About: We’re a husband-and-wife team based in Alameda, and we’d be so happy to care for your pup! We’re both lifelong dog lovers who currently share our home with our own sweet, friendly Cavapoo, Rio. We truly enjoy welcoming furry friends into our home like they’re part of our family! Whether your dog is playful, laid-back, or needs a little extra TLC, we work together to make sure every pet gets the attention and care they deserve. One of the best parts about working as a team is that your pup will get round-the-clock attention. We both have flexible schedules, and I work from home, which means your dog will enjoy regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, and snuggles throughout the day. We can provide consistent companionship and meet your dog’s needs, no matter their routine. We live in a quiet Alameda neighborhood. Our home is calm, clean, and dog-friendly, and your pup is welcome to make themselves comfortable. We’re happy to follow your pet’s routine and provide updates and photos to give you peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I have over 15+ years of hands-on pet care experience, starting from growing up on a dairy farm surrounded by a variety of animals and dogs of all breeds and sizes. I’ve been the go-to dog walker and pet sitter for friends, family, and coworkers since childhood, and even became the unofficial dog walker at my previous pet-friendly office. I currently live with two chinchillas (who have their room for their privacy from any furry visitors). I’m always thoughtful about making sure visiting pets feel safe, comfortable, and respected — whether they’re big, small, shy, or playful. I’m confident managing different temperaments, sizes, and routines, and I bring a calm, attentive presence to every visit. I currently work part-time and freelance, which gives me a lot of flexibility in my schedule. Pet care fits in perfectly — I genuinely enjoy building my days around walks, visits, and quality time with animals. I’m often home during the week and always looking for a good reason to get outside on the weekends, so spending time with pets is something I naturally make space for. Whether it's a midday walk or a weekend overnight stay, I'm happy to adjust my routine to meet each pet’s needs. I provide a calm, safe, and enriching environment where pets feel at home. For boarding and daycare, I have a cozy on-site kennel with a comfy bed, blanket, and toys for pets who prefer it at night, along with a secure enclosed dog park for safe play, bathroom breaks, and socializing. My daycare and boarding space is air conditioned as needed for heat-sensitive pets, and there’s a lovely patio so dogs can enjoy fresh air whenever their heart desires. For safety, I use AirTags on all pets, live in a gated complex, and have an enclosed hallway on the third floor — perfect for escape-prone dogs. Cats enjoy a clean litter box, toys, and plenty of space to play or lounge… though their patio privileges have been permanently revoked due to an undisclosed number of “great escape” attempts. I follow each pet’s routine closely and give them the activity, affection, and structure they need — along with plenty of fun.

“Tara and her family were so good to my boy Skye. I could tell that he had an amazing time with them. They are so accommodating and kept me updated throughout the day; made me feel at ease while I’m away from him. They were so patient with Skye and followed all the directions we provided regarding his care. I highly recommend and will definitely use their services again.”

“Noni was so great and Tahoe enjoyed his stay! He came back with a new toy & we were so happy to get so many updates. She was patient and understanding as he is a shelter dog finding his rhythm in the world.”

“Athena is great! Rockee is always excited to see her in the morning, and I appreciate her flexibility with my work schedule and open communication. She’s also been helping with Rockee’s reactivity and I’ve noticed a calmer demeanor when he’s around other dogs. Thank you Athena!”

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life (plus horses, goats, cows, chickens, guinea pigs and hamsters). The last 20 years I have had Frenchies and English bulldogs. Along the way I have also had chihuahua's, Rottweilers, pits, cattle dogs, American bulldogs as well as a number of rescue cats. I've adopted many from shelters, however, several showed up on my porch and adopted me. I am currently available 24/7. I can watch dogs in your home or mine. I am available to walk them on a set schedule, which I do with my dog regularly. I currently have a French bulldog, our day consists of reward based training/walks, endless love, healthy treats, enrichment toys, and hikes. I would like to offer this to other pets as well. I am understanding of any dogs special needs or diets. We run a routine program as far as food, feeding time and exercise. I will only board your dog(s)/cat(s) along with mine. I do not double book as I want to keep everyone safe and comfortable.

“Libby had the best time with Neia! She had so much fun with plenty of attention, playtime, outside time, and window gazing - all of her favorite things. She can't wait to come back!”

About: ***IMMEDIATE JACK LONDON SQ ONLY FOR WALKS/DROP-INS PLEASE *** Trust is everything, especially when it comes to caring for our pups! I believe ALL dogs are stars with their own unique "genre" (Punk, EDM, R&B, Rock, Pop, easy listening) and let's face it, this is how they crack us up on a daily basis! I believe positive reinforcement, but also Cesar's Way (exercise, discipline, affection) and include lots of playfulness in the process (solo or with my pup - your preference). I enjoy assisting in ongoing training (how to improve walking on a leash, how to look good for their "Dogs playing poker" portrait, etc) while in my care. Whether it be for a brief stay or a brisk walk (A tired dog is a happy dog!) I can't wait to meet your fluffy family member and help ease your mind while you are away from them. I have worked with dogs that may be fearful or have anxiety (many often confuse with being "aggressive" when this is not the case). Being attentive on our walks at all times is paramount...I'm not one who focuses on looking at my phone constantly (unless I'm taking pics of our walk to send to you!) while letting your pup pick up or eat something they shouldn't. Many thanks! I currently work from home and have flexibility to work with local dogs for walks/drop-ins in the Jack London Square area and boarding (near or far). I have a large fenced patio and is easy to monitor the fur monsters if they want to enjoy the outdoors a bit during their day.

Mary A.

“So happy to find Mary Ann on Rover. My Reyna loves her doggy daycare visits with her family.”

Gregory R.
“I relied on Greg to provide a safe and affectionate environment for almost two years before I moved to Southern California. My pup, Frankie, came from the shelter with a fear of men which made finding a pet sitter a challenge. I once asked my male neighbor to walk my dog as a favor, and he was afraid that my nutty little Spaniel was going to bite him! In contrast, Frankie never ever feared Greg, and that gave me peace of mind when I dropped him off. Greg was also cognizant of Frankie's sensitivities and took care to not expose him to fearful situations unnecessarily. Frankie loved going to Greg's -- even saying Greg's name around the house elicited ear perking and head tilting. Greg's dog, Theo, is a big lovebug and played well with Frankie, too. Greg is a dog lover of all sizes and will care for your fur baby like family. I never had to worry that my fur baby was going to miss his meals, his medication, or come home dirty or traumatized. If you are looking for a reliable and caring dog caregiver, I highly recommend Greg without any reservations.”

Jason Z.

“Our pup loved Jason and the whole family! Thanks so much for taking such great care of our boy!”
