About: I have been an animal lover since childhood. I grew up with two dogs and seven cats. I first started pet sitting while in college at the University of Michigan. I'm unable to have my own pets, so I love having the opportunity to spend time with animals as a pet sitter and dog walker. I have experience with diverse types of dogs and cats. I have cared for young and elderly dogs and cats and have experience administering medication. I recently finished my PhD at the University of Wisconsin and am currently working remotely part time, so I have a flexible schedule. I am happy to do check ins throughout the day and can provide dog walking services any time before 8pm. I can do check-ins on dogs of any size, but am only willing to walk dogs weighing up to 80 pounds. I will walk a maximum of two dogs at a time. I can only offer petsitting in the client's home. I am respectful of other people's space and will keep your place neat and tidy. I have lots of experience with pet sitting in other people's homes and am happy to provide letters of recommendation.

About: I've had pets since I was born, from dogs and cats to water salamanders, birds, and snakes; my family home has seen it all. My love for animals has only grown from taking care of each of them. It might be hard sometimes going through and learning pet recovery, administering siezure medication, safely separating fighting dogs. I hope never to have to do those with your pets, but I do want to help people with their schedules and meet all their furry friends. I take the bus and work 2-10pm on the weekdays so that gives me time early in the morning 8-noon to use Rover. I also have time on the weekends allday. That only leaves early on weekday mornings around 6am-8am that I won't be able to do. I care for my pets at home or pets at any home, heck even animals in nature by doing what I enjoy. Taking in sights on a walk, feeding animals like ducks at a pond or animals in the zoo, checking in on the health of others. I don't know a better way than to walk my dog or even my cat sometimes. I love helping. From animals to people I want to provide assistance and care and loads of pets and treats.

About: I walked my neighbor's dogs for two summers, dog sat over weekends, and worked at a doggie daycare. I was also a dietary aid at a nursing home so I have experience following directions and keeping a schedule. I am in grad school so I usually only Rover on weekends but feel free to reach out and ask. I can see if it fits my class schedule. We had an old Irish Setter before she passed a few years ago. We loved going on walks and just hanging out together. While in your home, I will respect your space and not go into any unnecessary areas.

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was a kid, but I had my first dog 19 years ago. I am very comfortable scooping poo, litterboxes, cleaning up vomit, and checking for abnormal bowel movements and eating habits that may be from stress while you're gone. I'm great at reading a dog and cat's body language, so I am patient about letting them control the speed at which we get to know each other. I love going for walks, and am used to handling dogs on leash that may get reactive to people, dogs, cars, etc. I've worked with horses in the past, so I can handle a large animal getting excited. Most importantly, I want your dog or cat to have fun! let's play! I work freelance from home, so my days are very flexible. I can do mornings, midday, and evenings very easily. Mon-Sun, and most holidays I am in the Ann Arbor area I will ask where your pets favorite safe spaces are in their home, where they like to hide, where they're favorite treats and toys are. If your dog just needs to romp in their backyard, I'll follow whatever your home procedure is if they need to be cleaned up after or not. I'll also keep an eye out for indicators of stress: vomit, accidents inside the home or outside the litterbox, scratches or bites on furniture, destroyed toys, etc.

About: I encourage cat parents to reach out! Raised with animals all my life, I will bring natural understanding, genuine love, and calm energy, while treating every pet like family, not just a job I am currently working part-time. My schedule will allow me plenty of time for your pets. I also have availability on the weekends as needed I go above and beyond for my little fur balls and those of my clients. Give them attention when they want it, feed them as they need, play to their hearts content, that's the goal :)

I’ll keep my availability calendar updated so you’ll always know when I’m free, and if I’m able to take on a shorter-notice request, I absolutely will. I follow instructions closely and stick to a consistent routine: scooping litter, feeding, refreshing water, and cleaning bowls and the surrounding area twice a day. About: I’ve taken care of my family’s pets numerous times including feeding, walking, medications, vet visits, etc. I also have some experience training my pets and working with dogs who tend to be anxious. I recently moved to Ann Arbor to attend graduate school. I will be starting at the end of August, so I will have to attend classes during the day but have some flexibility. We can discuss if our schedules will be a good fit! I can be there during some of the day, overnight, or stop by for specific needs. About: I'm experienced walking puppies to grandpa/ma dogs. I'm respectful and empathetic with my friend on the other end of the leash. But strict. No pulling allowed. I am available to walk well-behaved dogs most mornings as well as some afternoons and evenings. One or two day notice is appreciated. Thank you. Safety comes first! I walk dogs close to me and on my left side. I hold leash tight and always have control of the dog, especially when other dogs pass.

About: I've fostered several dogs the past few years, including puppies and senior dogs. I've also taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family. I currently have a 1.5 year old Australian Shepherd puppy. I've raised her since she was 8 weeks old, so I understand the needs younger puppies may have. Your dog will also have a playmate! I work from home majority of the time so I have a flexible schedule to fit pet sitting, dog walking, and other services into my schedule. Weekends are also really flexible for me. Even if I have to step out for an errand, there will be someone home at all times. If that is not possible, your pet will not be left alone for more than ~4 hours. If you would like to board during days I need to be in office, I will communicate that clearly. I have experience with different types of dogs and cats, so I will have more knowledge on what better fits your pet. Also, I have plenty of space for them.
