“Donna was a great sitter. We had set up a meet and greet before booking because we were sending our dog (who is on the younger side) there for the first time and for an extended period of time and wanted to feel comfortable. Donna was very accommodating and very kind and loving towards our pup so we knew we were in good hands. During the stay, Donna sent pictures and updates every day. We could tell our dog had a good time and had been well cared for. We would definitely recommend Donna!”

“Murphy has never stayed away from us so I was a bit nervous but after the initial meet and greet between Murphy and Skye I knew Murphy was going to be well taken care of and have a blast! Skye sent updates and photos everyday of Murphy and answered any questions that I had. Skye will most definitely be the person Murphy stays with when we go out of town. Murphy came home exhausted from all the fun she had over her weekend stay! Most definitely recommend Skye to anyone who is looking for somewhere for their pup to stay when needed!”

“I LOVE Tiarra! Love, love, love., absolutely love her! My husband and I were nervous to leave our dog Elvis with someone we didn’t know… but, as life has it sometimes, we had to and I found Tiarra and I’m so glad I did. She is SO, SO, SO patient and sweet which was what not only I needed, but the human our “separation anxiety” Elvis needed as well. As a HUGE bonus we got to meet her family which made it obvious Tiarra is indeed a natural nurturer. In case you haven’t figured it out by now, I highly recommend her. My hard to impress husband (a marine) recommends her as well. If you are looking for a responsible pet sitter who will care for your pet in an immaculately clean home with family members who will dote on them too, look no further, Tiarra is your fur baby’s new best friend… and YOUR, much needed, peace of mind :-)”

“Kathryn is always amazing with my pup! She gives me such a sense of peace knowing my dog is safe, happy, and well cared for whenever I’m away. I never have to worry because I know she’s in loving, capable hands. Kathryn is reliable, caring, and provides excellent care every time. I truly appreciate everything she does and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy caretaker for your dog.”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up on a farm in Cuba, where we cared for 15+ dogs along with many other animals. That experience taught me from a young age how to be patient, responsible, and attentive to each animal’s unique needs. Today, I have a sweet senior rescue dog and recently welcomed a cat into my home. I also help care for my brothers’ dogs, including two French Bulldogs, a Husky, and a Pit Bull, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages for your peace of mind. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to the pets I care for. I plan my day around their needs, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, or simply keeping them company. I always make sure each pet receives plenty of attention, affection, and care while their owner is away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise routines, and any special needs. I take the time to help pets feel comfortable and never force interactions if they’re shy or anxious. I also keep owners updated with regular photos and messages, so they can relax knowing their pet is in good hands. I treat every home with respect and every pet as if they were my own.

About: I developed a deep love for animals at an early age. Growing up, I had every furry friend you could imagine. There’s was a point I had as many as 6 pets at a time. Today, I am a proud pet-parent of 1 dog and 2 cats. Having so many pets, I have mastered the art of multitasking and have developed a routine that ensures all my pets’ needs are met consistently. I have cared for pets of all ages and with varying needs. My dog suffers from hypothyroidism and obesity, so I have experience in medication administration and special diets. Furthermore, my dog is now in her golden years, so I have experience with senior pets as well. I have a flexible schedule and I can make myself available for drop-ins and walks as needed. On the weekends I am able to spend extended periods of time with your pets, if needed. I intend on treating not only your fur baby but also your home with the utmost care. This includes ensuring doors are shut/open before leaving, no hazards are present and making sure your pet is placed in their respective area, if applicable.
“Ana is the absolute sweetest and took the best care of my pup. She even went out of her way and found him some fresh food when he wasn’t eating well. Thank you so much Ana.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Seffner
Karel has a warm and affectionate nature and took very good care of our senior pet on multiple occasions. She goes above and beyond in understanding and attending to our pet's unique needs. She frequently sent us pics and videos during the stay and it was clear that our pet was being well cared for. We are very happy with Karel and will definitely book again.

Arlo hasn’t stayed many places, so I was a little nervous. No issues other than us missing him. Melissa and her family were so kind and kept us updated, without over doing updates. They let us enjoy our time away. He was kept clean and was very calm when we picked him up. Will definitely have them watch him again!

Nice person, great communication before and during the time Bella stayed in her house. Bella seemed to like it there and was relaxed and happy when we picked her up. Bella is elderly and needed joint chews and short walks. We chose Morgan because she has some experience with older dogs. Morgan had everything ready for us when we took Bella home.

This was our first time using Rover. Anne and her family were so welcoming. She took great care of our boys! We received daily updates with pictures. Auggie and Logan have daily grooming needs and Anne attendeded to their furry mops. Will definitely use her services again!

Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
