About: I have taken care of dogs and cats of all types and sizes since I was 8 years old. I have has countless walking and house sitting jobs since I was 14 and I was always the go-to person in the neighborhood if any pets needed walking or any families were going on vacation and were in need of an in-home caretaker, or just someone to visit their fluffy friends during the day and walk/play/spend time with them. I am currently in Graduate school Monday through Thursday 11-3:15 so I am very flexible and can cater to you and your pets needs! I am free any other time and date outside of what is listed! I live in an apartment that doesn't allow pets (devastating I know) so my chihuahua jack Russell mix is with my dad in Michigan and I will not be available to bring your pet home. However, I am very active and have many friends here that would love to give your pet some extra love. I am also very handy at finding parks to walk in and fun activities for your pet and me to do, no matter how fast or slow-paced they like to live!

I grew up with my 16-year-old family dog, who had medical issues as she got older, and I helped care for her before she passed away. I own my own business and have the opportunity to be relatively flexible with my schedule, so your furry friends will be able to be out of the crate the majority of most days, hanging out, going for walks, and getting some snuggles! I take the dogs, including the mini aussidoodle and mini labradoodle of my own, on multiple walks a day, allow them to play in the yard, and in the house, and my 10 year old and 12 year old kids will also love providing love and extra affection to your pups as well!

We were very happy with Meredith taking care of our cats. She was excellent with communication and sending updates & pictures. One of our cats is on medication and was being very difficult about taking it. Meredith was very patient and spent extra time with the cats. We were able to discuss alternatives to manage the difficult cat. Both cats did fine and were happy and healthy when we got home.
Katie has been so wonderful taking care of our sassy one multiple times throughout the year. We loved that she always took the time to accomodate her (and changed her plans to help out with a water fountain incident!) , played with her and provided extra enrichment, was super reliable and an outstanding communicator. Kim was excellent! This was the first time she was caring for our cat Eowyn and she did an amazing job. First she planned to visit us a few days prior to the cat sitting to understand all our needs and home details. She gave us detailed updates and (excellent!) photos every time she came over for Eowyn to keep us fully informed when we were gone. Eowyn was clearly very happy with her (she can be a shy cat). We are very thankful that Kim was able to sit Eowyn and would 100% recommend her.
Cynthia was a truly wonderful sitter, I would recommend her to anyone! She always brought treats, her own litter bags and lots of attention for my little guy Archie. She treated the house with care and respect and very reliably showed up and provided lovely pictures of my baby.
Emilee was able to help us with our cats last minute when my boyfriend and I were leaving for a trip. She made the effort to come to our apartment and meet our babies before we left which made us feel that much more comfortable leaving them. Her updates while we were gone were so meaningful. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
