“Such a wonderful experience for us and our dogs, we are so glad Wendy was able to help our family. Our senior dogs were much better off in their own environment and we had peace of mind knowing they were well cared for. Wendy stayed over for 2 nights, brought treats, toys, puzzles, and took care of them like they were her own. We will definitely have Wendy back to watch them during our next trip away from home.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 8 years old, and I grew up around larger breeds, such as pitbulls. I also have experience with dogs who are aggressive towards other dogs. Taking care of pets is a daily routine and it should always be on a consistent schedule. I always make sure to feed and walk my pets before and after going to work. I also make sure to give them adequate attention and play time. I always make sure to keep pets from getting into things that may harm them or make them sick, and I like to give dogs at least 15-20 of walking time to get their energy out.
“Gianna stayed at our place for 2 nights while we got married- our apartment was left in great condition and we she left us feeling comfortable about Stevie, we didn't worry about a thing! She did a great job with our quirky dog and we'd love to book with her again!”

“Brian and Georgette were amazing! They were so patient with our annimals and treated them like they were their own! They sent us pictures everyday and took care of our house while we are gone.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! I have 12 years of experience taking care of my own dog as well as caring for other pets, and about 5 years of experience with cats. I’ve also grown up around smaller pets, including guinea pigs and hamsters. I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! I have 12 years of experience taking care of my own dog as well as caring for other pets, and about 5 years of experience with cats. I’ve also grown up around smaller pets, including guinea pigs and hamsters. I’ve been pet sitting for the past couple of years and genuinely love getting to know each pet’s personality and routine. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of different ages and personalities, and I’m also comfortable administering oral medication. I’ve trained my own dog to do many tricks and understand how important patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement are when caring for animals. When I’m caring for your pets, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll follow their normal routine, give them plenty of attention and playtime, and make sure they get the care they need. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers relaxing and getting some cuddles, I’ll take the time to make them feel comfortable. I currently offer drop-ins, walks, and in-home pet sitting. My goal is to make being away from home as easy as possible for both you and your pets. I’ll treat your fur babies like family and care for them as if they were my own. I prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine while caring for them in their home. I follow your instructions carefully, keep pets supervised, and make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and care.
“Marissa was wonderful. I was lucky enough to get her on very short notice to do in-house overnight visits with my cat. Marissa was professional, communicative, and generally gave me great peace of mind while I was away I will definitely be rebooking the next time I’m going out of town!”

About: I am a woman of faith. I was raised around pets and have several years of experience pet sitting. I currently dogsit for clients, friends, and family. I've cared for dogs with disabilities and special medication requirements. I am particular about the clients I accept. If you’re a multi-dog owner, please note I will accept clients with 1 or 2 dogs. I require an initial phone consultation and in-person meet and greet prior to booking to ensure we are a good fit. My clients understand I work full-time in Warminster and am happy to accommodate their needs outside of my work hours. I only dogsit in my clients' homes and required reasonable sleeping accommodations for the duration of my stay. Contact me with any questions you may have. I look forward to speaking with you. Have a blessed day! I work a full-time job in Central Bucks County 9 AM-5:30 PM. Outside of these hours, I am happy to accommodate your pet and home care needs. I am permitted a 30-minute lunch that can be utilized for a midday visit if you are local. When I sit overnight, I stay in my clients' home to accommodate their pets' schedule. I require a place to sleep and shower. When I stay in a client's home, I treat it respectfully as if it were my own home. I am happy to accommodate any additional housekeeping requests, within reason.
About: While I've had dogs for 8+ years, I have learned the importance of training and instructing animals. In the past, I have trained dogs to understand commands such as sit, stand, lie down, paw, and many more. Not only have I focused on training, but I also recognize the importance of exerting energy in which I can play fetch with dogs or even run with them. While I am in classes, I will have plenty of time throughout the days and most nights to watch, walk, and care for your animal. When it comes to hours or even a few minutes, there is always a way to work taking care of your pet into my schedule. The middle of the days are usually harder for me since I am in class, but other than that, I have pretty much open availability. In my own personal home, It would be hard for me to house an animal considering my roommates have both a dog and a cat. I wouldn't want any animal to be reactive so I would have to visit rather than bring to my home. I am more than willing to travel to a destination to care for your animal. I am also able to walk your animal in any area deemed fit and safe for both the animal and myself.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Penns Park
Emily did an amazing job watching our dog Ella while we were out of town! She was very responsive, provided frequent updates, and sent lots of photos. Our dog is a bit shy, but she very clearly warmed up to Emily quickly. It was such a relief knowing our dog was so well cared for while we were gone. The house was left spotless as well. We would highly recommend Emily to anyone!

Natalie did a great job taking care of our dog Luna! She was kind, caring and patient when Luna was a little timid. She was great at communicating and kept us updated on Luna the whole time we were gone. She stayed in our home and kept it nice and clean, the way she found it! I would definitely reccomend Natalie.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Penns Park walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Penns Park maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Penns Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Penns Park. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
