I treat every pet and home with care, respect, and reliability.

About: I've owned dogs and cats all my life and have a wealth of experience watching and caring for animals for both friends and family. I also am experienced with the more advanced care of senior animals as well as the delicate approach necessary for anxious animals. I work part-time with a flexible schedule and plan to be a student in the near future. I'm typically free on weekends and I am happy to work with you directly and adjust my schedule as best as I am able to fit your needs. I am well-accustomed to the routine care needed for animal care, with special attention given to ensure that your pet is not bored. Playtime is very important for your animals physical and mental well-being! I'm also experienced with administering medications and following any special instructions to the letter that your pet may need. I absolutely love animals and you can be sure that I will treat your pet with the same care that I would give my own.

“Karibian was a joy to have walk my dog Lani. She was professional, kind, knowledgeable and engaged in great conversation. Lani simple adores her. I had recently fallen and fractured my hip so I needed someone to walk my dog. She was very attentive to Lani, played with her and gave her plenty of loving. She also kept me company and was so kind in assisting me a few times, although she didn't have to. I will definitely contact Karibian again for any future pet needs. I highly recommend.”

About: I come from a family who has always had multiple pets at a time, with anywhere from 3 to 10 foster dogs under our care at any given time! I’ve cared for a wide range of dogs from smaller poodles and Shih tzus to much larger retrievers, border collies, and German shepherds. I have experience with cats as well, but much more lengthy experience taking care of dogs of different sizes and temperaments :) I am a med student so my schedule varies in flexibility but I live in a very walkable area and typically spend a lot of time at home studying! I love taking long walks in between classes and studying and would love to bring a furry friend along with me :) As I do have to be in classes some days for a few hours (no more than 3-4 at a time), i am better boarding pets who can be left alone for a couple hours. As for my home, I have plenty of space for them to run around freely.
“Brett walked our dog twice in one day with very last-minute notice. He sent videos and updates at each visit, which were very sweet! He even noticed that she had chewed something up and cleaned up the mess. He was on time at each walk and gave Remi a nice long walk each time! Definitely planning on hiring him in the future.”

About: Certainly a lover of all animals, but I'm mostly definitely a dog person!! I have cared for my own jack russell for the past several years, but had to leave her with my parents since my original apartment did not allow pets. Now, however, I’m in a pet friendly area and have my own pit mix named Buddy! He is a rescue so new introductions need to move slowly, but once he gets to know you he will love you unconditionally! We are looking for a walker to come between 11:30-1 on weekdays to walk him for a half hour. I’m happy to do a run through walk with you to make sure you’re comfortable and ready to take on The Bud Man. Let me know if you’re interested! I work full time as a teacher but am available mid-late afternoons, weekends and holidays. For summer I am looking for full time dog care jobs! I typically don’t have my dog around other dogs for safety precautions. Depending on the clients preferences, I can frequently let your pets out for potty breaks, take them out on leashes during potty breaks, feed them, administer medical care as needed, and give them lots of loving.

Our dog had the best time with them and it was such a relief to see so many pictures of her playing and having a blast with other dogs while we were away. We are so appreciative of their flexibility and so happy we found them!”

“Cara and Dan were wonderful with Dewey. Super communicative, sent photos, and were really helpful when we had some last-minute plans come up! He clearly had a fantastic time- we'll absolutely check in any time we need to board our guy 🐶”

“This is a great family home for my dog -- she loved boarding here. Aaron take all your special needs and indulgences into consideration and provides plenty of play opportunities. Just what my little doodle needs!”

“Alex and his wife delivered conscientious care to my 55 lb dog. They were both very involved, engaged, and responsive. Their property has a nice backyard with a high fence, which is perfect for a dog that likes to run around. I’m planning to re-book my dog with them for a longer weekend this summer, and would definitely recommend them to friends and family.”

“David was amazing! He was super accommodating about a last minute booking, and sent lots of sweet pics of my pup having fun and getting loved on. He came back tired from all the playing and fun he had.”

“Fabiola is awesome. She took great care my cat, Milo, for several weeks. She was happy to accommodate late minute request to extend the stay. She's very patient and looks like my cat enjoyed his stay with her.”

“Kasia was wonderful! Her communication was excellent, from the start of setting up the request all the way through to providing us with regular updates about how our pup was doing. She provided loving and knowledgeable care!”

“Rebecca was great! Kept me updated and sent pictures multiple times a day. Our dog was well cared for and loved while we were away! Thank you so much for for caring for our baby!”

“I have found a solid option for bookings for my pup Blaze. Luke, his wife and their 2 pups took great care of my guy. It looks like he had a great time staying with them and being part of the family for the day. I will be booking with them very often.”

“Kate was very accommodating of my schedule and was clearly comfortable and confident taking care of animals. Cosmo seemed comfortable staying with her, her daughter, and cat, and I will definitely use her service again”

“Thomas was wonderful with our airedale terrier. He sent pictures and updates about their adventures. Our dog has food allergies and Thomas was able to make sure he did not come into contact with them. We will look forward to hiring him in the future.”

“Morgan was fantastic with our dog, Stella! She had great communication throughout our trip and shared plenty of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear Stella was well cared for and happy the entire time. We’d absolutely book with Morgan again and highly recommend her!”

“I’m above and beyond satisfied with Kaitlyn, She showed my little guy much love during his stay. Kaitlyn was consistent with providing text and video, I was able to enjoy my time away knowing my little guy was in safe hands and environment. Thanks Kaitlyn !!! You’re the best!!!!!”
