Pet care experience
Empathetic pet sitter w/ 20+ yrs xp
Hi, my name is Ryan and I am a PhD student at UMich. I’m looking to support my studies by doing what I know best beyond art history, taking care of pets! I have had pets all my life (dogs, cats, and rabbits) and know no other life than one with furry friends in it. Being the primary caretaker of my own dog, I know the ins and outs of pet care. My furry family members have taught me about compassion, loyalty, and fun and I hope to be able to serve you and your pets with those same traits. My work schedule is very flexible and I am available most days of the weeks at various times. Reach out today, I’d love to work with you and your best friends!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a big unfenced backyard with a long hook for my own dog to go outside and get plenty of fresh air. I also have a small deck with some astroturf that my own dog loves to sun bathe on. My house has very few stairs and is suitable for smaller and older pets who have mobility issues. I keep all cleaning supplies and potentially hazardous foods stowed away.
Ratings and reviews
Did a great job with my two cats! Would absolutely love to have him back the next time we are out of town.

Ryan is great with our senior dog!

We really appreciate Ryan looking after our critters again.

Ryan is super reliable, communicative, and so kind! It's clear my dog loves having him take her for walks or pop in to check on her. I'm happy to have him as a regular walker for my dog!

Ryan did a great job taking care of my two cats. He was communicative, left photos from each visit, arrived on time each day, and made me feel very comfortable while I was away. I would happily and confidently use his services again. Thanks so much, Ryan!

Ryan was great. My very reactive dog usually takes a few visits to be comfortable, but Ryan has experience with reactive dogs and didn't seem phased by her initial reaction. He did great with her.
