About: I’ve had a Siberian Husky since I was 12 years old. The only time I wasn’t her primary caretaker was the 4 years I was away at college. I’ve seen her through the puppy phases and grow into a tame napper with bursts of energy from her youth. She lived with my parents when I moved back to the city until she crossed over the rainbow at 15, but I lived with my cousins 11 year old dog before coming to Peoria. I’ve also cared for friends’ pets before. Most notably a pug puppy that eventually moved in with a Chicago Cubs player for two weeks, a dog from Jerusalem with 3 cats and a lizard and a fish for a month, and many of my friends’ animals as well. I currently live in downtown Peoria. Depending on your pet’s needs, I am comfortable accommodating the amount of time you’d like me to spend with them, and often have more time at home/able to travel to yours on weekends. I’ve had family pets visit my place and have plenty of room to run around as well as relax. I keep an eye on them to make sure they are happy but also have the place “pet-proofed” if needed to step out. As per house visits I will stick strictly to the instructions left behind by the owner.

I've cared for animals of all ages and can identify sicknesses and health issues. I'm currently a college student with only 1-3 classes a day. About: I have been caring for dogs my entire life. I have experience bathing, walking, and playing with Chihuahua , Dachshund, Yorkie, Coton de Tuléar, Pitbulls,Boxers, and so many more! **Prices accounted for Rover’s fee** My schedule is fairly flexible to meet you and your pet’s needs! I do ask for request to be submitted at least a day in advance. I ask for same day care to be submitted two hours before requested arrival. My interactions with the animal depends on your pet’s interactions with me. For example, if your pet likes cuddles and has alot of energy. I would match that energy with various games and of course snuggle with them. However if your pet is the complete opposite and like to relax all day, I can do that too!

About: I am currently getting my bachelor's in animal behavior and care. I've had many species of dog from small to large as well as cats. I love all breeds and I am open minded to all animals. Even the scaly ones. I have 3 cats and a dog with ptsd from their previous owner. I work nights but am more then able to adjust my schedule in order to pet sit. I will still be sure they are fed properly, played with, and taken out as needed. I will ensure your pet is fed, walked, taken out and generally well looked after with lots of playtime. I can work with their dietary schedules and needs as well as their special care.

While I started out just walking them, I began taking on responsibilities of bathing, training, and taking specific care of their health — I was always the first called over when my family’s late beagle, Calvin, was experiencing the seizures that came genetically. I am not just reliable and passionate, but experienced as well, and have an eight-year-old rescued Lhasa Apso named Yosef. Besides my job as a front cashier, I’m available during the late morning and the whole afternoon — to walk, sit, and take care of your pup.
