About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.

If I sound like the right fit for your pup to go to while you are away, I am so happy to meet them! I am home evenings Monday-Friday and all day on Saturdays and Sundays and would love to care for your pup! I do prefer if your fur baby is potty trained, but that being said- happy, excited, and nervous accidents happen and that is absolutely okay! :) I have a newly fenced in yard with lots of room to run and play. My dogs are very high energy and have loved playing with previous foster dogs. Just to be on the safe side, I will put your dog in a separate room/section to eat. When it comes to animals, they are family and I completely understand that a stranger watching them can be scary- I am more than happy to do a meet and greet with you and your fur baby/babies as well as send updates however often you would like during their stay.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). Currently working a max of 30 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant but recently have been working less. Typically I have Sundays and Wednesdays off during the week but sometimes get another random week day off depending on how busy we are at the clinic. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too. Your home is their home. About: Hi! My name is Stephanie, and my husband, three kids (3, 7, and 10) and I are so excited to love your dog while you’re away! A Roof for Ruffs is the brainchild of our 10yo daughter. We are a foster family for a local dog rescue organization where we take in one or two dogs at a time until they can find their forever homes. We’re having so much fun with fostering that our sweet girl suggested we take on paying clients between our fosters, and donate some of the proceeds to the same local dog rescue organization. ♥️ I’ve owned dogs my whole life. Between fostering, petsitting for family, neighbors and friends, and caring for my own pups, I have experience with all ages—from very young puppies to seniors and everything in between; small and large breeds; well-behaved and questionable; medical cases, and even the occasional cat. 😱 Your dog’s vacay siblings for their stay will include a 2yo female Great pyr/St. Bernard rescue pup, and two 4yo guinea pigs. My husband works full time, but I am a freelance writer with flexible hours working from home while caring for our three kids. About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly! Currently working a max of 30 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant but recently have been working less. Typically I have Sundays and Wednesdays off during the week but sometimes get another random week day off depending on how busy we are at the clinic. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too. Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. My pets are family and are treated as such so the same would go for your kiddos.
About: I’m Beth, I'm 28 years old and I have about ten years of experience caring for animals in the area. I also have three cats of my own. I've mainly provided care for cats, dogs, and fish. I also have experience caring for rabbits, lizards, birds, and guinea pigs. I am willing to learn to care for just about any pet. I have experience administering medication to cats and dogs as well, including insulin. I work with owners on what their pets needs are and do my very best to make my stay with your animals as close to if their owners were still home with them as I can! About: My love for animals runs deep in my core! I can get along with any type of critter, and am very willing to taking care of pets who may have special needs. I’ve grown up in a household that has at least 3 pets at a time in it, and I used to work on a farm with tons of different animals! I’m very lucky to have so many pets in my life. Pet care is something I do on the daily, considering that I have 4 dogs at my house, all of which possessing their own quirks and personality traits. Taking the pets out, feeding the pets, and just spending quality time with them is a regular part of my routine. About: I have been in love with cats and dogs for as long as I can remember! I grew up with 2 cats and 1 dog in my household as well as chickens, a bearded dragon, a turtle, fish, guinea pig, and a rabbit! Currently I have no animals but I still have the same amount of love for them! I have taken care of my friends and families animals and I’m always happy to meet some new animal friends!! 😍 I am currently a musician part time which means my schedule is flexible and I’m happy to visit your animals whenever is best for their schedule! I love to play with them using their favorite toys and don’t mind spending some extra time for some snuggle sessions while I’m there :) I am a musician which means work comes and goes and I make my own schedule so I am extremely flexible and happy to visit whenever! We always had an "electric" fence for our dog which would gently vibrate her collar if she got out of the boundary. She was well trained and very attentive. Our cats were indoor cats and we made sure they knew they shouldn't try and get outside or on counters. The chickens and rabbit were fenced in outside in a giant chicken coop and since I was handling animals at a young age I am very familiar with how to gently care for them.
About: I have had dogs all my life. I have cared for them since they were puppies until their transition to the rainbow bridge. I love meeting other animals and hearing their stories. I would care for your pets like they were mine. I have a strange schedule and may not answer your email until the next morning, so please allow me time to reply before moving onto another sitter. My availability is open during the day after 9am until 9pm and weekends 8am to 10 or 11pm. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. I am currently off work and have many hours in the day to care for your four-legged family members. I could do daily or twice a day walking as needed. I have a fenced in yard that my 5 dogs enjoy. I have 2 dogs that free roam at home. My 2 boys are big barkers, but are dog friendly. I have the other two kenneled due to bad behaviors and the other dog is having mobility issues and I try to keep her safe in the kennel.

About: I had dogs my whole childhood, and have had cats in adulthood. As a kid, I loved caring for and training our dogs, both basic commands and some fun tricks! I was responsible for letting them out when they needed, feeding them on time, playing with them, and taking them on walks. I wanted to be a dog trainer for years, and had a training manual I would study to know all the right actions and reactions for different situations and behaviors. I can't say I remember many specifics for training, but I definitely have plenty experience in basic care and play. As of right now, I am available all day on Sundays, and until 2pm all other days— perfect for midday walks or drop-ins while you're at work! I can provide basic care for both cats and dogs in their homes. I will feed, play, cuddle, walk, and even clean up after if necessary.

About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.
About: Hey! I am a huge advocate for all dogs to be treated with dignity, love, and respect. For me this means providing a safe and secure environment for their needs, an insane amount of cuddles, daily exercise, and abiding to the rules given by their owners. I have had dogs all my life, and currently I have 2 wonderful dogs: Diggie- a 2yr old 75lb male Lab/Pittie mix who is neutered. Fozzie- a 1yr 30lb male mix who is neutered. I have 2 kids aged 3yrs and 11yrs who have both been taught how to act properly around dogs. I have a big fenced in yard that my dogs love to run around in and lots of toys. If I sound like the right fit for your pup to go to while you are away, I am so happy to meet them! I am home evenings Monday-Friday and all day on Saturdays and Sundays and would love to care for your pup! I do prefer if your fur baby is potty trained, but that being said- happy, excited, and nervous accidents happen and that is absolutely okay! :) I have a newly fenced in yard with lots of room to run and play. My dogs are very high energy and have loved playing with previous foster dogs. Just to be on the safe side, I will put your dog in a separate room/section to eat. When it comes to animals, they are family and I completely understand that a stranger watching them can be scary- I am more than happy to do a meet and greet with you and your fur baby/babies as well as send updates however often you would like during their stay.
