About: I've been taking care of my best friend's and my neighbors' dogs since before I can remember, and have two very happy and healthy cats myself. I can take care of any animal, but cats and dogs are my favorites. I love to take dogs on walks and playing fetch (even on 100+ degree days) because every dog deserves the best treatment. Pet care is 24/7 for me with two cats, but since it's summertime, I'm able to be free any day of the week at any time to take care of pets, and can spend long amounts of time with pets without having to leave them. I will follow any and all rules and set by you, including feeding times, walk requests and more, as all I want is to ensure your pet is safe, happy, and taken care of properly. I am very enthusiastic about walks and even just playing with and petting dogs, and I just want to make sure pets are happy and healthy😸.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 8 years old, and I grew up around larger breeds, such as pitbulls. I also have experience with dogs who are aggressive towards other dogs. Taking care of pets is a daily routine and it should always be on a consistent schedule. I always make sure to feed and walk my pets before and after going to work. I also make sure to give them adequate attention and play time. I always make sure to keep pets from getting into things that may harm them or make them sick, and I like to give dogs at least 15-20 of walking time to get their energy out.

“Emma was awesome! Our dog is really anxious and people-selective but Emma had him completely at ease. She gave frequent updates and took great care of the house too! Would definitely use her services again!”

“We had Danielle watch our pup for a weekend at our home and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was completely stress free with her watching our dog & house!”

“Angelica was amazing! She watched over our dog, Polly, for several days and treated her with such care. Angelica was very communicative and shared lots of photos which we loved. We’d absolutely book with her again in the future!”

About: I am an animal lover and live in the New Hope area. I have over 10 years experience walking and caring for pets. My husband and I are frequent travelers and know the importance of finding a sitter who cares for your animals just as you would. I have experience watching all size and breeds of dogs, as well as cats and other pets and am happy to do so in your house or mine. I only take in one dog (or multiple from the same family) so that they can get all the attention they need while you are away. I treat your dog(s) as if they were my own. We have a large house and yard for your dog to take advantage of. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!! I work from home and have the flexibility to be with your pets during the day and night. My schedule is also flexible for walks if that is what you need! My number one priority is the safety of your pet. I love to take walks with them and am happy to let them out to play in your fenced yard.

“Justine did a wonderful job caring for our dog for the first time on two overnight stays. Our 10-year old pup is very anxious with rain and storms, and Justine made sure she was comfortable while we were away. Our dog also takes time to warm up to new people, and Justine was very patient with her, coming to visit several times before our trip to make sure the stay went smoothly. We will definitely call her again if we need someone to watch or walk our dog at our house!”

About: When I’m not at work, I spend most of my time with our 9 year old rescue dog Cooper, or spending time going on walks as a family. In my spare time, I’ve had the pleasure of fostering 7 rescue dogs in our home until they all were matched with a loving family and their forever homes❤️. Lover of all animals (cats included, although I cannot pet them due to allergies🤧). I enjoy getting to meet and take care of all sorts of pets on Rover. I’ve even had the chance to feed a families horses while they were away on vacation. If your fuzzy family member needs a babysitter, a nice walk, or anything in between then feel free to send me a message! Currently open 7 days a week for availability. Feel free to reach out regarding availability or with any questions, and I’m also happy to do a meet and greet if preferred. For high energy dogs I have taken them on neighborhood walks, hikes, or played toys with them. I always let the pet parent guide me on what their dog is up for. We have a senior dog gentleman of our own, so for dogs with a milder temperament I am happy to take them on short walks or can hang inside with them if that’s more their speed.
“Marissa was wonderful. I was lucky enough to get her on very short notice to do in-house overnight visits with my cat. Marissa was professional, communicative, and generally gave me great peace of mind while I was away I will definitely be rebooking the next time I’m going out of town!”

“I can’t say enough about Alyssa, she was GREAT!!! Very caring and kind to my dog Teddy. She took him for walks and recorded it. Which was wonderful to see. Also took pictures of him eating. Which always makes me happy. You don’t have to worry when Alyssa is there. I would highly recommend her. You will be completely satisfied. Ty again Alyssa😃”

“Pat did a great job taking care of the pups while we were away. We felt so safe leaving our babies and home in Pat’s care. Highly recommend hiring Pat for all your pet needs.”

About: I have been caring for and loving cats and dogs for over 20 years… I have experienced all sizes and breeds of both dogs and cats. I have a very caring and loving personality and it never takes long for even the shyest of animals to warm up to me. I work a full-time job from 7 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday so my weekends are usually caring for the things I love most… Animals. It has always been and always will be my favorite past time. I have pet set for all different types with very strict rules and I always take notes and follow instructions down to a science. I love to send pictures and videos to the pet parents just so that they know how cared for and loved their animal is while they’re away.

About: As a lifelong animal lover and pet owner, I understand that pets are family. I have hands on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels, including daily walks, feeding, playtime, administering basic medications, and providing plenty of love and attention. I have owned a Golden Retriever, yorkie, two Great Danes, and a pitbull. I am comfortable with everything from energetic exercise sessions to gentle care for smaller breeds. I pride myself on being reliable, responsible, and attentive to each pet's unique needs. Whether your dog needs a long walk, a quick potty break, or companionship while you're away, I will treat them with the same care and affection I give my own pets. My goal is to ensure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while giving owners peace of mind. I do work Monday through Friday from 9-1 which is about 15 minutes away from my house, but my hours are very flexible to where I can be home during the day prices just may vary if your dog needs someone home all day! I have a fenced in yard, I have a pool if your dog is a water lover, lots of treats, I used to have many dogs but as of now I only have a yorkie in the house along with my two younger siblings who grew up with dogs and love dogs and my two parents.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 5,327 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Woodhill. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Woodhill walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Woodhill maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Woodhill choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodhill. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
