Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I make sure every dog gets the exercise and fresh air they need with daily walks, just like I do with my own pups. For dogs with limited mobility or who tire easily, I even have a wagon that I use to wheel them around so they can still enjoy the outdoors safely and comfortably, something I do often for my senior, three-legged dog. Inside my home, I provide a calm, structured environment. I have two crates available and can accommodate both crate trained dogs and those who prefer to free roam. I have fostered many puppies and adult dogs in my home through a dog rescue in California for 5 years, and continue to do the online work for that rescue from my home in Illinois. I have two fur babies of my own Espresso and Lucy, and our two cats mostly hang out in whatever room the dogs are not in :) We have a secure, fenced backyard with room to run. Dog cuddling and treats are a staple here, as well as walks, frequent potty breaks and playing with toys! My six year old daughter loves dogs but also respects boundaries and will leave them alone if they don’t want attention. I am prompt, professional and respond to texts/calls in a timely manner. About: Everything is negotiable as far as how many pets, how many days or weeks involved, accommodation needed etc. so please message me if you have any questions. I prefer to house sit at your home but, again, I can be flexible! Im pretty empathetic towards animals so I’m aware that they need love, attention, and to be movin’, movin’! I work 3-4 days a week and go in at 4pm and I can get out anywhere from 10pm-12:30am. Checking in with your pet would be my first priority as soon as I got off of work. I will make sure doors, fences, crates (if used) are locked. Dog is always on leash when outside and constant monitoring of whereabouts as needed. Pets provide the best photo ops so expect a lot of updates and funny flicks ^-^
