About: I have had a dog my whole life and have enjoyed the constant love and company they provide. I love showing them my love and care and being part of their joy when we go on walks together. I hope to help others in need of a walker or sitter provide the love and care for their dogs that they deserve! I have had large to giant dogs and feel extremely comfortable with the size because all dogs are lovable once you get to know them. I have taken care of smaller dogs as well as medium dogs. My favorite thing is to go on walks and let them enjoy the open air and sniff all the new smells. There is so much to explore and every dog should have their opportunity to go on an adventure. I work a hybrid schedule throughout the week and have mid day availability. I am most available morning and evenings as well as most weekends. I live in a small house near the Arboretum and own a car that I can use for transportation. My services would be dog walking and home visits.

I have 10 years of experience working in veterinary medicine and have owned cats and dogs my whole life! I have fostered over 50 dogs and love all dogs and cats regardless of breed, size, temperament, health conditions - nothing will scare me away! I can medicate dogs, exercise them how they please, I can stay on top of potty training, and I am capable of the high maintenance care some of our senior pups require. I work Tuesday through Friday 8am-6pm and I can come home on my lunch break if needed and if your home is within 15 minutes of my work place. About: Besides being an animal lover, I have experience and working knowledge of animal behavior as a former boarding associate at PetSmart. I know that boarding isn't for all animals, and offer my pet-sitting services to those that want their animal to stay in the comfort of their own home. Emily is the best sitter I’ve EVER had in ten years of pet ownership! She stayed at our house for 2 and a half weeks taking care of our dog and cat while we were on our honeymoon. Emily truly went above and beyond in every way to make sure our babies got their needs met, including keeping our terrified terrier mix safe and comforted when a tornado hit Ann Arbor in the middle of the night. Our pup also had an unexpectedly bad reaction to some construction work on our street, and Emily made extra efforts to calm his nerves and adapt to a new medication regiment on the fly. She also sent us regular updates that clearly demonstrated how much both pets had bonded with her, and was prompt and conscientious whenever any issues came up.
