I personally had a 140 lbs Great Pyrenees who was reactive, so believe me when I say “all sizes and personalities” I’m currently a law student with no set work schedule apart from classes. About: Hi! I’m Aster, I’m a college student, and I’ve loved pets since I was still learning how to walk! Since I was little I’ve lived with and cared for five different dogs, one of which I personally trained since he was a puppy, and two rescues that needed some more TLC than your average pet. I’ve walked and pet-sat for various friends and neighbors since I was five—for dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs and birds! I’ve volunteered at farms and worked with a variety of farm animals as well. I’ve cared for a rescue cat of my own since she was about a year old, and also have some experience pet sitting for others’ cats. Any pet I take care of I always treat like they’re my own furbaby! Pets are family to me, not just a job, and I make an effort to truly connect with any pet I’m caring for—even if it’s just for one walk! “Audrey and Dan went above and beyond to take care of my senior Newfoundland (12 years 2 months) when we went away for 5 nights. With her age, she unexpectedly took a turn for the worse and they provided really great care and provided updates throughout the day on how she was doing - they even took turns sleeping downstairs with her so she wouldn't be alone. Caring for a stranger's 130lb dog is not easy but I was able to worry a little less knowing she was being cared for lovingly by them. They were also very flexible and allowed me to bring a bunch of floor runners to their house and they were also able to follow my millions of instructions including feeding schedules with supplements, and pills. Their patience and senior dog experience is invaluable and I would trust them with all my future dog needs. THANK YOU AGAIN!”
