Due to safety reasons because of the hurricane. I contacted Angie and she immediately responded and we did a meet and greet right away. My dogs loved her and family instantly. She provided multiple daily updates and tons of photos which will be printing out. Lol Leaving your dogs with someone such last min is never easy but Angie surely made it very smooth! Our dogs came home happy to see us but I can see they are sad to have left. If you need a sitter who is response, caring, loving and will treat your dog as thier own then this is your person! “I am not sure where to even begin!!!! Elke and her husband are absolutely THE BEST dog sitters we have EVER had!!!! My husband and I just recently got married and had a honeymoon and we were out of the country for two whole weeks. We have never left our baby girl for that long before. We started looking for the perfect sitter several months before our trip. When we met Elke and her husband we knew immediately she would be in the best of hands while we were away! They absolutely spoiled her rotten and I think our dog enjoyed her vacation with Elke as much as we enjoyed ours. I was seriously worried she wouldn’t want to come home! They took her on long walks daily to the park or beach or causeway and even took her out on the boat one day (with our permission of course- our dog is used to boats). They have a beautiful large fenced in yard that my dog was in heaven with for chasing lizards! We don’t have a fenced in yard at home. They also have a pool which they let her swim in and bathed her when she decided to sit in mud puddles. They had a whole box of toys that Tenley immediately went over to and started playing with when e dropped her off.They took such great care of her and treated her like their own! I love that they only watch 1 or maybe 2 dogs at a time. They always asked us first how we felt about it before accepting another dog during our dog’s stay.They sent daily pictures and texts to us to keep us posted on how she was doing. We did not worry at all about our Tenley girl while were away, which is huge because that was the first time she stayed with Elke and it was the longest we have ever left her. I highly, highly recommend Elke and her husband for anyone who wants sitters who will treat their pup like a member of their own family and not just a boarding facility! My only hesitation with writing such a good review is that now she may book up quicker and not have room for us haha. I cannot say enough great words about them and the amazing care they have our girl while we were away!”
