“September cared for our 2-year old golden retriever in our house for 26 days. She quickly connected with our very energetic dog and formed a great relationship- it was evident that he loved her as much as she loved him at the end of their time together. September is enthusiastic and adventurous, and likes to explore new places and meet new people which our dog loves too - they went for walks around the neighborhood and on local trails, and even ventured into a few dog friendly stores. It was evident that September’s experience owning and training her own dogs helped her work with our dog. She knew when he needed to play games - mind games, sniffing games and just some time playing on the floor, as well as when it was time to relax and snuggle up in the big chair together. And, she took lots of great pictures and shared them with us, which made us feel good while we were away.”

About: I have lived with dogs and cats my whole life. My wife and I adopted one dog and a cat from a shelter and took in a stray off the street as our other dog and we love them so much. One of our dogs is 6.5 and sadly has hip issues as well as spine issues so we have to take very special care of him and give him medication every day. The other loves to hike so we go for hikes with her 5-7 days a week. I work from home so I can just as easily work from your home and watch your pups or cats, or can pop over easily to walk them and give them snuggles. We have a fenced backyard where they can run and play, as well as two friendly dogs. If your dog is not super social we also have a 2nd floor we can let them relax on

About: I grew up having cats ever since I was born. When I got out on my own I became a dog owner as well. Currently I own two cats and am hoping to get my dog fix by meeting new furry friends. I love to hike and take walks and would enjoy a doggy companion for these! I love all animals and consider myself to be compassionate and responsible. I am retired. I help with my grandchildren part time. I love to travel so am looking for flexible dates. When home (most of the time) I'm very flexible! I prefer to schedule drop in visits or stay in your home. I would consider keeping a dog in my home. I have a fenced in yard and two cats. I am not familiar with crate training - but willing to learn.

“I heard about Justine from a neighbor. I contacted her and we arranged a meet and greet with my animals. We have two Golden Retriever mixes and two cats. I was showing her around and explaining the animals routine when one of my dogs escaped out the front door. Justine witnessed me and the neighbors chasing him and trying to catch him. It was chaos 🤦‍♀️. I thought she would leave and not come back. Instead she took care of them for a week. She walked my dogs and put up with my cat that bit her ankles. She was wonderful! About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life, now I have one cat. I've always had trouble finding people to take care of them when I'm out of town, and finally I found Rover. It's been a great resource and I'm excited to be able to offer my services! I work from home currently so I'm able to step out in the morning, evening, as well as on my lunch hour. It's been the best change to my life! I have a lot of experience reading body language of animals. Sometimes they just want you to keep your distance, which is ok! Also, I can pill cats, which can be a real challenge! I even have pet piller syringes that I can provide.
