About: I’m a Fear Free Certified Professional, currently studying animal behavior. I’ve been running my own home based doggy daycare and boarding house for four years. My care is crate-free (unless that's what your pup's preferred at-home routine is,) with regular group outings to trails and the beach. I live in a two level home where the entire downstairs and fenced backyard are just for the dogs! It’s colorfully set up as the coolest doggie social club, but the pups are welcome throughout both levels of the home. They are never forcibly isolated and almost always prefer to be close to wherever I am. I keep my client list small and personal—almost all of my dogs have been with me for years. I don’t aim to pack the house; I aim to give the best experience possible for every dog and human involved. Even when clients start as one-offs, they usually stick around—because I strive to be a resource for dogs and their families. That’s why I call this place a home away from home. If you're interested, I invite you to come by for a meet and greet—see the space, meet me, and let me meet your little one. I look forward to being your dog’s new best friend! Canine care is my daily life. The dogs are with me throughout the day—whether we’re in the yard, around the house, or out on a trail. I structure my routine around their needs, with group outings, downtime, and a consistent rhythm. If my personal life calls me away, I have an amazing assistant Alaina who steps in. She also co-runs the daycare! I focus on keeping things consistent, calm, fun, and full of bonding—play, rest, outdoor time, and enrichment are all part of the daily rhythm. Outside of daycare hours, the space functions as our home too, so dogs experience a relaxed, real-life environment, not a facility. I send updates, pictures, and videos throughout the day.

“My dog has done daycare here several times now, and I’m finally leaving a review: I don’t know if Alex’s other job involves customer service, but it wouldn’t surprise me, because Alex is a rockstar at making you feel welcome and like your pet is being cared for by a genuinely responsible, kind-hearted dog lover: 1) Alex has the sweetest, most friendly attitude, 2) very communicative, and responds very quickly or within an appropriate time frame, 3) has been super gracious and flexible on my very wide/varying drop-off times, 4) is great about taking a dog pic or 2 each time and giving me any updates, which gives peace of mind, and 5) genuinely cares about making my nervous dog feel comfortable, from going the extra mile (literally) driving to a quieter place to give my dog a longer, quieter walk, to letting my dog borrow her weighted blanket, to learning my dog’s triggers, to observing my dog’s behavior with other dogs. My dog can be dog reactive, and I really appreciate Alex taking the time to do a thorough meet and greet to make sure my dog will jive with the other dog in the home. (P.S. Wally is a joie-de-vivre sweetheart who shows great love to all - like owner, like dog!) Alex grew up with dogs and practices responsible separation/management techniques, like feeding the dogs separately, gates in the kitchen, etc. Not to mention that the location is convenient for dropping off my separation-anxiety dog when I’m going to non-dog-friendly activities in downtown Oakland or towards SF. Absolutely recommend Alex for dog care - a gem of a person, a gem of a dog sitter!”

About: I grew up with 3 dachshunds and pet sat for many years during college. I've also had 2 cats during college that have since passed away. I've worked a summer on a goat farm, fed chickens, and watched pet doves. I have a good presence with animals and people. I am a freelancer and am at home for the majority of the day. I can bring your dog with me to the park and running errands. Sometimes I'm out on client meetings here and there, but am always close to home. We are at the Vespr apartment building which are a dogs haven. Minutes from the lake for morning walks, with a built in doggy spa and run for evening potty breaks. Big windows with sunshine spots for sun soaking naps and filtered water for tasty sips.

“Finn had a great time with Vanessa. She’s very kind and easy to communicate with, and Finn appreciates her great yard. Finn had a great time with Vanessa’s dog Robin. We will definitely book again!”

“Azar was great with the coqui! She’s so nice and easy to coordinate with. We met beforehand and it was clear she loves dogs, so I was comfortable with her caring for coqui. She sent some pics of him couch lounging and took him on a bunch of walks. I would definitely have him hang with her again.”

“I think my girl Maze had a great day at the doggie lounge. Latricia was wonderful to work with and she has everything figured out - helping Maze get settled in, making friends with another dog, feeding time. Loved the picture updates too. Thanks!! :)”

“I recently got my first dog and was a bit nervous putting him in doggy daycare for the first time. He also has separation anxiety and that didn't help my nerves. Noni was super kind and made me feel comfortable right away. Her two dogs are sweet and during the pet sitting she kept me updated with how my dog was doing and sent me pictures. All of this helped ease me and my dog loved her. She was able to ease his nerves and make him feel comfortable. I'll definitely book with Noni again because I know she'll take good care of him!!!”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I grew up with a Bull Mastiff, a German Shepherd, and a Husky—so I’m very comfortable with those breeds. Over the years, I’ve also cared for small, sensitive companions, which has given me a wide range of experience. What really sets me apart: • Experience with many breeds and personalities – from giant guardians to toy-sized companions. • Balanced schedule – I work mornings, but I’m home by the afternoons and evenings, giving me plenty of time for walks, play, and companionship. • A holistic, gentle approach – I bring calm energy, patience, and a stress-free environment to help every dog feel safe and cared for. • Real-life dog parent – I know firsthand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your furry family member. Your pup will always be treated like family with me—loved, respected, and given the care they need to thrive. Pet care is a big part of my daily life. I work mornings, but I’m home in the afternoons and evenings, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles once I’m back. Walks, outdoor time, and relaxation are all part of the routine, and I love keeping dogs happy and engaged both physically and mentally. Our Pomsky, Rex, is part of the family and keeps me on a steady rhythm with morning walks, afternoon play, and cozy evenings. I’m happy to adjust to your dog’s unique routine—whether that means extra exercise, medication reminders, or simply a calm, loving presence while you’re away. Weekends are especially flexible and often include more outdoor time, walks, and adventures, or just quiet downtime at home if that’s what your dog prefers. In my home, safety and comfort always come first. I live in a cozy apartment and make sure every visiting dog has their own safe spot to settle in—whether that’s a comfy corner, a crate, or a designated resting place. Our family dog Rex, is well-socialized and used to having other dogs around, but I always do careful introductions and keep a close eye so everyone feels secure and at ease. I keep the environment calm, pet-friendly, and structured—no hazards, no harmful products, just lots of love and attention. While I do work mornings, I’m home in the afternoons and evenings to give your dog the walks, playtime, and companionship they need. Your pup will be treated like family here, with their own space to feel comfortable while still being part of the home.

About: Hi! My name is Frankie (they/them). I am originally from Australia, and moved to the Bay Area ten years ago to work with disability arts organizations. I’m a life long dog lover, I’ve raised two large dogs from puppyhood to adulthood, taken care of small dogs and puppies, as well as elderly dogs, and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes! I currently regularly walk and play with several small and large dogs. I have experience dogsitting up to 15 days for all kinds of dogs including high energy dogs. I have raised and lived with more cats than I can count on both hands. Some other hats I wear are artist, writer, admin wizard, and swim teacher. Looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I am currently working a part time flexible schedule, so I can be very flexible with dog care. I love to schedule in time to play and exercise with my doggy friends. I have a fenced yard, and a gated area in my home for my dog. My dog loves to play with other dogs! In other homes I take it slow letting the dog get used to me by having plenty of time to smell and lick me so we have time to bond before we play or walk together.

Aimee E.
“I truly cannot say enough good things about Aimee. We met her through Rover when our dog Zoe was a puppy, and over the last few years, she has become a part of Zoe's family. Aimee watches Zoe for both daycare and boarding. Aimee brings a lot of fun (beach trips!), stimulation (toys, a doggie pool!), training, and most importantly, a ton of love and care to Zoe's life. It's clear that Aimee is passionate about dogs, and really takes the time to get to know each pup - their personalities, quirks, and needs. She also has excellent judgment. For example, when Zoe was in her care while we were out of the country, Aimee noticed that Zoe wasn't acting like herself and ended up taking her to the vet on our behalf and updated us frequently. We always feel like Zoe is in good hands while in Aimee's care. She has has excellent communication and we also love the videos and photos she sends throughout the day. I HIGHLY recommend Aimee for both boarding and daycare. She is a gem and we feel lucky to have her!”

Clifford C.
“Cliff has shown nothing but the utmost attention and care when taking care of Benjamin. He showed his experience and willingness to deal with my Golden Retriever pup who had an ample amount of excitement and regrettably less disclipine than I care to admit. He was patient and worked with Benjamin on training and ran with him as requested to help curb his youthful exuberance. I am very happy to recommend and have Cliff care for Benjamin again.”

Jenille Anne B.
“Jen has such a natural way of connecting with animals. She’s calm, patient, and attentive, which makes even the most sensitive pets feel safe and understood. Whether it’s going on long walks, teaching gentle training cues, or simply offering love and comfort, Jen has a gift for making dogs feel like family. You can truly trust her to treat your pet with the same care and devotion she gives her own.”

Frances F.
“Frankie has taken such good care of my young rambunctious dog. They have been a reliable walker, providing active outdoor time for my 2 year old cattle dog mix, while I am at work 3-4 days a week. Bruiser is always excited to see them! And is tired and content when I come home from a long day.”
